The Ancient Romance B&B is just a 5-minute walk from the Vatican Museum. It has rooms with private bathrooms with free Wi-Fi, air conditioning and satellite TV. Each room is uniquely themed.

|Centrally located in Rome, Vatican Leone IV is 300 metres from Ottaviano Metro Station and a 5-minute walk from the Vatican Museums.|
2 blocks away from metro ottoviano (around 2mins walk). 5mins walk to Vatican. Owner is very nice. He is willing to help the guests in all matters. Room is clean and big enough for 2 people, giving us more space for our suitcase and equipped with tv, hairdryer, closet. Defenitely recommend this place
This hostel located in building (on 1st floor) with no sign outside the building. It is kinda hard to find for your first time in Rome. Also, please note that Vatican is very far from the airport. It could take up to 1.5 hr with public transport
The Zero6 guest house is located in a lovely building within a 10 minute walk to St.Peters and the Vatican, and within 3 minutes of the metro. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking a tree-lined street. Luigi, our host, arranged transportation for us from the airport and was on hand to greet us when we arrived. He gave us a key to the building, another to the suite of rooms that comprise the guest house, and a third to our personal room. He also gave us his cell phone number in case we needed to reach him. Luigi speaks excellent English and French and was extremely helpful, giving us directions to the nearest Apple store so we could replace a broken electrical cable and making a phone call in Italian to help us resolve a question with a local restaurant. If that weren't enough, his family owns a restaurant that serves excellent food just minutes away from his guest house. We spent a week at the Zero6 and enjoyed every minute. We will definitely stay there again whenever we are in Rome and will recommend both Zero6 and the family restaurant "L'Abruzzese" to our friends!
We hated to leave!!!
Luigi is very kind and although he was not in the hotel most of the time, it was easy to get in touch with him. The room is simple but really comfortable. We loved the Nespresso machine to start the day with a nice coffee. Good location with easy access to the Vatican, easy to find parking, safe and away from the turistic turmoil.
The owner was very polite and helpful. We got a better room with no extra charge. The Vatican area is safe and peaceful. All the main sights are on walking distance.
We found the suite very spacious and comfortable. The location was great with eating, shopping and siteseeing easily accessable by foot. Highly reccommeded.
Kindness of Luigi and location. Good bathroom
Poor breakfast, small room for money value.
Better room was provided than we had booked.
Wi-fi didn't work during our stay
Excellent location near Vatican City, the Ottaviano metro station, and a number of restaurants. Great value for money. Our room was huge, clean and modern, and coffee and pastries for breakfast were provided. Owner was friendly and helpful, and let us check out late in the afternoon, just in time for our evening flight. I will definitely come back next time I visit Rome.
As most B&Bs or hotels give an access card to your room, this particular establishment gives you the keys as if you are renting an apartment for your stay. Luigi, the owner, greeted us and offered us an exceptional stay. My fiance had her baggage lost on our trip, and Luigi arranged for the delivery to be received and placed in our room. The overall house, is located in a residence building but is securely locked at the main door, securely deadbolted at the entrance to the residence, and securely locked with another key for your room. All keys are provided and instructions carefully explained. Each morning you can help yourself to espresso, tea, or coffee and pastries. Luigi as a host is a very polite, genuine, helpful, and an overall perfect host! He was an excellent communicator not just verbally (and perfect English), but also with contacting us regarding baggage, any assistance with travel, and oh by the way...his family owns a restaurant that is amazing (and includes a discount for staying with the guest house)! Overall, we loved the location, which is walking distance to the Vatican City wall (literally 10 minutes to St Peters) and located near great shopping as well as a plethora of great restaurants. It is also a quieter area with more of a warm neighborhood feel rather than that of a tourist area, a 2 minute walk to the Metro line, and very safe! Don't bother looking at a high end hotel in a tourist trap or a "cheap" unsafe hotel to save cash, this is as good as it gets if you are looking to be an independent tourist but want to feel like a resident! A+++++++
Very clean rooms-Spacey and comfortable bathroom-New towels every day if you want-When we were there a small breakfast was actually included-Location
We paid for a double bed, was a small double, not very comfy-Some of the worst bed linen in the world I cannot stress this enough sheets of single bed size and an oversized blanket whitch was more like a rag in texture and hardness I mean I dont care about the small room but in Rome you need at least o comfortable bed to sleep in after a day in the city and in our case sleeping was a headache I have slept on floors and on the ground more comfortably, again I must say, if you care much about quality of sleep, the cheap rooms here should not be your choice I can't say about the deluxe rooms.
