My wife and I stayed 2 nights in Sep 2011. The room was average size and comfortable. The continental breakfast was okay. The hotel should give clear directions from both thr train and the bus station. We asked several people before able to arrive there.

The best hotel, which we have seen during our 14 days trip over Tuscany, Italy. Cool room, good breakfast, parking available, wi-fi free. It is about 20-30 minutes by foot to the city center, good location. Personal friendly and speak English.

It was very rustic, old fashioned and I find it very cute. I mean, it is old and needs to be repainted but it's very clean and tidy. Takes like a 25 min to town center, but we went there by car, so we parked it near old city's walls, few meters from entrance on the left, and it was free of charge.. Or they didn't catch us:) And hotel has a huge parking, also free, which is very practical.... And very important, wireless internet is free, only for those who booked on booking.com... That's what they told me...and it was totally ok Breakfast. I think, it is everywhere in Italy, they serve sweet breakfast, with marmelade, nutella, some croissants, and they had some cheese and ham on the menu, but it was very poor.. Also, dinning room has very small tables, not enough for a single person, not to mention a couple

The room was comfortable with a nice clean bathroom and shower. It's great for a family because we had a bunk bed and there was plenty of room for us and all our luggage. It was easy to get into the city a 15 minute bus ride and the breakfast was delicious. Not really hotels' fault but we couldn't get the bus back to the hotel and had to take 2 cabs.

Parking availability. Charming outview. Not very close to the historical center. And not cheap in price indeed!

The place was conviently placed to get into the city center. It was one of the few hotels which actually had chnaged their matresses and they were in good condition. Though the place was in a convient area it was on the main road and so with the window open it was noisy. The shower was tiny and have very little room to move about. Even with gps the place is a little hard to find and the place should list its alternative road Via Florentina which will help you find the place. The reception said that they would leave the card in order to park the car in a closed parking area but when we got back late at night it was not here and in the morning the receptionist took it out of his draw, so that prevented us using the services. The tv had only one channel in English which is a great drawback as one sometimes does not hear any news. The breakfast was good but the staff understood no English so could not request anything easily.

“Hotel La Colonna was located just outside the walls of old Seina-a 20 to 30 minute walk to Piazza de Campo. Staff was friendly and helpful-recommended a wonderful restaurant (with hotel card 10% off bill) within walking distance. Hotel was beautifully decorated and clean-one of the best we stayed in for the price. No complaints-well worth staying for many nights as a "home base" to visit nearby other towns.” Linda, Rochester |
