Forres Park Nature Retreat  

Beautiful location and fabulous food. Staff really were exceptionally welcoming and hospitable and we were very sorry to leave.

We stayed in one of the cabins which left a bit to be desired in terms of comfort and cleanliness. It was fine but nothing special.

The staff is so personable and caring. All of my activities were carefully coordinated. The menu was personalized for my vegan ways. The staff pampered me in every way!

The beautiful location in the middle of an old coffee plantation and orchard, right near a small village in the cool and picturesque hills north of Kingston. The resort provided transport for us to visit the old Cinchona Botanic Gardens and to Whitfield Hall from where we hiked up Blue Mountain Peak. Also, a coffee factory nearby can be toured. And there's bird-watching right around the house, especially humming birds. The best thing, though, about Forres Park is the wonderful friendly and competent staff that made our stay truly memorable. And the food, with strong and delicious Jamaican flavors, was very good, too, eaten on the open-air patio.

Internet was down but it was the provider's fault as we understood. Also, some small maintenance could be done

Super Lage inmitten einer Kaffeeplantage im abgelegenen Mavis Bank mit Blick auf die Blue Mountains. Mitarbeiter waren super nett und ließen keine Wünsche offen, obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren. Top auch die Führung über die Plantage!

L’hôtel est un peu en retrait mais l'on peut apprécier la dimension des Blue Mountains au coucher & lever du soleil; un joli endroit à visiter !

Nicolette and the staff were great! The food is pretty good and prepared when you want it, especially the fish and tasty blue mountain coffee. The views from the 2nd and 3rd floor balconies are great. Hammocks for lazing. Free drinking water. Close to hiking opps and coffee plantations. Can organize Blue Mountain Peak hike.

Some of the furniture could use attention. Our bathroom door was half off the hinges and bed was pretty but not the most comfortable mattress. The floors are a bit creaky too so its a little noisy when guests move around late or early morning. The experience and location more than makes up for it though.

We liked everything about Forres Park. The staff was wonderful. The service excellence. They even ask you what you would like to eat and what time so that they prepare the food fresh on the spot.The food was faboulous. They pick fruits and vegetable from their yard. We have been really cared for, and we are definitely coming back.

Staff was amazing. They took very good care of us. The food was good. Great place for birders, and anyone interested in the plants of Jamaica. Great mountain views. Nice little town.

Everything is very clean, but not all rooms have been maintained to the same standard. A little expensive.
