Easy bus ride into Florence Host was very helpful
Had to carry luggage from up the road to hotel Plumbing noisy
Nice basic accommodation, owner was very friendly and despite language barriers made a great effort to explain the transportation etc. Room was basic, no air conditioning but fan was adequate.
The owner was really nice, he didn't speak much english but he tried to do his best. He was very understanding when we arrived after check in hours.
Kind staff, even though they don't really speak English, they used google translate :) They were very friendly, and eager to help with anything. Had a nice small balcony, overlooking an inner garden. The neighbourhood is kind of quiet, except the noise from the nearby airport, but there are no flights during the night, so it's fine for sleeping. Bus stop to the city centre is 200 meters, the wifi is stable and fast, the place was clean, car parking is free and appeared to be safe. All in all, I think it does have a very nice value for the money, I would definitely stay there again.
The room was small, the wardrobes lacked shelves to put clothes on. There was no air conditioning, nor any soap or shower gels. The airport is very close, and the noise from the planes is _very_ loud - but the airport is not that busy, and for one, I think noise from street traffic would be much more irritating, so it wasn't that awful.
- Very nice and helpful owner. - Complete and clean facilities. - Easy access to Florence down town. - Free car parking
free parking. spacious room. price. owner friendly (when we saw him) great if you're in Florence for one night with a car. safe area. car felt secure.
no concierge service but for the price this is fair enough and we arrived a little late so maybe to be expected. toilet, shower and bidet, although very clean were all in the same small area.
Very friendly and helpful staff
Location, a bit far from the centre.
Great value for money. Owner was nice but doesn't really speak English, so use Google translator on his computer - problem solved!! lol Our room was large and clean, great bed! The shower was interesting as it had no cubicle and was in the middle of the room. Good shower but make sure your clothes out of the way of the spray! It has a laundry close by as well as was close to a great kebab shop and tavern. No parking at Villino Nada but free parking is available close by just down the road if needed. Easy walk to bus to Florence, which ran every 15 minutes or so, with a 20 minute ride into town. You have your own key to the front door as well as your room, so you can come and go as you please. Would definitely stay there again :o)
Owner was helpful and give us some good recommendations of place to eat in the neighborhood, better and cheaper than the expensive Firenze city centre. Neighborhood was quiet and safe.
They have a nice patio outside connected to our room in the lower floor, but it was used as a junk room. It'd be nice if they clean it to allow guests enjoy it. The hostel is in the outskirts and it's quite far, but the bus stop to Firenze station (around 30 min) is very close.
Friendly & very helpful staff (actually only 1)! Spacious rooms although very modest. Excellent value for money if you only need a space to sleep at night and spend the rest of your day out in the city - as what's expected of a tourist!
Cannot cook as there's no kitchen or even pantry. Quite far from the city's main attractions. No nearby restaurants/caffes.
Internet was fast, the room fairy clean, hot water works 24h.
all the rest
Good and simple connection to city center - with good guidance from the reception. Free parking near by, free internet.
The website gave no indication of how far it was from town or how to get there by public transport.
Staff doesn´t speak english. Very far from the old center. Very hard to find the hotel. Very small bathroom.
Price was excellent. If you just need a room to sleep in at a low price, this does the job. Easy to get into the centre of Florence by public transport and out onto motorways in self driving. Room was a good size. The Proprietor provided a lot of information regarding the area on arrival and was very helpful. Bakery and a tobacconist/general store one minute away.
Lack of restaurants in the area. I personally don't like wet rooms (i.e. shower without a cubicle or tray). Don't go here if you want to sleep in, it's on the final approach to the airport and planes start landing at 06.45.
Friendly owner. Although his English is very poor, he tries he's best to help: gives all directions with maps etc. Very quite district.
Quite far from the city centre. Hard to get a taxi. Only publis buses are available there. But to get to the down town, it takes about 20-30 minutes by bus. Taxi is about €20.
The room was large, no air conditioning but a fan. Handy to the bus and car park.
It was hard to find, a better sign at the end of the alley( private road) would be good. Only two towels, no hand towel or rails/hooks to hang them as they were not changed each day.
