Hotel Weber Ambassador  

We stayed at 5 hotels in Italy during out 2-1/2 week trip. All hotels were excellent, but Hotel Weber Ambassador was exceptional. The staff was fantastic, helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The location was overlooking Marina Piccolo, which for the uninitiated, is the most beautiful part of the Island. The free 5-minute shuttle to town was frequent, reliable, and easy, and it allowed the best of both worlds. Seaside views and access and easy access to town. While there may be other outstanding places on Capri, my wife and I can't imagine staying anywhere else

Our other hotels had a free breakfast. The Hotel Weber was not free, but it was absolutely outstanding, and probably the best breakfast of any of the 5 hotels we used during our trip. It wasn't bad for just the two of us, but it might put off a family of travelers.

It is an Excellent Hotel.... Superrrrrrrrrrr Loacation..... I think no other hotel can beat the location of Weber Ambassador in Capri. A true 4 Star Hotel!!! As soon as we landed the Capri port, we called the hotel for the shuttle service to the hotel and the hotel car was there within 10 - 15 mins. The chauffer took our entire luggage and arranged in the car… Which was nice. The fee for the shuttle is 4 euro per person. Once we reached the hotel, we were greeted with a welcome drink. Then we requested if a sea-view room was available rather than a standard room, as the view from the hotel is the best. They showed us both the rooms standard and sea-view and we selected the sea-view by paying bit of extra money. The standard room is not great. I would suggest all the travellers to book the sea-view room. The extra money is surely worth. The in-house restaurant & bar is great... reasonably priced (Not Expensive) compared to other restaurants in Capri Centre.... as we are vegan... we had less choices but good taste of the food. Be careful about the restaurants in Capri Centre as many of the restaurants charge Cover Charge (3 euro per person) for using the table of the restaurant & Plus Service Tax... which is Ridiculous!!! The shuttle from hotel to Capri centre is free till 2am, which is a very big plus point. The Hotel and Capri centre is hardly 3 - 4 min beautiful drive. The Beach near the hotel is beautiful.... small but clean blue / green water. We will like to visit Capri again and will surely stay in the Weber. Travellers Do Visit Capri & Stay In This Hotel..... Excellent Place to be!!!

The negative point are: - 1) Small TV 2) Mosquitios were there on the door of our room. Only ur room had that problem.... :( 3) Room Service Charges were not mentioned on the menu provided by the hotel. Which is 5 Euro.

The view and staff are exeptional. Rooms are very big and comfortable. The shuttle every 10 minutes is SUCH a bonus. Close to the beach.Loved our stay.

We never had really warm water and the shower was in the bath. Be alert that breakfast is not included in the bookings.com price and gets charged additionally.

The close proximity to the ocean. The fabulous view. The gorgeous balcony and room. The breakfast was the best we had in all 3 weeks of traveling through Europe. The complimentary shuttle was also very convenient.

The beds could of been of higher quality.

Excellent location, great service, good facilities, near to the centre, the room was big and all the time tidy. I wouln'd exitate to book with them again, 100% reccomended I will definitely go back. .

Beautifully located against the cliffs with a marvelous view over the Marina Piccola bay. Free transfer to the village and back almost every half hour, but I would recommend the walk along the Krupp path. Very friendly staff.

A hotel with this standard (and rates) should provide free internet access. The hotel has no private beach, public beaches are very small, crowded and dirty. There is no swimming pool for kids that can't swim, small pool is at least one meter deep.

Beautiful location with fantastic rooms and grounds. Phenomenal staff who truly goes out of their way to help in any way they can!!! Have stayed there twice now and will return again for sure.

This hotel was in an excellent location, the staff were helpful and wonderful. The restaurant food was great and inexpensive. We felt very pampered. They provided a free shuttle to and from the town center about every 20 minutes.

No complaints. We loved it.

Locatoin - Overlooking the ocean,the silence except for the sound of the sea crashing in to the rocks at night time made our stay very relaxing

Restaurant food was not quite the up to scratch

Views were lovely. Breakfast was above average. Prices of associated restaurants and mini bar etc were very reasonable.

Paper thin walls, sewerage smell emanating from the bidet, service was similar to what you'd expect at a 2 star (although it is an italian 4 star!) and the hotel's associated restaurant in town and onsite restaurant were cheap but produced tourist garbage food.

Almost everything just hits the spot. Location is wonderful, a stark change from a central or port located hotel. Varied breakfast selection till 10:30am A Shuttle Service until 02:00 to from town and the main port. Marina Piccola from the door step a powerful morning view. It has 2 Pools and Spa and an Indoor Gym available. Bar service and poolside service with guest towels for beach and pool use. Scooter drop off service at the hotel and a sister restaurant just off the main Piazzetta. What more could anyone ask for. Well perhaps a softer mattress. This is the 4th Capri based hotel we have used on the island and currently we consider it the best so far. We will happily use this hotel again Grazie mille Weber! The Simpsons

The bed was a little hard on the hips for me personally. Many families start early so the noise can be disturbing in the lower rooms below the ramp as everyone travels up for breakfast to the terrace and down to the beach.
