The hotel staff was very kind and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable. We appreciated staying in this quiet neighborhood and commuting by water bus to Venice. |

The comfort as a whole in relation to the rate exceeded my expecations of which I had gathered before arriving to the hotel based on the reviews on this site among other sites. In contradiciton to one negative aspect the placing of a fan in our room made a great difference since there is no air condtioning existing in the hotel. There was a fridge in our room which also came to help. The night staff (one same guy) that was basicly based there all of the nights who had a very unprofessional and incompetent manner. His reception and way of running the hotel by the night was highly questionable whereas his assigned position by the hotel company management should be overlooked. Otherwise when it comes to the hotel itself another negative thing that is a huge problem specially because of the location of the hotel (Venice) in summer is of course the abscense of air condtioning which by the way already has been pointed out in the reviews here. Finally a third negative fact is that the shower porcelain was very old and rusty. It almost looked like dirt but was in fact wear. The balcony door couldn´t be closed properly. |

The location was very good and the size of the rooms were very good. Was like a traditional Venician looking building. Oldy-worldy but very clean and comfortable. |

lovely old building, nice to have breakfast in the garden area, staff very friendly and helpful, close to beach, quiet location but just a short walk from restaurants and bars, no air conditioning, also booked a triple room but was really only a double with an extra bed but the balcony overlooking the garden made up for the small room |

The hotel staff was very helpful. I had a lot of questions about getting around Venice & getting to the airport, and the desk staff always provided answers & even printed my boarding pass for the airline. The location was great! Right across the street from the beach, and a short stroll to restaurants and water taxis. It wasn't a big deal but I thought we would be getting a double bed, not 2 twins put together. Its difficult to snuggle when ur sliding in between the mattress, but my fiance loved it! He likes having his own defined space so I didn't ask to switch rooms (though they were so friendly they probably would have). If its a big deal for u, be specific when making your reservation. |

Personal an der Rezeption war behilflich und freundlich. Kein Licht im Flur, Zimmertüre musste im Dunkeln gesucht werden, die Zimmer- und Badezimmertemperatur war unzumutbar, da keinerlei Heizung vorhanden und das bei Außentemperaturen von 10 Grad am Nachmittag! Sauberkeit der Toilette war katastrophal, die Wasserleitung quietschte laut beim öffnen des Wasserhahns, warmes Wasser gab es auch nicht, der Wasserhahn war total verkalkt, so dass das Wasser nach allen Seiten herausspritzte. Diese Beschreibung trifft auf ein zweites Zimmer, das man uns auf unser Ersuchen angeboten hat, zu. Das erste möchte ich lieber gar nicht beschreiben. |

l'unico vantaggio era la posizione la scortesia, l'inefficienza dei servizi igienici, delle prese elettriche che producevano scossa elettrica, fili scoperti e posizionati nella stanza, frigo vuoto e non funzionante, lavandino rotto, fon non funzionante, ecc |

Die Nähe zum Strand. Der Strand ist nur 100 Meter entfernt und in der Hochsaison recht leer. Das Hotel Excelsior ist ca 300 Meter entfernt. Im Hotel Excelsior fidet jedes Jahr im September die Verleihung des goldenen Löwen statt. Der rote Teppich ist 100 Meter lang. |

Mycket vänlig och trevlig personal. Frukosten var bra, man kunde sitta och äta i den stora och fina frukostmatsalen eller i trädgården. Rummet var fint med ett fräscht badrum. Det var nära stranden vilket vi uppskattade då vi badade varje dag. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka hit. |
