Hotel Weber Ambassador

All staff were friendly and very helpful. The view from our room was incredible (deluxe double sea front). The shuttle to the center of Capri was excellent. The location was nice and quiet, away from the center for a great relaxing time.

As stated before, to be a four star, one would expect better towels and toiletries. The furnishings in the room were quite basic. The shower design allowed water to splash and leak into and outside of the bathroom- dangerous with marble floors. Our safe was broken and the door lock was difficult to operate, resulting in a broken key. These things, however, did not dampen our experience.

hotel staff were only ok, were put into grotty room first night beside gas cylinders which were leaking and we could clearly smell the gas. 2nd night changed to room which we initially ordered. Most staff very surly and the only ones we could recommend were the shuttle drivers.

Hotel staff treated us as if we were not welcomed when we went down for breakfast. Felt like an inconvenience. Rooms are not small but loud and you can hear people from other rooms.

the room had a certain smell to it.... sort of like a bathroom and the water wasn't always hot in the shower

i have stayed here before we came back with some friends and really enjoyed staying there! its a fair price for the location and quality the shuttle bus is a great idea.

The location, the view, friendly staff

The beautiful new pool on the internet is only in construction at the site. There is space only for a few guests at the old pool. Access to the beach (sea) is public access, million people, cleanliness is very poor...

The location is excellent if you are happy to be away from the centre. The views from the upper rooms are as good as you will find anywhere in the world.

it is a shame, but the hotel just lets itself down a bit in professionalism and service. Breakfast is a bit 3 star. Avoid the top floor if you can as a washing machine on the roof makes noises through the night.

The friendly and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. The spectacular location couldn't be beaten. The regular shuttle bus means getting about the island is easy and you can be in Capri town in minutes.

I do not think they should charge for the trip to the hotel and back down to the port, should be part of price

The shuttle bus was excellent and the drivers were most helpful and their service was great. Check in staff were excellent too most kind and the room was beautiful and cleaning staff excellent. Room view was fantastic.

The breakfast hot food was cold, even though it was kept in a warmer it was cold each day of the 5 days we stayed, no attempt to heat the plates for the hot food either. Coffee was shocking. Some of the dining room staff were very abrupt even taking into account the language difficulty.They just stood there and made no attempt to clear away our used dishes as we dined, they just let them pile up
