Vip Venice Apartments  

Living like a Venetian. I would never furnish my own home this way but it is perfect to give you a feel for Venice. Great location. Good coffee. Spacious. Staff very accommodating- we changed our dates with little notice.

Lack of light, no towel rings or hooks in the smaller bathroom. Showers are adequate but Americans who are used to convenience won't like showering in a bathtub a hand held showerhead.

Ref - 2013-06-04 Fabulous apartment. Comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. The complimentary 'breakfast' was an unexpected bonus and much appreciated. Worth the price. Loved the clean white furnishings and cute but functional kitchen.

The electricity kept failing and needed constant visits to the electricity supply cupboard on ground floor. If you had more than one appliance switch on, all power failed. Very annoying!

Location was excellent, the apartment had everything you need.

Location superb, spacious, with excellent view from the rooftop patio of the camponile, clock tower, basilica and other roof tops...

Washing machine wasn't working and no iron? The 'free' trip to Murano is good but too long and the sales pressure a bit much.

Great location and very roomy. We are a family of 5 (3 kids) so this apartment was a welcome change 'size wise' to what we experienced elsewhere in Europe. We were able to walk to all major sites within 15 minutes from the apartment. Great restaurants nearby. Apartment also very secure with a doorman plus in our case no stairs to climb or lifts to catch.

Great location walk to sights, restaurants, supermarket, market. Lots of space for family including couches, table and chairs. Great view over smaller canal with own ponte. At night could hear the gondolas with musicians. Apartment decorated beautifully in a venetian style. Loved it.

Bed a bit hard for our liking.

Amazing location steps from San Marco piazza. Staff helpful with meeting us and grocery stores. Terrace lovely.

Appliances needed help. Had to manually light gas stove (had to buy own lighter, too). Dishwasher ineffective. Clothes washing machine ineffective. Wifi didn't work on terrace.

The location was 30 meters from st Marks square. It was a very modern very well decorated apartment. Perfect for a couple or 3-4 friends. I highly recommend if its in your budget. Nicer than I expected.

They have a charge of 50€ if you arrive after 7pm to get the keys. I wish that was more clear on the listing. They will not meet you after 23:00. The walls are a little thin. Bring some earplugs. After a day of running around the city you'll probably sleep through it all though.

- The appartment's location was extremely good (about 100m from Piazza San Marco) - Staff was very friendly. Excellent support at our arrival: somebody came at the vaporetto station to guide us to the appartment - Wifi weak, but free of charge

- Wifi is quite weak in most hotels visited in the past and this appartment is no exception. You just have to move in the rooms until you find a place where the network is acceptable.

Excellent location - clean comfortable and reasonably spacious for central Venice. Sandro met us promptly and was very friendly - advised of restaurants and sites to visit.

may be a little noisy as located on the main street - although this made it easy to find and was not a major problem

Location, location, location was great! Spacious for 6+ adults. Coffee tea small snacks were at the apt Late check out The 1st confirmation email was sent in minutes after making the reservation! The apt was exactly as the pic showed

Some furniture was a bit worn

Unique quiet location, awesome and spacious apartment. Well designed. Safe and secure. Self catering. Caretaker (Paula) was excellent and knowledgeable. Although please don't all go there as I want it to be vacant for my next visit!

The beds were rock hard.

We simply loved our apartment! It was like being part of the history of awesome Venice! This apartment was so enchanting and the facilities, met with all our requirements. I would love to go back one day.

The location, furniture, interesting architecture of the space on the 3 floors and the admirable terrace with a wonderful view on the all San Marco sights were great! Paola was very kind and helpful:)

A dishwasher doesn't function at all,except of 11 minutes rinse mode. There are no bottoms of other modes and the tablet of washing medium didn't dissolve in this regime. We had to wash dishes by hand. The is no lift,but it wasn't problem for us,young people.

The apartment was in a good location and the range of facilities in the apartment was quite good.

Check-in and communication about how to check-in was a shambles. The communal areas of the apartment were not very clean. Not all of the equipment worked e.g. kettle, dishwasher. It is advertised as accommodating 8 people but the sofa beds (for 4 of the people) are extremely uncomfortable for adults. There was not enough cutlery and some items of crockery for 8.

Central location, unique historical building accessed only be boat or bridge, generous size of the living space, modern interior with Art Deco touch for taste and convinces.

As expected, no front desk does make small things like printing a boarding pass difficult

Lots of space. Well equipped kitchen. Good location.

Very uncomfortable beds, no clothes dryer. Needed more t-towels, toilet paper and rubbish bags.

The location is amazing, right next to Piazza Sam Marco. The facilities are great, everything in working order. VIP Venice are excellent hosts, we called prior to arrival and they met us at the ferry terminal to direct us to the apartment.

There is some noise from the streets of a night so be prepared to put up with it, with a location like this it has to be expected. The beds are not very comfortable.

Excellent location right at St Marco square. Use Rialto waterbus station when leaving to the train station. Excellent welcoming. Clean and tidy. Excellent fast internet. We will be going there again 100%

1. Water boiler for showering was small for a family of four. 2. we asked for smoking however we had to stand downstairs on the street to smoke although the picture of San Marco 1 Bedroom appartement had a balcony where we thought we could smoke. 3. I sms'd the owner twice while there but never got a response however it.was christmas day which is totally understandable. in all this was a magneficent place to stay at in Venice. We recommend it and will book there again no doubt.

Its a service apartment with no counter service so you need to be self sufficient and find out all the day you check in.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Large, finely decorated spaces combined with high ceilings and profound sense of luxury and nobility. Amazing location in centre Venice. All amenities in full working order make for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. No reason to even think about staying in a hotel if more than 2 persons. If I was to live in Venice, I would choose this as a permanent residence without second thought.
