Negril Beach Club Resort  

The hotel staff was rude and disrespectful.

One of the nicest beaches in all of Negril. Most have kitchenettes in the room. Balconies over looking the garden and/or ocean. Very laid back and relaxing.

Don't expect 5 star hotel/resort at this price.

The Beach was great! The location of the Club is with-in walking distance to downtown Negril. We walked to the grocery store and other resturants.

The only down fall was the lack of communication on charges, not getting the room at 1st we paid for, no one was in a big rush to be of service to us. Example. If we needed towels we had to put a reservation in a day in advance. They could have just been a little more friendly and acted like they wanted to help. They also did not tell us about the $20 room key deposit nore the $3. a day safe use. They just gave us the key. If they would have just been up front with some small things. Over all it would have made the say 100 time better. I will deffinatly return the the club. Next time I will know more.

A 20 ft walk to the Beach, great restaurant right next to it!

When we first got there they didn't have power, but I guess thats normal for the area, but within a couple of hours it was back on. It didn't really bother us because we didn't say in the room much just to sleep.

Nothing. The room was not properly cleaned. Did not get value for money. Very disappointed.

Lo mas agradable de este hotel fue la ubiacion y el precio,la sra Elaine de recepcion siempre dispuesta a brindarnos su ayuda a pesar de no entendernos claramente ya que casi no hablamos ingles. Un bonito jardin y a solo unos cuantos pasos de las 7 millas de playas, aguas cristalinas y arena blanca. Solo restan estas palabras: economico centrico confortable.

A praia linda e a alguns passos do quarto. Gostei do jardim, das cadeiras na praia. Gostei da loja de souvenirs, do restaurante e do bar a beira da praia e do clima tranquilo dos clientes na praia.

Gostaria de roupa de cama melhor, a de minha cama tinha manchas.

Arrived on Sunday 09/09/2012, check-in was difficult as the front desk clerk did not know of my arrival or the type of room I booked. She said the system was down and as the shift had just changed, the previous clerk did not leave any information concerning that day's check ins. The room f10 was uninhabitable, there was no safe to lock up valuables, I was given the key to another room just to use the safe, but not offered another room with a safe. The kitchenette had no coffee cups, 4 knives, one tablespoon and 2 plastic forks wrapped in paper napkins which I suspect was left by the previous guests who had take out food. The kitchen draws had insect legs and dust in them, totally neglected and nasty. The stove had one working burner, the fan which had an inch of dust on the blades had one speed, 'Hi' and there was no remote for the a/c, the clerk suggested that when it got too cold we could get up and turn it off. Spoke with the manager the following day and told her that I expect to get what I paid for, certainly not less and she upgraded my room to a one bedroom , a great improvement even though there was one remote for the tv in the living room and none for the tv in the bedroom. The kitchen was better stocked with cutlery and dishes, pots and pans. My overall impression is that of a property that was great in the past (I stayed there about 4 yrs. Ago and the deterioration is very evident) The property has been terribly neglected and rundown, and the staff does not care!!! The bedspread was worn and torn and the bathrooms were not as clean as they should be. The bathtub porcelain was peeling I had to clean up some stains splattered on the wall beside the toilet that looked to be feces. Yuk!! We wanted to check out early Thursday morning, the front desk sign advised that it opened @ 7 am. The clerk strolled in at 8:20 am.!!! If I was leaving on a flight that day, I would have missed it!!!
