Our traditional Italian country villa, situated on a hillside not far from Lucca, is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards where organic products are produced by the farmhouse.

We recommend you start your day with our breakfast buffet, before taking advantage of our bicycle rental so you explore Lucca’s ancient architecture in comfort and style. When you return, relax by our stunning panoramic pool, or with a drink from our bar on the terrace.

The air of Tuscany continues within; the well-furnished Mediterranean style rooms, the wood-beamed ceilings, the homely and warmly decorated accommodation all combine to create an intimate atmosphere in a tranquil location. Benefitting from a splendid vista, our villa was built in the countryside near to Lucca, but it is not far away from the walls of the Tuscan city. Our hotel is surrounded by an estate of 20 hectares, full of olive trees and vineyards where organically certified products are produced by the villa's farmhouse.

Food & beverage

We provide our guests with a range of traditional and local dishes, which encapsulate the honest simplicity of carefully selected ingredients. The locally produced olive oils and organic white and red wines are the pride of our farmhouse. The ingredients range from seasonal vegetables and locally reared meats, to the game hunted in the surrounding forests. Special attention is given to quality, from the raw ingredients to the methods of preparation, always in keeping with the genuine local traditions. International dishes are also available in order to satisfy all tastes.

All 16 bedrooms benefit from the splendid location, they provide a spectacular view over Mount Pizorno and the city of Lucca alike. Comfortable and elegant they have all modern conveniences.

Area information

Organically, ethically produced and certified olive oil and wine are produced in the farmhouse, which is accompanied by an ample cellar and a comfortable wine tasting room.

We are situated in the beautiful countryside surrounding Lucca, but within east access of the ancient city. Pisa, Siena and Florence are only a day trip away as well as the Versilia coast.

By Car:
- Head straight towards Lucca's city centre.
- When you see the walls follow the sign Abetone Bagni di Lucca.
- Drive until you reach the Ponte a Moriano and take a left across the bridge.
- Head right and take the first left towards Mastiano, Gugliano and Villa Volpi.
