The staff and service were excellent. The hotel is gorgeous with spacious, clean rooms. The swimming pool was convenient since the hotel was not on a beach even though it was not far. Conveniently close to the airport with shuttle service and close to the downtown activity.

It would have been good to have an on site store or shop as there was none in the immediate area to purchase any snacks or small food and personal items.

The bed was comfy

Miles away from any where , you have to get a cab just to get anything at a cost of 10 dollars each way ,the hotel was worn out and needed a good clean and paint, you get better food in town and cheaper and the drinks are a rip off,

Our waitstaff were excellent.

When I arrived, even though I had the paperwork that the 3rd person stayed free IF we were using the existing beds - they charged me an addl 17.00US - plus then for some reason their system Declined my Discover card for payment - I had used it previously in Jamaica - and when I got back to the states - Discover could not recognize that it ever showed as Declined. Not friendly - her name was Grace.

Its's a very cheap hotel, so if you're on a budget it's good. Very close to the airport and has good free shuffle from the airport. Also free shuffle to the beach every day. Jamaica is very beautiful and the hotel could arrange tours to Dunns riversfalls, green grotto caves, Negril etc..

The location was bad, specially since we were two girls travelling and it can be quite dangerous to walk around in the nights. It was quite a walk to the hip strip so you had to take a taxi everytime, taxis are expensive and the hotel drivers took 15 USD for a ride to the hipstrip. Thats 30 USD just for going to dinner and have a few drinks. (We didn't dare to grab just any cab since the hotelstaff advised us not too, but talking to some guys they said that you could grab a taxi for 10 USD one way)

The pool was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the receptionists. Our aircon refused to work, so they moved us to a more expensive room at no extra charge without our even having to ask. The food in the restaurant was lovely. It was very reasonably priced. They were very obliging when it came to helping us book tours and trips, and we didn't feel ripped off at all.

If you haven't got a car, it is quite a long way from town and youy are forced to use the hotel's arranged transport/taxis, which are $15 US a pop no matter where you want to go. There is no public transport to speak of. If you can find your own 'tame' taxi, you will be able to arrange pick ups and drop offs at much cheaper rates than this.

I liked the location of the hotel best. It was conviently located to everything I needed. The staff was friendly, courteous and kind. But the facilities were a problem; in particularly the water pressure and temperature.The water pressure was always low and difficult to get hot water.

No coffee and tea faclities on arrival, no customer information leafelets about facilites, no fridge, location had very little paved area so difficult to get around, needed decorating in main dinning and bar area.

We enjoyed our two day stay at the Grandiosa. The rooms were spacious air conditioned and with comfortable beds. The staff were extremely polite and accommodating, enduring our stay was a positive experience. The only critism I have is - the restaurant. The staff were very professional, although the food service could do with some refining.

I love the ocean view, i get up in the morning and open my front door and i have a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff is very friend and courteous.

Very courteous staff! The food was exquisite. This hotel is perfect for that quick, short & inexpensive getaway vacay spot. I'd definately recommend & revisit Grandiosa.

1. The room was a bit musky in odour. 2. I'd prefer if the bathroom was equipped with an electrical outlet & hair dryer 3. All the extra charges... My stay was overnight & didn't include meals but after paying for dinner for two I wanted the meal deliverd to the room & was charged for room service. It wasn't expensive but the added cost I could do without (just go the extra mile).

our stay @ Grandiosa was excellent:: the staff was amazing everyone was so nice and welcoming we felt so @ home..we have stay in other hotels in the montego bay area before and so far u guys are the BEST!!! fyi...u guys has the BEST chef...food was exceptional!! me and my husband travels a lot and will be def coming bk there very soon.I also wanted to know if u guys have hotels in other countries.? will definately encourage my business partners,friends and family to stay with u guys whenever they visit Jamaica. again just wanna thank u guys for the wonderful hospitality and we hope to see u guys soon:):::::; m.burrell

Definately not Going back, walking into the 60s,update is a must,near airport, too far from town and mo bay strip, so taxis evrywhere.would've payed more for hotel to be nearer to Mo bay. Nothing around hotel

The staff were especially friendly and helpful. Very welcoming place to stay with good food and service. We'll stay again when our travels bring us in that direction.

liegt sehr Nahe am Flughafen, sehr freundliches Personal, Zimmer zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sehr gute Küche Aufgrund unserer sehr späten Ankunft in Montego Bay war eine Weiterrreise zur eigentlichen Destination nicht möglich. Daher haben wir eine Nacht im Grandiosa gebucht. Für eine Nacht ok, für einen längeren Aufenthalt kommt das Hotel für uns nicht in Frage.

Zimmer haben etwas "gemuffelt", Poolwände waren sehr stark verschmutzt. Ohne Taxi ist der Beach praktisch nicht erreichbar.

El personal verdaderamente es increible, siempre atentos a lo que necesites, si te hace falta algo, si todo esta bien, algo en lo que le podamos ayudar y sobre todo su confianza, aprecio, puedo decir que hasta te sientes en tu casa. La comida del restaurante es muy buena y los precios son buenos también...

La ubicación no es muy buena pues todas las tiendas o los lugares turísticos quedan algo retirado.

Lower price hotel but quality was as low or maybe lower than the price.

Close to town

A lot of very small ants in room. Called but no one showed up. Complained next morning to front desk that ants swarmed our pizza ...we lost an entire pie. Place need painting..updating..Bath tub drain poorly. Place need cleaning

el personal es muy amable y rápido para atender.

el hotel queda un poco lejos de la playa y por un camino no muy seguro. Los taxistas cobran caro y son muy poco transparentes
