Bad breakfast poor stuff
good location and very central to all sights.
We requested a cot for a baby but on arrival they said they could not supply one so it's not suitable for babies. Also, the breakfast selection was poor and not up to the standard of other hotels we have stayed in whilst in Rome
Really not what you would expect after reading the description on the internet: room door doesn't open completely because the bed is in the way, breakfast is very poor, no internet in the rooms, only in one public place and even thrre not 24 hours a day... Very disappointing and disappointed ...
central location and helpful staff
the rooms were extremely small to the point that the room door couldn't fully open because of the bed
The proximity to food, shopping and siteseeing was great. It was clearly marked and I felt comfortable going out alone in the evening.
The room was the smallest I have ever seen in a hotel. There was a desk but no chair; no trash can, not even in the bathroom; no AC and it was very hot on the 3rd floor, and no WIFI in the room. In addition, you could only use the outlet to charge your phone and/or watch TV IF the associated light was turned on.
Noisy airconditioner Shower was too small Breakfast never changed and basic and without cold cuts or fruit
Location and staff were great.
Breakfast was cold and not much to eat. Room too small. Hotel too old and not the best I have stayed in.
Hotel Zara is a 10/15 minute walk away from the train & bus station, and within easy reach of most other main attractions. Rooms and beds are clean, if basic and in need of modernising. Breakfast was adequate with breads, rolls and pastries. Definitely worth the money paid. We were a group of girls and felt safe in this area and in the hotel at all times.
Not enough hot water which was rectified as soon as brought to the attention of the management. If looking for something to dislike would say it's a pity the lift doesn't go to the 4th floor where our room was located but only really a problem on arrival taking up case the last flight and wishing you hadn't put in the extra pair of shoes!
Rooms are very small n poor breakfast
I like the location of the hotel that it was near the important places of rome especially the monument emanuele.
I think I prefer other type of bread such as sandwich toast, because there was 1 type of bread. But it was ok for me cause I dont eat so much for breakfast,so it was good.
Great location, nice room.
Staff never spoke. Elevators hardly worked.
The personnel are just great, friendly, attentive, helpful, just great! This summer it was our 2nd time in Rome, 2nd time in this hotel. I would certainly recommend this hotel to all travellers, on business or for leisure!
The staff is very helpful and kind.
There's only wifi in one little room, and they close it after 1.00 in the night. The shower is extremely small, I could hardly move. The air conditioner didn't work properly.
wifi was in one location which was the 2nd floor
Stressful trip All visitors were evacuated and sent in different direction we weren't told why and told we could no longer stay at Zara.
good location, rooms and general hotel decor showed they cared
Absolutely diffrent between photos on booking.com and reality. Small dark room, dirty walls and so expensive! If it cost 40 Euros/night its ok.
The room was very poor - sink not even attached to the wall. The staff were very rude and unapproachable.
I did like the breakfast accommodation . It was very good .
I did not like the service , you have to ask to change the towels , the answer was we change the towels when they are dirty ????? We booked the hotel on line and paid by visa , when we left the reception guy asked again for the money which I found very unprofessional , incompetent and disrespectful. I insisted to sign in online banking in his computer to show to him that I already paid . After that he found the bill and gave us the receipt without any apologies for the inconvenience . I did expect a different experience and Instead I remain very disappointed.
Location couldn't be more fantastic! Everything was 5 -10mins walking! Reception staff really good! Really poor breakfast !! Excpensive for the quality it gives. But good location!
Bed was comfortabl
Everything else. Would never stay there again
Very good location, close to train station and city centre. Vintage feel
Bathroom was so small the shower was almost above the toilet
Noisy Schoolchildren as fellow guests
Location was good
Our first night we had no hot water . So couldn't shower . Staff were not helpfull . The bathrooms were tatty and broken. The breakfasts were bad . Cheap sweet food . And coffee machine which was cold . Some staff were almost rude and if you asked for advice or help they weren't interested . I would not recommend ...
I liked the location near the railway terminal and subway. The first room given to me was not satisfactory but after I complained vigorously, they gave me a better room.
In the first room assigned to me, nothing worked - hair dryer, TV, telephone. On my third day and third complaint they gave me another room but only after an unpleasant talk with unpleasant manager.
