Hotel Weber Ambassador  

We stayed at 5 hotels in Italy during out 2-1/2 week trip. All hotels were excellent, but Hotel Weber Ambassador was exceptional. The staff was fantastic, helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The location was overlooking Marina Piccolo, which for the uninitiated, is the most beautiful part of the Island. The free 5-minute shuttle to town was frequent, reliable, and easy, and it allowed the best of both worlds. Seaside views and access and easy access to town. While there may be other outstanding places on Capri, my wife and I can't imagine staying anywhere else

Our other hotels had a free breakfast. The Hotel Weber was not free, but it was absolutely outstanding, and probably the best breakfast of any of the 5 hotels we used during our trip. It wasn't bad for just the two of us, but it might put off a family of travelers.

Nothing to fault it - staff was friendly and efficient - they ran a very good shuttle bus to Capri Town from the hotel all day which was very convenient. Also- being a four star I expected the hotel restaurant to be expensive but it was cheaper than alternatives that we had visited earlier in the week,

Shuttle service was very convenient.

Pool was closed. Public beach area was dirty and small.

Marvellous stay at the Hotel Weber Ambassador. Very efficient shuttle to Capri city. Amazing breakfast buffet. Best location in Capri (Marina Piccoli).

Free shuttle to the Piazza Piazzeta. It's very neccessary opportunity becouse you can't walk from the hotel to piazzeta. Our room had a great terrase with a sea view. They treated us a glass of prosecco for welcoming, it was really a polished manner.

The staff was very friendly. This was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The location was excellent too. There was a regular free shuttle service to the main town which was very convenient, and there was free car parking too.

The only downside was that breakfast was not included

Our first stop in Italy at the start of a 2 week trip. We loved this hotel. Nothing was too much for the lovely staff. Beautiful location and extremely convenient with the hotel's frequent shuttles to get you in to Capri town. We had lunch in the restaurant shortly after arriving and were delighted with the quality as well as our seats on the balcony looking at the sea, beach and enjoying the sun. The music was a fun loop of Dean Martin (and other) songs which really got us in the Capri / Amalfi coast mood. Both our 17 year old and our 8 year old were sad to leave. The teenager was annoyed he hadn't been able to use the little gym.

Room, although lovely was a bit small. Fine for one night but get a larger room if staying a few nights.

Locatoin - Overlooking the ocean,the silence except for the sound of the sea crashing in to the rocks at night time made our stay very relaxing

Restaurant food was not quite the up to scratch

The close proximity to the ocean. The fabulous view. The gorgeous balcony and room. The breakfast was the best we had in all 3 weeks of traveling through Europe. The complimentary shuttle was also very convenient.

The beds could of been of higher quality.

Excellent location, great service, good facilities, near to the centre, the room was big and all the time tidy. I wouln'd exitate to book with them again, 100% reccomended I will definitely go back. .

It is an Excellent Hotel.... Superrrrrrrrrrr Loacation..... I think no other hotel can beat the location of Weber Ambassador in Capri. A true 4 Star Hotel!!! As soon as we landed the Capri port, we called the hotel for the shuttle service to the hotel and the hotel car was there within 10 - 15 mins. The chauffer took our entire luggage and arranged in the car… Which was nice. The fee for the shuttle is 4 euro per person. Once we reached the hotel, we were greeted with a welcome drink. Then we requested if a sea-view room was available rather than a standard room, as the view from the hotel is the best. They showed us both the rooms standard and sea-view and we selected the sea-view by paying bit of extra money. The standard room is not great. I would suggest all the travellers to book the sea-view room. The extra money is surely worth. The in-house restaurant & bar is great... reasonably priced (Not Expensive) compared to other restaurants in Capri Centre.... as we are vegan... we had less choices but good taste of the food. Be careful about the restaurants in Capri Centre as many of the restaurants charge Cover Charge (3 euro per person) for using the table of the restaurant & Plus Service Tax... which is Ridiculous!!! The shuttle from hotel to Capri centre is free till 2am, which is a very big plus point. The Hotel and Capri centre is hardly 3 - 4 min beautiful drive. The Beach near the hotel is beautiful.... small but clean blue / green water. We will like to visit Capri again and will surely stay in the Weber. Travellers Do Visit Capri & Stay In This Hotel..... Excellent Place to be!!!

The negative point are: - 1) Small TV 2) Mosquitios were there on the door of our room. Only ur room had that problem.... :( 3) Room Service Charges were not mentioned on the menu provided by the hotel. Which is 5 Euro.

The hotel was great & staff were lovely,LOCATION unreal!!! Our booking was last minute though and hotel was at capacity, our room didn't have any views apart from a brick wall and the ac didn't work very well. Would definitely stay here again though but would pay the extra for sea views as you couldn't get a better a better spot!!
