Fantastic hotel and outstanding staff. Very good breakfast. Would highly recommend the hotel and will most likely use this hotel again when visiting Milan.
Location, size of the building with classic instruction with modern room. also Breakfast.
Great position for shopping and restaurant with easy access to city sites
Been told the loud shaking noise like a plane above rattles with noise through the rooms from 5.30am to midnight which is the metro train underneath the hotel
great, clean hotel
Very good breakfast
Great food, people service and the spa was the best. I was not well when I arrived and the spa helped me.
Loved the spa
Room was really, really small but then this is Milan, so space is at a premium I guess.
The hotel's entrance and seating area was an excellent place to socialise. The spa facilities were interesting and relaxing and you have the option of paying for more services such as massages if you so choose. The location was also great, it was right next to a metro station which was 2 stops away from Duomo, the main attraction we wanted to see in Milan. The staff was nice enough and fulfilled each and every request swiftly but just don't expect any smiles :)
The only things that I disliked were the size and outdated decor of my room and the lack of variety at the breakfast buffet. Both of those things wouldn't have bothered me had the hotel price been less.
After a long journey after a delayed flight, we arrived to what seemed like heaven in comparison to 8 extra hours in stanstead.. Helpful and friendly staff and a lovely spa which helped us unwind massively :)
the spa was great some of the staff are helpful
room is small staff a bit unhelpful no parking bit far from centre
It's a very clean hotel, nice staff, excellent breakfast, just near the metro.
Very small rooms, if you want to use the sauna they make you put on the robe and go to the lobby using the lift, it's very embarrassing. But the worst part is that the walls are as thin as paper and you can hear everything.
Reception staff were excellent, very pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful Free use of the spa if in superior room - not sure if it would have been value for money if I'd had to pay for it. Reception area and seating areas around the hotel very pleasant and relaxed. Free wi-fi throughout the hotel
Walls were paper thin, could hear every bit of conversation from adjoining room. Room had a strong smell of stale tobacco. Bathroom was cramped. Restaurant had a substitute menu offering only pizza margarita, cheeseburger (without bun!) and soup - very disappointing
Reception staff were very helpful and courteous. Room service was good and very quick. WiFi was ok but required frewquent re-logging as it times out quickly when not used for a short duration.
Small room which felt quite old with stained walls long overdue for a fresh paint job. Spa is poorly managed with little or no assistance offered by staff. Breakfast area was small and noisy with little variety of choices. Boiled eggs were cold (probably taken out of the frig!)
Breakfast- the only fiber and not processed food- cold, hard, supermarket type tomatoes, the rest- highly processed full of sugar foamy wheat bread, cakes, croissants, compotte, diaries. Thanks God, there were eggs. It was not ok for those who do not eat gluten and lactose
The location and breakfast. Even calories of some food items were written beside the trays!
* small but nice swimming pool * great big wellness area in general! * very nice/tasty/big breakfast choice * good location * good/price performance
* perhaps a SMALL point of optimization => fresh pinnaple => earlier and/or longer opening hours of the SPA/wellness
Location is just perfect!!! Porta Venezia Metro Station is front of the door...shopping district which you can easily find famous branded store. Walk distance to Duomo thought you can take train so easy also. Room is small, AC ok,clean, friendly staff. Breakfast ok. Wifi with speed connection. TV channel mostly in Italian Language and not much to see.
Proximity to subway, clean room. The staff at the reception is very efficience. If you can sleep with earplug, no problem with the hotel.
Noisy, you can ear the subway under the hotel all night and there is a problem with the plumbing, very noisy when someone use the shower. No ambiance in dining room, cafeteria light, much to bright and expeditive but good for breakfast.
Very comfortable and clean. Great location on outskirts of town centre, so lots of great places to eat, and shops to visit (if that's your thing!). Staff very polite, helpful and courteous. They even brought an iron and board to the room.
Room was a bit small, but it was only all standard double. Good size bathroom though!
Location Interior Design Spa Staff/ Service
WiFi in rooms miserable. No free parking in a 4**** hotel....
Very noisy on the lower floors. You can hear the subway. Although rooms are smoke free they still smell of smoke
The SPA (otherwise with a cost of 50€) was included in the room rate with sauna, steam bath, relaxation pool - this was the main reason of my choice. The breakfast was reasonable although limited choice. 50m from metro station.
Dated furniture. The SPA entrance, in the hotel lobby, is only accessible with robe and slippers from the room, which makes somehow unconfortable to access. Expensive restaurant for limited quality (5€ for one botle of 75cc of water is absurd!) - is always empty!
Wonderful hotel, great location, very friendly & warm hearted staff, surely a good option when staying in Milan for leisure or bizz !
