Take the tram No 5 from the Milan central station and get off at the Piazza Ferravilla (ask the driver to let you know when you're at the stop - they are helpful). The Hotel is about 100 metres from the tram stop and its sign on the side of the building can be seen from the stop behind some buildings on the same side of the tram stop. We bought 1 Euro ticket from the newsagent/tabacconist in the station. Leaving the hotel to Linate airport we caught 2 buses - no 90 (or 91) 3 stops down Viale Romania and then the No 73 ("Linate" on the front of the Bus) to Linate airport. (On the way in, in Milan central station we bought 4 x 1 Euro tickets to cover 2 persons going to and from the Hotel)

The staffs are friendly and spoken decent English. The location is inconvenient if you have heavy luggage, but we followed the previous reviews, took the tram#5 outside of train station, and managed to get there. There are two tram stops right in front and beside the Central station. We bought a daypass in the metro machine for 4.5euro, and it worked for all public transportation within Milano. The room was on the first floor, right above the restaurant; it smell like someone smoked there, so we left the window opened. The bed and the bathroom were clean, it came with a minibar in the room. The bath tube had slow drain. In the morning, I could hardly fall back to sleep after 6isham cuz guests were talking on the hallway, and people were dragging the chairs in the restaurant, then the cleaning crew started working until 10:30am. We walked to the nearest subway or train station Dateo during our stay, it took about 15mins walk. The day we left, the tram broke down, and we took the train instead. The overall stay is alright, the neighborhood is quiet. The Wifi worked fine.

1. Very close to tram station 2. Receptionists speak English 3. Good breakfast 4. Room has all the amenities 5. You can eat dinner in the hotel while hearing live music 6. Free wi-fi 1. There was little mildew on the wall in the bathroom 2. The hotel did not have any adapter available for the plugs so I had to buy one in order to recharge the batteries of my laptop and camera.

Staff very friendly and willing to help with my questions, they have a good sense of humour and the language barrier was non-existant. The hotel's location was excellent with a tram line on the North side and a bus route on it's South side. The restaurant was very cosy and homely, with excellent service and great value for money. The room was very well maintained & cleaned, however the Air Conditioning Unit did not work. Overall, the hotel was exactly what we expected/needed, and I would recommend it for individuals, groups and even families. The Air Conditioning Unit in the room did not work at all, and was badly needed as it was very stuffy due to weather. The later check-in time was inconvenient.

Many TV channels. I ordered a pizza from a nearby pizza parlour. The staff said I couldnt eat it in my room as the hotel "already has a restaurant" - whatever that meant. I was forced to embarrassingly eat the pizza in the lobby. I am not sure if this was hotel policy or not, either way, it was a ridiculous "rule". Not being able to bring in external food/drink is why I will never recommend this hotel as it creates a certain lack of freedom.

Price! It's 3 stars hotel in milan but I paid 39 euros for single room per night. Clean and comfortable, and air-conditioned room is nice for summer days in milan. There is also supermarket just around the corner. I would stay there again if I go to milan. I had a hard time on arrival. It wasn't easy to find the tram stop for the first time visitor in Milan, but it's actually near to central station if you know how to take the tram, you can buy the one euro ticket in the Tabasco stand nearby. Also the breakfast is 7 euros..i think is not worthy....

It was nice. Price was good. Free Wifi was a big plus. Buffet breakfast was good but a little bit on the simple side. Lots of tv channels. I didn't think it was a 4 star hotel, didn't feel like one. (But hey, the price is good) The location was a bit of a problem as it's a bit far out, but if you manage to use the tram (No. 5, get off at Ferravilla, basically right next to the hotel) or walk to the near by underground (Dateo station, 5-10 mins walk) then it's fine. The staff was friendly, okay-ish helpful and speaks okay English. Breakfast is quite basic but does its job. The wall was thin, I can hear people next door watching tv and talking, but went quiet after midnight. (Wasn't a problem for me) Room wasn't that clean in my opinion but okay/acceptable.

Hotel ‘s location is not its strong selling point but once you manage to taking local tram or bus is very easy to commute. Hotel staff is attentive and most importantly it is very clean. Btw, two Italian restaurants located nearby are doing good italian food and price both reasonable . Recommend !!

The price (39 euro for a single room) and the WIFI make of this hotel a hard-to-beat deal, specially in an expensive city like Milan. There is also a nice Italian restaurant across the street where you can get a good pizza for 4 euros.

I did not stay in this hotel. I booked the hotel for my music group. Unfortunately, once again there were problems with my booking and there is one desk clerk in particular who is arrogant, rude and impolite. Little man with glasses and a toupeè. Didn't have to deal with him directly but he happened to enter as I was arriving to check in a few of my people and when I turned my back he had something something sarcastic to say about me to the clerk who was helping me. How dare he!! He knows nothing about customer service and it's a few years I've been booking at this hotel. Just simply rude!!! I will never use this hotel again. This time I did have two very nice clerks but the rude little one should not be allowed a job of that sort!

The hotel was clean and comfortable with complimentary wi fi and was reasonably close to the Piola metro station (two bus stops away on the 90/91 bus. I thought that is was a very good deal for the price charged. The staff was courteous and helpful. It was rather challenging to find the hotel at first when I arrived. Zefiro is advertised as being close to the metro but is a bit far to walk. Fortunately, there is reasonably good bus service on Viale Romagna so that takes you to Piazza Piola where you can take the metro but give yourself plenty of time when you are going out as you may have to wait up to 12 minutes in order to get a bus.

Very quiet place and staff is very helpful. Room is very clean. There is a very good Italian food restaurant just opposite the hotel. I think the owner of the restaurant is Chinese and the food taste really good. There is on comforter in the hotel but blanket. In my personal view, it is not feel good at night with blanket. I like comforter. But it is just personal view.

It was really great for the price. The staff was kind enough to give us another room when we discovered that our first room has a terrible cigarette smoke smell (even though we booked a non-smokers room). We were given a cigarette smoke smelling room even though we booked a non-smokers room. At first we were told there is no other room available, but after we kept insisting that a smelling room is not acceptable they somehow found another one.
