Hotel Vittoria  

We arrived with big suitcases, porter opened door for us and took the luggage to our room. Very friendly front desk lady, gave us a map and showed us locations for beaching and for dinner later. Breakfast with huge selection of savoury and sweet food. Room a bit old looking but very nice and clean. I would definetly recommend the hotel. Beach 3 minutes, oldtown 5 minutes with restaurants and shops. Bus stops from and to Trapani Airport about 500-600 meters from hotel (€4.50 one way).

The cleanliness is impeccable, everywhere is spic and span. Rooms are cleaned everyday. The champagne on our arrival was a lovely surprise, and we also liked the chocolates on our bedside everyday. The cot for our child was new and clean with mosquito net, and they also provided us with a kettle so I could make my son his milk. The breakfast was excellent, very bountiful indeed. I would like to suggest though to provide brown and wholemeal bread cos selection is only white, and maybe some salad for vegetarians. We enjoyed our stay very much and would return again. I recommend it highly!

Everything about the hotel was as I expected thanks to the reviews I had read...the friendliness of the staff,the ample breakfast, the lovely clean white sheets and towels,a room with a sea view. The hotel is easy to find and has ample parking facilities across the road. There is a fast food eating place in the piazza which is open till the early hours of the morning. It was impossible to find a restaurant open in the aftermoon and late evening. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

I wish there were tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. I dont know if other Italian hotels have them. I should have asked for a non smoking room because our room had a strong smell of cigarettes on the first night. It cleared after we left the window open for a whole day. The hotel does not have a restaurant.

One of the worst beds I have ever slept in. Very uncomfortable.

Staff was excellent.

Easy to approach from the railway/bus station as well from the airport. Easy to get out straight to the strand street (lungomare) and the old town. Free computer to use net in a cosy place. A good buffet breakfast. Good cleaners in the room.

I escape from Finland from the noicy sounds of the renovation in my apartment for many months to relax in Sicily. During my visit of 3 weeks in Hotel Vittoria in Trapani they started to make a renovation with lots of noice and dust all over (lift, corridors, entrance). There was a view to the sea from my room, but I was shocked about the large parking place in front of the hotel. The walls between the rooms were thin. So voices and noice from other rooms. The staff should have inform me in the beginning of the renovation to move away to a more peaceful place/town in Sicily for the rest of my holiday to relax properly. They did not even regret the renovation. Just a saying, it will be a big project now when the hotel is not so occupied.

Fantastic good value for money!

The hotel personnel was very friendly and the room was exceptionally clean. Thank you especially for the cleaning personnel! The location was excellent and the breafast buffet very good. I can recommend this hotel!

It would make having breakfast more comfortable if one could have a pot of coffee in every table or per person because now you had to ask for every cup of coffee separately. Also, it would be nice if the reception personnel would make more effort to find out answers to your questions about opening times, tourist seight-seing tours etc. instead of saying "please go and check in the tourist information". It would have been easy for them to find out in advance these issues or just to make a phone call to check.A Good idea would be to keep an information booklet in the lobby which would contain all this information.

When arriving by car it is very convinient with the big free parking close to the hotel. The staff was very pleasent and helped us a lot with tips of restaurants and sightseeing. The breakfast was nice. The room was very well cleaned.

The shower had no hand shower. Small toilet room.

The lobby and the breakfast area is beautiful. Many English newspapers available in the lobby. A bottle of good sparkling wine was a courtesy of the hotel. The espresso coffees were good.

The temperature of the hot water of the shower was only ca. 38 C. Must be 55 c, not 38 C. Have they ever heard about the legionella risk on such low-temperature water systems. The noises of the corridors were easily heard through the uninsulated door. Some members of the hotel staff were negligent, E.G. the emergency stairs were partially blocked with cleaners' equipment, E.g buckets, chemical bottles and brushes. That is illegal and also dangerous in case of fire. There is no self- service of coffee, so you had sometimes wait too long for a refill.

The hotel is situated close to the bus & train stations and also close to Trapani walking street. Breakfast was good with a lot of delicious pastries. We had an early flight home, the staff brought us breakfast to the room the night before.

Nothing at all. Only positive? The area to park the car for free in front of the hotel.

Old, dirty, the breakfast...never recomend this hotel to anyone.

Nice and spotles clean. Close to both beach and the citycenter. Not in the center so you dont get disturbed by the noice or the traffic, but close. Perfect for us!

A bit "thin walls" you hear a lot of noice from the pipes and other rooms.
