One of the best breakfasts ever in such a moderately priced hotel. Staff were very professional, warm and friendly. Went out of their way to assist with plans, schedules, etc. Excellent views of the mountains, quiet neighborhood with a 'being in the country feel.' Backs up to some vineyards.Easy walk to town. Highly recommend this hotel.

A charming and most helpful landlady who spoke excellent English for those who don't have the German or Italian. The hotel is modern, set in a quiet part of this attractive old spa town of the South Tyrol in Italy. The resort is endowed with a luxuriant growth of fine trees and vegetation and has marvellous botanical gardens at Schloss Trautmannsdorf which are an absolute must for anyone with the least interest in gardening - without a doubt one of the finest public gardens in Europe. The Hotel Zima is an excellent centre for this part of Northern Italy undeservedly little known and visited by UK tourists.

Although a modern design hotel the staff and manager/owner Christina could not have been more helpful or pleasant. The hotel is spotlessly clean , well situated for the town and touring and the breakfast is magnificent. Highly recommend!!!

Hotel Zima is fresh and clean as a new pin and there is such a warm welcome from Christina. There is a high standard of comfort and the breakfasts are wonderful with lots of fresh fruit and and good quality produce. It was great to be so near to Troutmansdorff botanic garden, which must be one of the best in the world. A 10 to 15 minute walk into Merano and a lot of barking dogs in the neighbourhood.

There is a wonderful view from the teras. The plants around the hotel are beautiful. The staff is very kind and friendly. The bathroom is as clean as at home. We recommend this hotel. Merano is a small town situated at the bottom of the mountains.

Un accueil multilingue et adorable, un petit déjeuner qui vous fera sauter le repas de midi et une situation géographique idéale en retrait du centre mais à 15 minutes de marche, 10 minutes des jardins Trauttmansdorff. Un rapport qualité/prix excellent.

Der Hotelgarten mit Pool war traumhaft. Die Lage total ruhig. Sehr freundliche Hotel Besitzer. Das Zimmer war schön, groß genug mit Balkon und sauber. Gewachsenes Hotel nicht zu modern. Rundum sensationell und überragend. Ich werde wieder kommen. Weiter Fußweg in die Innenstadt von Meran vorallem nach Alkohohl Genuß.

Uns hat am Hotel Zima die Freundlichkeit der Chefin und des gesamten Personals gefallen. Auch die Lage ist super, allerdings nur für Leute, die auch einmal 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt gehen möchten. Besonders erwähnenswert ist das umfangreiche Frühstücksbüfett, mit allem was das Herz begehrt! Wir kommen bald wieder!

Überaus freundlicher Empfang, man bemüht sich sehr den Gast zufriedenzustellen. Als Tipp: bitte unbedingt das nur 10 Minuten Fussweg entfernte Schloss Trauttmannsdorf mit seinen paradiesischen Gärten besuchen!
