Score from 3673 reviews Very good
EXE Domus Aurea is next to ancient Roman ruins and the Church of Santa Maria degli Angeli. A generous American buffet is served daily on the roof terrace overlooking the Terme di Diocleziano.
Score from 721 reviews Very good
Hotel Adriano is in an elegant 17th-century building in central Rome, a 5 minute walk from the Pantheon and the shopping street Via Del Corso. Rooms are stylish and air-conditioned.
Score from 1046 reviews Very good
Hotel Piemonte is only 300 yards from Roma Termini Train and Metro Station, featuring direct services to the Vatican Museums and Fiumicino Airport.
Score from 748 reviews Good
center location, easy to access from and to airport with one bus (x95), inexpensive with reasonable facility quality, staff was 5 star (very friendly).
The hotel is very close to Termini station and several restaurants.
Love this hotel. Close to train, lots of eating places, supermarket close. Its clean comfortable with attention to detail. Great breakfast
We had a nice comfortable room, with a balcony. We liked the location, as it is very close to transport, & many restaurants.
The breakfast room is very small, although the only time it affected us was when a group was there. The breakfast room ladies are very efficient.
Good location Staff very helpful Breakfast was good
Bed was lumpy and pillows thin
The room was big and staff very friendly and helpful.
I would add some warm items in the breakfast like exchange cold hard boiled eggs with fried eggs and cold sausages with warm ones. Also shower itself is small
The location to the termini train station was handy. The English speaking staff were excellent and very helpful and accommodating.
The room was way too small. The shower cubicle was way too small. The breakfast room was way too small. The breakfast selection was way too small. You get the picture, too small!. The wifi was barely ok, but needed a daily code for each device. Overall, I'd stay again, but only for the staff, and after checking alternatives.
The location was handy for the train station. The staff were very good.
Overall, the hotel is fair. The location is good for the station, but not an area we'd venture out in late at night. The room was VERY small and would be ok if only spending a night or two. We spent the week living out of the luggage as the closet space didn't allow for anything else! Wifi was just fair, but needed a new access code every day.
Excellent location. A good breakfast choice and reception staff very helpful.
Breakfast room was very cramped. It was difficult to get back and fore to the breakfast bar.
room clean shower good though cramped. breakfast plentiful staff reasonably helpful handy for the station and not that far from main tourist sites
pretty unlovely area, with few decent restaurants. Room tiny and lighting not great. wifi connection rubbish staff directed us to the restuarant across the road, which was very disappointing - poor food and touristy. One receptionist tried to charge a commission for ordering a cab to take us to the airport for very early flight home.
excellent location,helpful staff,daily cleaning
The Windrose had everything I wanted for my family, which is a good location near a transportation hub (in Rome, a hotel near Termini is a guarantee of this), free breakfast and a room that comfortably sleeps four. Searching for a decent and reasonably priced hotel for a family in Rome is not easy, as properties which are not really hotels are often mislabeled. There are a lot of "bed and breakfasts" (with many restrictions), rooms with shared bathrooms in "hotels" (I would never subject my family to this) and places that look like hotels but are actually student dormitories with sparse facilities (I had a previous experience in a place like this right across the street). This is a proper hotel with a nicely decorated entrance, knowledgeable staff and fairly large rooms.
The only thing I would say is that the breakfast room is very small and the relatively short breakfast opening hours (from 7:30-9:30) make it crowded at times.
got us the taxi to the airport, got to the airport in record time, 20 minutes!
This was my 3rd visit to Rome and I have stayed at The Windrose every time. The service from the staff was excellent. If I'm allowed to play favourites, Stella was the best!!
Booked this simply for proximity to termini metro station. About a 5 min walk, so quite convenient if taking the train to the airport the next day. Clean.
It's like a 2-star airport hotel. Completely generic. Reception staff not helpful, although the breakfast staff was nice. Poor wifi. Seedy neighborhood. Overpriced for value.
We stayed twice, the first time the room was quite good the second time the room was so small and certainly nut up to standard
The shower was so small it was difficult to get in and out of and kept bumping elbows and shoulders whilst trying to wash myself
The location near the Termini station was ideal for us. The room was decent and comfortable.
The hair dryer did not work and I let them know when we checked out. They said I could have asked for a replacement. The front desk Staff did not try to be very accommodating. I felt like a bother.
This hotel is perfectly located - close to railway station, and easy walking distance to many of the cities famous tourist attractions. Tastefully furnished, clean and spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast in a lovely breakfast room. The front-of-desk staff where highly professional and most helpful. A plus is the vending machine in the lobby which dispenses hot and cold drinks as well as snacks for very reasonable prices! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Rome!
Nothing much not to like. The only issue I had was that, being on the sixth floor, for some or other reason the wi-fi was slow to connect. However, I was able to connect very quickly sitting in the comfortable lobby area.
The room is too small, service bad and bath room is small
Room very small, but very clean
Excellent location close to termini station but on a very quiet street in a safe area at night. Lovely firm bed.
Shower cubicle too small. Linen worn.
Excellent location...very close to Termini. Very nice staff...with reception manned 24x7. Clean all round. Good breakfast included.
A couple of times hot water in the shower was not available after 10:00pm. The day after I asked at the reception whether this was normal. We were told that hot water was available 24hrs and they never had complaints in this regards.
Location, 5 minutes from termini station. Staff, very helpful and attentive. Many good restaurants nearby.
Breakfast is poor, but it's ok for 3 star hotel. Internet connection was also poor in the room
the location of the hotel was excellant for the train and buses, rooms where clean and staff all spoke english and where very friendly.Overall it was a good chose for use.
The dinig room was a bit small when every body tryed to eat at once
