Walter is very friendly.
Nothing is clean
It was a comfortable stay and the staff was really nice and accommodating. It's a good stay for a few days, if you are not spending too much time in the room.
The location was good however at night it might feel unsafe thou nothing really happened.
The location is indeed very good - in case you need to stay overnight nearby Termini train station.
I was highly surprised with the staff's behavior. They were rude, highly impolite, I've been brought to another guest house without being warned in advance, where there was no internet or any decent conditions. I came late, with luggage, after an intercontinental flight and I've been told (in a rude manner) that I shall have only as much as I can carry. No receipt has been given and when I asked for one, I've been told "You want receipt? Go to reception", suggesting that I shall walk a couple of streets at night in Rome in next-to-train-station area.
The room was clean and well located
The breakfast was non existent and the landlords didn't care about it. Rotten oranges, moldy bread, disgusting coffee, etc. We had to buy everything ourselves and even then our stuff got eaten by other people !!!! The landlords didn't care and were not nice at all with the customers once the rent was paid !! We do not recommend this establishment, even if it was a good price, in the end we paid our breakfast ourselves and were not treated respectfully. Other customers complained too and wanted a refund !!!!
Good location. Within walking distance to the Coloseum and attractions near there. Metro is on the street corner. Nice big room. Air con, which is needed in summer. Free breakfast, even though its basic. Nice friendly staff.
Hard to find, its in a apartment block and no sign on the street you have to literally read the tenant list on the wall and buzz in. We walked right past it. The breakfast area/entrance is a bit cramp.
Friendly staff Comfortable single beds Coffee machine/orange juicer Clean bedrooms/bathroom
Internet connection was lost frequently Location made me feel uncomfortable to walk at nights
Great location. Friendly assistant,
Breakfast was not fantastic. Just bread you can see in a cheep shop.
the staff is really gentle and friendly, they are always aware ofyour needs.
I think that they have to increase the cleaning and presentation of the rooms and place
This place is good for staying when you go around the city the whole day and just need the place to spend a night.
When I arrived late in the evening (whithout any phone call!!) peolpe met me immidiately and took to my bed. Thank you, it's really realible people! There is everything what is necessary!
Good conditions for such price in the center of the city!
Not the best experience. Nothing I can say I really liked.
The staff was unprofessional. I did not feel safe.
the staffs are very friendly and they clean the room every day :)
the pillow is too stiff. There was no clear sign stating the guest house name outside the building (difficult to spot)
Location was not too bad. The metro was only down the street and termini is only a stop away.
I was there for 3 days and the wifi was down the entire time making it hard for me to do research about rome. Breakfast was just packets of bread and hot water was limited cause they were using a coffee machine.
the owner was amazing! he offered us to use his refrigerator and the location was perfect! 5 min walking from termini and 20 min walking from the centre.
The fact that it was very centric. The Roman Colosseum, the Roman Forum and nice restaurants were only a 10 minute walk away. The owner of the place was very nice, courteous, cool and multilingual. For the price you pay you get a very good service. Also you get wifi in your room.
Nothing bothered me really. If I went back to Rome and were looking for a clean, centric and cheap place to stay, I would stay there again.
Very helpful and where very friendly staff
You cant expect an excellent comfort stay, considering the value of money you paid for. Fair enough since my budget was limited, and I was cool with just a bed space to sleep for the night.
Staff were friendly and quite helpful. The room at Star Rooms we stayed is spacious (the one next to us, 2-bed room, is tiny there is no window, take a note if you book). Hot water is good (which is important as we stayed during May and it's cold for us) The place is close to Roma Termini and a underground station, quite convenient.
Almost no natural light in the room. There's big window but loud noise comes from the street if it's open. The rule is that no use of kitchen, internet, etc in common room after 10h30, however, the staff stayed and cooked until near mid night. Breakfast is too basic, I couldn't eat. Internet connection is very poor in our own room. The room is on 2nd floor without lift.
It was within walking distance of the Terimini station and just up the street from a metro stop. Also within walking distance of the Colosseum.
My room was right next to the reception area and if a person was in that area talking it could be plainly heard in the room. One night there was a woman talking on the phone to her friends at 2:30 in the morning. The offered breakfast is just packaged food. I found it better to just go downstairs to the cafe next door
Central location. Comparing to other places in Rome good price. Go there just if you are looking for a place where to sleep and leave baggage (no valuables) and if you don't mind hearing staff talking while having dinner until 11pm. As I said if you are planning to visit Rome and being out as much as possible then this is a good place.
uncomfortable beds, poor breakfast, not able to cook/eat there and not a very clean hostel.
Friendly staff, good location, clean room.
Breakfast pretty basic. The address given by booking .com was not the main entry, so wasted time looking in the wrong street. You need to go to via Napoleon.
Wifi didn't work in our room. Breakfast was only from 7-9:30 AM, which is way too early.
Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Trying to find the place was a bit difficult since it is in a residential building.
Good location, but the facilities weren't so good
It wasn't particularly clean
