In the hearth of Venice, just a short walk from the railway station Santa Lucia and very close to the Marco Polo airport, the car and bus parking in Piazzale Roma and cruise terminal, Hotel Zecchini is a welcoming two-star hotel where it is still possible to enjoy the genuine typically Venetian hospitality.
The very clean, warm and inviting bedrooms, none of which are the same, are equipped with all modern comforts. Please consult the Room descriptions for a full list of facilities.

A rich buffet breakfast is served from 08:00 to 09:30 in the hotel's small breakfast room. If there are no free tables, please ask the receptionist to go to Hotel Zecchini's sister hotel, located just a few metres away.

Hotel Zecchini consists of 27 very clean and welcoming bedrooms, none of which are the same, but all reflecting the hotel style: a perfect marriage between modern comforts and genuine Venetian hospitality. All bedrooms are equipped with the latest in modern comforts.

All the bedrooms in Hotel Zecchini are distinguished by a minute attention to detail which succeeds in making guests feel entirely at their ease. Guest can choose to be accommodated in smoking or non-smoking rooms, they just have to inform the hotel about their preference when they make reservation.

Hotel is closely located near bus and railway station with good access to city centre and main attactions.

Hotel staff is careless of your concerns, we for example requested a early morning wake up call but the "night duty" overslept and we nearly missed our plane.

proximity to town and all transport links throughout the city. overall a great experience.

breakfast room was far too small for the number of guests, it wasn't until the second day they showed us the spillover breakfast room in their other hotel up the street, which was far bigger and nobody was using it, really bad organisation, but i guess that is italy for you.

the hotel was close to the station, the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was a good plus. Of course, we were there off season, so it wasn't too busy and the prices weren't too high either.

The directions given are foolproof. My friend and I really were grateful that we found it right away, as we were asked by many other tourists looking for other hotels if we knew of their locations. Our room was ready ahead of schedule and the front desk was always helpful when asked.

The room's decor was dated; the 2nd twin bed was not a normal bed; our room was on the same floor as the breakfast room which means we heard noise from other guests at all hours. I would not say these were major problems though.

Proximity to the railroad station and the vaporetta piers.

Lack of an elevator plus the narrow space of the bathroom requiring zigging and zagging around the camode, the sink and the bidet to get to the miniscule shower stall.

The staff were excellent

I would suggest that something is done about the way the breakfast was organised - it was a bit of a shambles . The room was too small. The girl who had to deal with everyone was exceptionally pleasant in a very hectic situation.
