Rafael was gracious and his home cooked dinner was fantastic! I loved staying there.
Very friendly proprietor who seemed to do everything including cooking the optional evening meal which was very good and cheap All rooms had been recently restored
Difficult to find off tangentially
The owner cooked us and the other couple staying a super evening meal. A wonderful typical Italian 3 course set menu of regional food (excitement in the anticipation of waiting to see what will be served). Excellent room, good sleep, good breakfast. Excellent value for money. No faults at all!
Charming villa on beautiful grounds. Owner very accommodating, even arranged for a 4 am taxi to airport and saw us off. Take the 10 minute walk into town, go left at intersection about 2 blocks for best pizza ever.
At first concerned about location when even the taxi driver didn't know where it was. But as soon as we went through the outside gates we knew we had something special here. Wish we had stayed longer.
Very comfortable stay, lovely host and great food, wine and limoncello. No problem finding the place using the directions and good connections to the centre.
This hotel is great not only for early starts from the airport, but for leaving the car safely parked and exploring Naples by public transport. The VisitNaples bus stops very close-by. The house is beautifully furnished/ finished and the host/chef is charming and accommodating.
Initially a little difficult to find. The terrace area needs a little more attention, otherwise a beautiful property.
Peaceful quit surrounds, with only about 5 to 6 rooms, very private and we had the opportunity to mingle with the other guests. Our room had a fridge with mini bar which suited our situation as we were only there one night prior to flying out and did not really want to leave the accomodation. We were also very impressed with the 3 course set menu meal we had for a reasonable rate. This accomodation was about a 10 - 15 min drive to airport in peak traffic. Our Host was very helpful.
Wifi was available but did not work in our room but was available in the common lounge. Wifi advertised to be available in all areas.
The rooms were well appointed, the terrace and grounds relaxing and the breakfast and dinner (extra) outstanding.
Difficult to find , even for the taxi drivers.
Good location to stay away from hustle and bustle of Naples, close to the airport. Good evening meal served
No window in room only skylight
Good room, comfy bed, great shower. Evening meal and wine also highly recommended.
Hard to find - coordinates 40 52 13.6N and 14 15 33.7E in your satnav should get you there.
Excellent evening meal Close to airport
Only velux window in bedroom Not easy to find
Friendly owner and good breakfast for an extra 5 euro per room. Also helpful in getting us a taxi the next morning.
Difficult to find. We had instructions written for us in Italian by the owner to give the taxi driver, but he still had difficulty finding it and had to stop and ask someone! Apparently it was not a registered company taxi, but an independent one, and he charged us too much.
Very nice staff, corteus, puntual, took good care of us.
Not easy to find as via Macedonia is mere a 2,5m wide path. The house is cosy and location is peacefull, a strong contrast to vibrant Naples. The host is polite and professional. The room (superior) nice and comfortable. Breakfast was enjoyable with sufficient selection of jams, eggs, juice, coffee and pastry.
We were expecting a great view from the room, but there were only a roof window. We were tired and slept like babies, but for a few day stay it might not be appropriate, and slightly claustrofobic.
Raphaele was a wonderful host, very obliging. Twice we overslept, missed breakfast; no problem. We got cheerful friendly service anyway. Nothing was too much trouble. On day one he drove us into town pointing out bus stops tourist attractions etc. Recommended places to see, things to do. Couldnt have asked for more.
Everything was wonderful.
Raffaele the manager and host was so kind and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. His beautiful villa is a hidden Gem in a very busy city. Breakfast and dinner were a delight. The rooms have a lovely rustic charm and we're very quiet. The Capodimonte museum is within easy walking distance and was an unexpected delight.
Proximity to airport Views over city Staff Setting within the walls of the villa
Area outside of the villa not pedestrian friendly - fine if you come via car although limited restaurants etc in local area
Location and facilities were great. Very good host. Internet good and parking good. Would readily return.
Hard to find, no swimming pool. A fair way from the village. Rooms on the road side may by noisy. Italian drivers/narrow coast road make transport difficult and it's a fair distance from Amalfi town but some nice villages within 15-20 minutes.
Spotlessly Clean room, attentive manager, Rafaelle, who was very kind and went the extra mile to make me comfortable. Location was lovely for those with a car who want peace and quiet and secure parking. Lovely garden and beautiful terrace. Wifi worked well.
Very welcoming hosts would thoroughly recommend :-)
Very nice setting with private gardens, very good dinners on their private terrace for a quite reasonable price (20 Euros) and good a/C. Away from the chaos of central Napoli. They offer a free shuttle to the metro connection.
Not handy for walking, a hike to a pizzeria was a foolish undertaking on a narrow road without sidewalks through a sketchy neighborhood. We found a bus back!
Everything: the crew, the room, the garden and the food.
Lovely couple run this place, couldn't have been more helpful. Baby friendly! The room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. We had dinner there which was delicious. Good breakfast. Great if you have a car, ample space. We only stayed one night as a stop over in the city to catch our plane.
Hotel was clean and breakfast was nice.
They will charge 30 Euros if you are not shown until 7 pm. About 60 % of late penalty out of 54 Euros of one night fee? it is too much! Wi-Fi is not connected in the room. No windows in the room. Airport might close to the hotel, you can see the airplane through the roof window with very large noise. And it block the 3G cell phone signal.
Great staff, great breakfast, spotlessly clean room and common areas. The place has clearly been renovated, maybe a little while ago, but it's very well kept. We got clear directions by email (GPS maps aren't very good out there), within an hour of our reservation, and again on the arrival date via text message... just in case. We were always greeted with a smile and friendly hello. All in all, a great place to come back to after every eventful day.
Naples can be... colorful.
