when we got there we saw a tipp on the wall, and it lead us to another address. Staff there said the hostel had "gas problems" so we had to walk almost 30min to another hostel. They didn't remind me in advance!
Good advice from the staff and the perfect location
Dirty bathroom (overflooded) Dirty walls (dead Mosquitos everywhere on the walls) So to conclude a bit expensive!
very cosy, feel at home. no room keys needed but safe as the its like a studio. I believe I was in a female dorm. they do try to separate the male and female. The bathroom are acceptable.
the signage of the hostel was too small but i found it eventually. the passage into the building was always dark and you need to ring the gate to get to the second floor. However, good point is it adds to the security.
Nice staff and location, easy to find from train station. And not too far from attractions.
Wifi may not work if too many people are use it. Only 3 WC, so might have to wait if others is use it, I saw two WC near the room, one is clearly, the other is not. And we don't have toilet paper in morning.
the staff is very friendly, and helpful.
the shower water is very small
Staff guy- spaniard Clean place
No elevator. Entrance of hostel.
Location near to pisa centrale train station
Hot shower not really functioning
It was close enough to the tower and the city centre. The staff was friendly and the rooms were good as well.
They were still cleaning when I arrived at 1:30pm, I know check in is technically at 2:00 but it kinda gives a bad impression when people are scrambling around when you first arrive.
Location can't be beat, staff were super friendly, and the rooms were HUGE (though the lockers won't fit most luggage).
Wifi was patchy but that could just be because of the rains & bad weather. Bathrooms were nice & big, but the people:bathroom ratio was a little skewed at times, necessitating long waits.
Staffs are friendly
The staff was wonderful and it's a great location. Easy walk to the train station and close to everything you want to do in this fun city.
the location is excellent and very convenient for traveling by train. Common spaces are very usefull to meet new people, ... it is lovely to get to talk to other travelers while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea offered by the hostel. The staff was great with us and extremely helpful.
There is a place to prepare food but not really much to cook on (just a microwave).. it could be an improvement.
great location,friendly staff and atmosphere
lots of mosquitos in the room, some alive and some dead on the walls! the bathroom could be cleaned more often, a lot of water on the floor after showering. no payment with credit card
Location is good, and the staff is friendly.
Not easy to find, and one of the bathrooms was too small and the water is not heated enough.
We liked the closeness to the attractions and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very accommodating!
We were put in the other building as we had asked for a double room not a dorm. Which was not an issue but the extra decoration of splattered Mosquitoes was not a pretty sight. Didn't ruin our time, just wasn't very nice.
Waking Street Hostel is located in central Pisa with a lot of nice fast food restaurants and shops nearby. It is a few minutes walk from the Pisa railway station and the tower of Pisa. Wi-Fi is available.
The bathrooms were not the best, but were acceptable. There was not much food available for breakfast at the hostel.
The stuff are friendly and nice.Providing lots of useful information. The wifi speed is good in the hostel. And the location is perfect, especially for those who love shopping. You can also walk to Pisa Tower within 15minutes.
Pisa has only a few places for visiting(better said only the tower is worth visiting),so if you plan to stay in Pisa for more than a night, go to visit Lucca or Cinque Terre by train.Only thing that I can complaint about this hostel is the poor sound insulation.During the midnight you can hear some "sportscast"..., could be a benefit for some people.
Great staff, great people, comfortable beds, and an open kitchen! Besides, it's super easy to find, and Pisa is just beautiful.
The showers. I had a little trouble to take showers.
Great atmosphere and really helpful and friendly staff. Fantastic location. The only thing that let this place down was the cleanliness.
The shower was covered in mould, leaked everywhere, and was tiny.
The personel was very friendly and the hotel was just in the centre.
The room was so cold and the heating was not effective.
It was in a great location right in the center of downtown Pisa. It's easy to walk anywhere in town. The staff was friendly and explained everything clearly. Our room was neat and clean as was the rest of the building.
I really have no major complaints.
friendly staff, good atmosphere
Locations is great. 8 min walk from train station and 15 min walk to the leaning tower of stupid photos.
There were no lights in the hallways and almost fell down the stairs and killed my self. There is contraction going on and right outside our door it was open air. Room needs fixing for example the shower handle came right off in our hands. Also we couldn't get wifi in our room despite claims that we could. We had a private room for a couple (the private rooms are lofts with the bed on a platform on a 2nd level up stairs above the main floor).
Good central location for train station and leaning tower Close to shops/restaurants
Could use better signage outside to find it Intercom at front door had poor reception
