Friendly staff size of the room

A real extraoridinary nice hotelowner. You feel taken care, welcome, home. Nothing is trouble, the service is excellent. The breakfast is great and the location of the little hotel is close to the city of Meran, but in a quiet area up the hill. Very nice.

Good location in a beautiful residentially area. There is a good eating place near by called Tanner. Standard of breakfast good,even homemade cake. Service extremely friendly. Parking just outside.

Quiet setting and still close to downtown Meran. Comfortable room, great breakfast and the friendly, helpful hostess, Christa.

Christina was very welcoming and friendly. The room was comfortable with everything we needed and the garden and pool area attractive. The buffet breakfast, which included home made cake, was the best we have ever had . We had to leave early on our last day and an individual breakfast was left ready for us, as well as sandwiches for the journey. We also appreciated the honesty bar.

The hotel is a 10 min walk from the center of Merano. It is located in a beautiful neighborhood. The hotel staff is warm and helpful They serve an outstanding breakfast with many delicious options..

We had a lovely room; clean, airy and with a balcony. Christina is very helpful, pseaking very good English which certainly helped us. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast is delicious.

There is no option of an evening meal but there are many pizzarias and restaurants close by so that was no problem.

Very friendly and welcoming in a very peaceful part of Merano. Excellent breakfast with fabulous homemade cakes!

Best regards for very nice lady who was I think owner/manager of hotel and helped me fix small failure of my motorbike. Hotel and city is really beautiful. This is perfect base to visit all areas of Merano and this part of Alp. Once again thank you very much. Arkadiusz Anioł Poland

This was our second stay at Hotel Zima. As before, the breakfast was outstanding, particularly considering the size of the hotel. Lovely to sit out on the terrace to eat. We had a mountain view this time, which was peaceful, with a private balcony. The twin room (5) was smaller than the double we had last time (10) and, although we asked for a twin, we preferred the double. The beds were rather too short for us, and the room a little too small. Good shower. Very close to bus route for town (every 20 minutes, except at night.) Super family who own the hotel - always helpful and very friendly. A most enjoyable stay.

Beds in room 5 were too short and the room a little too small for a long stay. No air conditioning. (This is not normally a problem in Merano's pleasant climate, but it was hotter this year.)

Outstanding breakfast, cultured and charming management, beautifully maintained building, grounds, swimming pool. The best hotel of this kind that I have ever stayed in. Excellent value for money.

The nice quiet position relatively near the town. The very good breakfast buffet and the possibility to have breakfast outside. Rooms are nice and the staff is very friendly. We have stayed at the hotel 2 times and we will definitely be back.

Classy little hotel, a bit far from the center, but good value for money. The bus stop was just around the corner. Location fit for trips in the neighbourhood. Very friendly and helpful owner.

Very nice hotel with very friendly and customer oriented owner. Quiet neighborhood, nice pool, adequate price, very tasteful breakfast, free parking. 15-20 min walking distance to the city but bus stop is right in front of the hotel.

Tv screens are quite small but this is definetely not the place to watch tv.

Pure quality. Everything was as it should be - the staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was very good, but a bit of a long walk to town for the less mobile among us. The advantage of the position though was a lovely view over vineyards to the mountains.

The hotel owner was charming and bakes delicious bread too! The hotel is located both a pleasant walk from the town centre, as well as Trautmandorff gardens. We found the breakfast a delight, with a broad selection of healthy foods in a comfortable setting.

If there is heaven it is located in this place and particularly in this hotel

sehr freundliche Atmosphäre, fast familiär und trotzdem mit der richtigen Distanz. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wohl und die Erholung beginnt.

Es gab nichts zu beanstanden !

Bemerkenswert ist der freundliche Empfang. Man hat sofort den Eindruck Willkommen zu sein. Die Besitzerin gibt gute Tipps zu Ausflügen, Essen und Umgebung. Unser Zimmer war schön mit Balkon. Das Frühstück ist für ein kleines Hotel bemerkenswert gut. Die Besitzerin backt selbst hervorragende Kuchen, die neben Obst, Müsli, Wurst, Marmelade etc. angeboten werden. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Empfehlenswert ist das Ausfugslokal Tanner in nächster Nähe mit sehr guter Pizza und einheimischen Spezialitäten. Dazu der gute Hauswein rot/weiß. Sehr günstig. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Unser Zimmer war für längere Aufenthalte etwas klein, aber es gibt auch größere Zimmer.
