It had an amazing feel about the property... loved the long driveway lit up at night it felt so welcoming. .. Great value and nice clean sheets... i would stay there again..thanks Amanda snd Ehab from perth WA...
only the location
Beautiful landscape, feels like fairytale (or at least a very good movie about old times), very spacious, beautiful interiour, private, good reception, friendly and helpfull staff, tasty breakfast (however with quite poor choice), rented a lux-apartment for the same price as cheapest options in central Florence. Reception area feels like museum with many antique interior objects. The description of the hotel correspondentto reality, which is very important as you know what to expect. Perfect for medium budget family trip or romantic trip, suits travellers by car.
Needs cosmetic renovation, a bit far from places of interest, apartment had a kitchen which we were not allowed to use, Mastercard was not accepted, only Visa or cash.
- near to the city centre - very good price - tasty breakfast - a lot of trees, peace and quiet
standard could be better
nice old italian villa
the toilette smells extremly in the hole villa and they to nothing!!!!!! no wlan in the rooms! very simple breakfast!
The owner was very grumpy old.Login even does not allow you to sit on the floor.Yelling and very disrespectful.definitely not choose this place.
The staff and breakfast...incredible
the room very old, the bed very soft, all need a reform
The hostess was wonderful, the outside garden and surrounding and ambiance was great
The bathroom needs urgent maintenance and a good steam cleaning. Breakfast was put out too early with boiling water not hot by the time of breakfast and some variety would have been great
Location. Close to bus stop and connection to inner city
Very old, worn out Room full of mosquitoes. Could not close window because it was too warm and no ac in room. No tv in room. We checked out after first night and stayed somewhere else the next 3 nights
The Philippino woman, Lee, looking after everything from reception desk to serving breakfast and probably changing bed sheets (we saw no other worker during our 5 days stay there) -- she is a fantastic worker, cheerful, conscientious, hard working, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable about the use of i-phones and smart-phones, an amazing person. I liked the villa surrounded by trees and quietness.
The elderly woman who is the owner. In the evening after Lee went home, she wasn't helpful at all. First time to get there by bus, it's not easy to find it. Now I know the bus stop name is "La Piatra". Although I didn't mind it, the unpaved path from the gate to the villa entrance door was not short -- not easy to walk carrying a luggage. I didn't mind the 10 mins. Bus ride to get to downtown Florence.
