The only positive thing worth mentioning is the beautiful (but unkept) surroundings of the villa. Everything else is from bad to worse. If I could describe the villa with one word - it would be HORRIBLE. Where to start? The apartment we had reserved was with 40-year old carpet, even older furniture and kitchen. Our room was dirty, stinky and shabby. After spending some time outside with fresh air, entering the villa feels like entering a fox house - the smell of rotten wood, mold, and dampness is overpowering and disgusting. The service was even worse - no apologies whatsoever; no willingness to satisfy customers basic needs. The owner, an elderly Italian woman, did not speak any language except for her native Italian, and didn't bother to understand why we were unhappy. The rest of the staff, a Filippino couple, spoke English but showed the same unapologetic attitude towards the customers as if they were doing us a favor letting us stay at the villa. We left the same day we arrived as we were unable to get used to the dirt, mold, and the attitude. Unvelievable how these people are still in business. In my country, such place will be closed by the Public Health Department.

Breakfast is ok Hotel is very bad. Hard to find place. We wondered for hours searching for it. Only after they called us we found it because at night it is hidden in the wall. Hotel looks like a creepy mansion. When we arrived they put us in a basement like room with 2 floors but very uncosy and bad smell and huge spiders all over the walls. The furniture is in bad taste and bedroom has bad ventilation even when window is open.

Beautiful surroundings, gorgeous villa. Very decadent. The maid responsible for breakfast and checkin etc was extremely nice and helpful partially mitigating the rudeness of the owners. Unfortunately there is a huge drawback of this place. Pray that you don't encounter the rude eccentric owners. They are notorious locally and the place isn't advertised widely (like on the conference I was on) because everyone hates them so much. I had two unfortunate encounters with them. Rudest people I have ever met in my life and it detracted from the otherwise amazing stay. I think it's still worth the risk of going, just avoid all contact with the owners.

The building is big old villa with garden around it. Rooms are old- fashion furnished with nice paintings and other interesting decorations. Sorry to say that the staff was not very friendly, except of one young lady who speaks English other staff seems angry.

Brekfast and surranding. The shower was dirty. We have found old soap in the edge of shower. Additionally we have watched the culture of the fungi of the shower wall.

The hotel was very difficult to find, was not in Fiesole and did not 'overlook Florence'. No evening meals served and it was necessary to bus into Florence to get a meal!! To get to Fiesole one has to bus into Florence and then out again and obviously do the reverse to regain the hotel!!

Brak klimatyzacji, nieco mroczne pokoje
