This friendly, family owned hotel in the centre of Rome is strategically located between Termini station and the Quirinale (President’s Palace).
This completely renovated antique building provides easy access to the city’s main sources of transport with the added advantage of being within walking distance to most major tourist attractions. Nearby you can visit Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Via dei Condotti. Centrally located it’s about a 5 minute walk to Repubblica Metro station, 10 minutes to Termini. With the Metro stop nearby, you can reach the Vatican City in 20 minutes or buses will take you to the Colosseum in 10 minutes.
The hotel offers all modern comforts and features a common TV room with wide screen satellite TV.

The hotel has a recently renovated breakfast hall and TV room. The corridors are nicely decorated in Venetian style.

Food & beverage

In an elegantly decorated hall on the first floor the continental breakfast is served every morning from 07:30 to 09:30, with coffee (espresso & American), tea, orange juice, fresh bread, fresh Cornetto, cheese, cold milk, corn flakes, biscuits & jams etc. On request the breakfast will be served in the room.

Area information

Hotel Zara is located at the historical centre of the Eternal City, where the remains of an illustrious past melt with the modern bustling of a real metropolis. Few steps from here you will find some of the best shopping Rome has to offer: the famous via Nazionale, or via Quattro Fontane, the Spanish Steps and its “Baroque” part of the beautiful city.
The walking distances to main attractions are as follows: Spanish steps (10 min), Coloseum (15 min), Trevi fountain (10 min), Via Veneto (5 min), and Central Railway Station Termini (15 min).
Vatican city is just 15 minutes by bus or subway. Furthermore, there are very known restaurants and trattorias nearby.

Certainly needed re-decorating in parts. Plug missing in washbasin 2 lights in bathroom with no means of switching on b ut the staff were so helpfull and friendly and Hotel centrally situated.

Good location

Air conditioning in Hotel lobby and stairs good. But almost non existant in room. Far too hot in rooms during night and unfortunately noisey with window open. We had a street facing room. Outside of this perfectly acceptable clean tidy hotel.
