The hostess was wonderful, the outside garden and surrounding and ambiance was great

The bathroom needs urgent maintenance and a good steam cleaning. Breakfast was put out too early with boiling water not hot by the time of breakfast and some variety would have been great

Location. Close to bus stop and connection to inner city

Very old, worn out Room full of mosquitoes. Could not close window because it was too warm and no ac in room. No tv in room. We checked out after first night and stayed somewhere else the next 3 nights

The Philippino woman, Lee, looking after everything from reception desk to serving breakfast and probably changing bed sheets (we saw no other worker during our 5 days stay there) -- she is a fantastic worker, cheerful, conscientious, hard working, attentive, helpful, knowledgeable about the use of i-phones and smart-phones, an amazing person. I liked the villa surrounded by trees and quietness.

The elderly woman who is the owner. In the evening after Lee went home, she wasn't helpful at all. First time to get there by bus, it's not easy to find it. Now I know the bus stop name is "La Piatra". Although I didn't mind it, the unpaved path from the gate to the villa entrance door was not short -- not easy to walk carrying a luggage. I didn't mind the 10 mins. Bus ride to get to downtown Florence.

The villa isn't accessible without using public transport or taxis. There was no one available to check us in between 1pm and 4pm and I suspect this may be the case every day. The lighting is very poor inside making it particularly dangerous at night. The sweeping marble staircase had 2 loose stair rods which was another cause for concern when descending in particular. The bathroom had no shower which caused difficulty for the two elderly people travelling with me. The drive way leading up to the villa is rough, uneven and poorly lit at night. I gather not all rooms have air conditioning which would be unbearable during extreme heat. All in all I'm sure the place would not meet any health and safety EU rules and regulations.

The price is very interesting. For a family is a very good solution to have a room really near Florence. The villa is really beautiful, but you don't look to closely (many small defects).

It miss the air conditionning in the room, and when the external temperature in Florence was at 40° Celsius, it should be mandatory. The breakfast it's a little bit poor.

Location, near downtown Florence. Lee, the person who greeted us was phenomenal and very helpful. She even went the extra mile and assisted with carrying the heavy luggage to our room. The breakfast outside the Villa was a great experience and the beauty surrounding the villa was great. Overall, it was a good experience staying at this villa.
