Villa Zuccari  

Upon arrival a member of the staff gave us a tour of the facilities and then showed us our rooms while making sure they were acceptable. The staff was good about giving us directions and recommending places to eat, The Villa was spacious with enormous rooms. The bathroom had both a large tub and a shower. There is a very large pool that can be used during the warmer months. The setting is very peaceful.

We were disappointed in the food in the restaurant. Although it was acceptable we expected more given the beautiful setting. The service was very good.

Beautiful hotel, wonderful location, and staff who really care and went out of their way to help us enjoy our stay. Having booked a superior double room we were upgraded on arrival to a suite, which was an additionbal bonus. The hotel is excellently located so it was easy to visit Montefalco and Spoleto, and then sample the local and excellent Sagrantino wines in the httel restaurant. We also found plenty of time to relax by, and swim in, the lovely pool in the grounds. Will we go back? Certainly.

Pretty and tastefully furnished Rooms. Breakfast was excellent and staff really friendly. Beautiful gardens and pool area and a large swimming pool.

Villa Zuccari is extremely elegant and classic. It has the most beautiful swimming pool surrounded by gorgeous rose gardens with formal fountains, statues and lovely views. A lavish breakfast with homemade breads is served on a covered terrace.

We liked everything. But the friendliness of the owner and the staff was unusual even by Italian standards. The driving directions to the villa (which is a bit out of the way) sent to us via email were clear and easy to follow. When we arrived, we asked to see the room and said that it would be really fine. But we were upgraded to a suite 'which isn't being used right now' at no extra charge! But what we most enjoyed was that staying at the villa itself was an interesting experience, whereas most hotels are a jumping off point to see something else. Go to enjoy the villa which dates to the 16th century and has been beautifully restored and remodeled.

Sfeer, behulpzaam en vriendelijk personeel. Ligging in Umbrië redelijk centraal (goede uitvalsbasis). Kamer was ruim, netjes en beschikte over een groot balkon. Fijn zwembad (met handdoekenservice) met voldoende ligbedden en parasols. Goed ontbijtbuffet en het eten in het restaurant 's-avonds prima (en goede wijnen)

Vriendelijk personeel,mooie omgeving, zalig zwembad. Oude villa met uitstraling en sfeer.Grote kamers en zeer groot bed. aanwezigheid van fietsen

internet te betalen bij een dergelijke prijsklasse mag het inbegrepen zijn.

Uitstekend hotel met vriendelelijk personeel.We kregen daarenboven upgrade naar luxe kamer. Uitstekende ligging in het hart van Umbrie.

De bijzondere, maar niet hinderlijke, klantgerichte opstelling van het personeel. De prachtige locatie, de ruime, goed gemeubileerde kamer met terras, de rustige omgeving, het goede ontbijt en de verse traditionele keuken.

Door zijn geïsoleerde ligging enigszins moeilijk te vinden.

la tranquilité ,la beauté et le charme du lieu;l'accueil trés professionnel mais aussi très chaleureux et personnalisé.Grande chambre spacieuse avec vue magnifique sur le jardin italien. ( mais nous avons été surclassés!!!! ).Excellent petit déjeuner (gâteaux régionnaux faits maison...charcuterie italienne...fruits frais...). Grande piscine très calme .

Les jardins de roses magnifiques, surtout autour de la piscine et le panorama fantastique depuis la terrasse de notre chambre. Le professionnalisme du personnel, surtout à la réception. L'accueil des propriétaires, la photo faite et offerte par le patron lors du dîner en terrasse, le surclassement offert gracieusement suite à une invasion de fourmis dans notre chambre...une atmosphère très conviviale et discrète à la fois, hôtel très calme et séjour reposant, plutôt rare en Italie.Les chambres sont bien insonorisées. Hôtel Très propre.

Les moustiques dès qu'on ouvre la fenêtre, ils sont même résistants à la climatisation. Un petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner pour un hôtel de cette catégorie : économie évidente avec produits peu chers, jus de fruits industriels, pâtisseries faites maison mais pas toujours appréciées au petit déjeuner, peu de fromages, une sorte de pain - sans sel -, fruits les moins chers ( pommes, bananes, oranges ) alors qu'on était en juin, saison du melon, des fraises et framboises. Pas d'aide pour les bagages à notre arrivée.
