Hotel Windrose  

Good location. Very close to Termini station and metro stop. A couple of blocks away from Republica square, 20 mn walk from forum.

The breakfast, definitively (Fruit juices are more or less water with... something !) I would advise to go to the closest bar on the way to Termini and have a real coffee and croissant. No wifi conection in rooms (However, ethernet cables are available on request at the reception).

The staff were amazing. Everyone was hard working and obliging. The reception were very helpful and allowed us to check in a day in advance as well as put a roll away bed in our family room for 4 at an extra 15 euros. It was a tight cramp but teenagers cope well. The hotel is very well positioned and we could walk with our luggage there. Spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families and there is a cheap restaurant, La Famiglia, ocross the road to appease the appetites of young people.

As in all Italian hotels there is no facility to make coffee.

Nice and quiet. Nice rooms. Close to til public transport. The staff is good in english.

The breakfast room is to small and uncomfortable, and is the only reson for us to chose an other hotel next time.

The atmosphere was friendly. The staff at the reception and at the breakfast was helpful. The location of the hotel is convienient, its 2- 3mins away from stazione Termini (Metro and train station) but at night its better to use the metro station Republica because it feels safer. You can also walk to the main tourist attractions. The room was nice and fitted our needs, and there was always hot water at the shower.

The breakfast buffet is rather small but you can order any kind of coffee you want. The street in front of the hotel was quite but inside the room you could hear noises for the corridor.

Good location near train terminal, very helpful staff!

The staff at the reception are very nice and helpfull, the breakfast was included in room price, ok comfort for a resonable price and close to trainstation.

The carpet is not washed in years which for my friend who is suffering from allergies showed to be quite a challenge, overall feeling of the room was that it was not so clean and we were freezing during the evening, luckily there were extra blankets. The staff at the breakfast where not so friendly but it's tolerable if it's included in the hotel price. Area is not the best and the entrance of the closest metrostation smells very bad of urine. Not the fault of the hotel of course but adds up badly to the total picture.

As it was only a quick stopover. We found it close to transport and shopping facilities. The staff was very efficient and helpful. Close to cafes also. It is hard to judge a place when you stay is short. The hotel was very clean and comfortable.

Easy access to city of Rome and termini rail station. Good family restaurants close by.
