Really cannot knock this hotel at all!! Staff were extremely helpful and polite, location was perfect, situated in a lovely area, neighbouring many bars and restaurants and is within walkable distances of most attractions. Me and my partner walked back from stadio olimpico in under 45 minutes, and enjoyed a delightful stroll to the colliseum in around 30/45 minutes. Vatican City a mere 10 minute walk from Visconti, would definitely recommend this hotel. Tony, London
The hotel is well situated - within walking distance to most attractions/sites. Not in the middle of town thus avoiding the rush and traffic noise, etc.
No coffee making facilities. Free wifi only for 24 hours??
- very tasty breakfast. - Near to Vatican. - Near to many restaurants.
Very close to the main attractions. Nice room, friendly stuff, excellent breakfast. The bus to the airport right around the corner, just 7€ one way.I would always stay there again.
nothing. It was great.
We came back to the Visconti Palace after 4 days in Pompeii and our second visit was even better then the first. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful; the breakfasts are delicious with a great variety of food. Rooms and beds are really comfortable. The hotel has lovely atmosphere and is a great base from which to explore Rome.
Location was perfect, we never needed to take public transportation and walked everywhere. Bus stop to airport is four minutes from hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is very clean. Breakfast is splendid (ask for cappuccini)!
Small detail: Free Wifi works only for one day; from the second day onwards they will give you a special code. As we weren't told, we were Wifi-less for a day, which was no real problem.
Staff are so helpfull and kind
The bed was very bad
The staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke very good English. Most of the main tourist attractions were 10/15 mins walk away (coliseum 35 Mins) most restaurants were reasonably priced if you looked hard enough. weather was great, so overall very enjoyable.
The food and wine in the hotel was expensive.
The Hotel was very welcoming and All the staff very helpful. The resturant was very good and the lounge bar was extremely friendly. The musicians were excellent and absolutely first class and very welcoming and hospitable. We would certainly return to the Hotel on our next visit to Rome. Location was excellent.
Location is good, breakfast has many options, very friendly staff.
Carpets need replacement and too warm the bedroom
The location is in residential area and in 20 mins walk to historic center. The metro stop Lepanto is 3 blocks away. The shuttle bus stop from airport is 200mts, super close. The hotel is very good value for money, clean, excellent breakfast. We were there for about 8 days and everything was fine all days.
The bedroom can be a bit too hot if ventilation is on. Just switch off and open windows for short while to cool down.
Good location. Close to Vantican and metro.
We asked for a queen bed in the booking but they gave us two single beds.
GREAT STAFF BREAKFAST AND LOCATION ITS TRUE ITS JUST 10 MINUTES WALK TO THE VATICAN VERY FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF
I LIKED IT ALL
Big room, many good channels on tv.
No resturant, okay breakfeast.
It is well located, near all great monuments but, at the same time, it is slightly away from the rush which is good of you want to rest also.
I decided to take my wife on a second honeymoon after 16 years of marriage and three kids later. We chose the Visconti Palace for a three night stay. We couldn't have made a better choice. Perfect location, great facilities and a wonderful room. The staff were very polite and the included breakfast excellent. We would gladly stay here again and return with our children.
I cannot think of anything we didn't like. Everything was perfect.
Room and hotel is clean and beautiful Staffs are friendly and professional No care about tip Good breakfast included
Has tea but no kettle or hot water in room No room cleaning even when being asked by customer No noise protection and we could not sleep in some night because of the noise from the adjacent rooms 2 single beds for a family of 2 parents and 1 baby
The room. The breakfast. The location.
Great location. The staff was always very friendly and professional. The breakfast was abundant and delicious. Will definitely stay here on our next visit.
Good quiet location, easy walking to most sights. Reasonable priced restaurants in this area. Excellent breakfast.
We've had to stay in Modena after a long dinner. We've picked this hitel from booking and it was a good choice. Nice decoration, clean rooms. Great for business.
Breakfast is poor for an Italian restaurant. Coffee from Nescafe in Italy???! Plase modify on this!
Very kind and helpful people at the front desk Nice clean rooms
thin walls, noise came through from the neigbouhood room the quality of the breakfast could have been better. Very wide selection, but not a 4 star quality. The orange juice from the machine was made of syrup, but not orange, too many sweets but less vegetables. The coffee was also average but no proper coffee machine.
+ proximity to all major attractions, most of them easily doable by walking + Metro Station close by (7-10 min) + Vatican super close (10 min) + bus stop close by (2 min) + rich breakfast buffet + friendly staff giving good recommendations
- Roof top bar wasn't open, would have loved to enjoy the view described on the website
Location and friendliness of staff, bed was comfortable but cushion too soft and too low, room was also a little stuffy it could also do with Tea and Coffee making facilities in the rooms.
Shower, water would turn cold and then hot without adjusting the tap, cushions were too soft.
The location was within walking distance for all the main places of interest, the hotel was very good ,and the breakfast spread was very goodalso.
There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room but they were mean with the little pots of milk.lol.
