My daughter & I stayed one night at Al Anbat 1. The host gave us a tour of the facilities, which included a cozy & clean pool area & a Turkish bath, before taking us to our room. The room was clean & sufficient with a small refrigerator, clean bathroom, & comfortable beds. It was quiet at night, allowing us good rest before a long day in Petra. A staff member in the kitchen accompanied my request to bring hot water & mugs to our room just before we checked out so we could have our coffee there instead of in the restaurant. We didn't try the complimentary breakfast buffet, but it looked like the average local cuisine. There was a free shuttle van to take us down to the Petra Visitor Center. For the price, we felt it was a very fair value, & one we didn't mind paying especially since we were only in our room to sleep.
Nice view, good buffet
Dirty toilet, requested it to be cleaned 3 separate times to no avail. No towels either.
Location Behaviour of Staff Break fast Internet facilities All of them speak good english
From the array of hotels nearby Petra, we picked this one because the facilities seemed great for the good price, it seemed to have quite a nice view, pretty high-end and comfortable rooms and even a pool to unwind at after a day in Petra. We were not disappointed. This place was worth every penny! The reception staff was very nice to show us around the whole place. Our room had a fabulous view of the surrounding hills and the city. We were very glad to stay a little further above the city and not be amidst all the other hotels. The rooms were really very nice. We would have been willing to spend more on this hotel for sure and would definitely come back.
We have nothing negative to comment.
The location and views, the pool, and the excellent quality and value of food. The waiter Abdul Hamid could not have been more helpful. It was really excellent value for money.
The lighting in our room was not working well and there was a small leak in the bathroom.
The hotel offers good value for money If you are looking for a place to simply sleep. Nice hill top view. Good sunsets. The pool is functional and the stream room and hot tub are great options.
Many health and safety issues, so beware with young children? If you get the supper buffet on the day it was prepared than it is likely OK. Could not help but notice our fellow hotel guests also eating down town. A bit remote from Petra, but driveable.
The staff were very helpful and offered help and advice. The restaurant has a fantastic view towards Petra and at sunset, wonderful. The bedroom was very clean and we slept very well. Would recommend this hotel to other travellers. Thank you.
It would have been nice if the hotel was licensed.
the hotel looks very attractive, however maintenance was questionable (dangerous plugs, useless abat jour, fridge not working) and also the overall cleanliness was not satisfactory. in a way it is deceiving.
Good hotel. View every evening is amazing and food is rahter good.
Good hotel. Except for this: If you are sleeping on the 5th floot, you can hear the chairs scratching very clear on the 6th floor. This is annoying every evening and morning. They should be able to fix it with filt under each chair. (please note that the Restaurant is on the 6th floor).
Comfy bed and good view from balcony
Distance from wadi musa although the staff were very helpful on giving us lifts into town and Petra
Very friendly and helpful staff, eager to please. The location was good, away from the hustle & bustle of Wadi Musa and on a cliff with a spectacular view. The pool was a win, although it was a bit chilly. Great rooms and beds, with fridge. The sheets smelled clean like washing powder, so we slept like logs.
Only about two staff members spoke good English, the rest not even basic English. No alcohol was a pity! Beer would have been great after a day hike! The buffet food was very average... not a huge selection / variety. No table-cloths or candles on the tables, so the dining room lacked charm. There was a leak from the shower drain, and I reported it. The hotel's name SIGN outside had a letter falling off, making the hotel look a bit shabby at first glance.
Clean and comfortable rooms, ok facilities
Quite some noice in the morning from moving chairs in the restaurant. No wifi in the hotel rooms
It is a clean and big room for staying with a comfortable queen size bed. Very quite location.
The hotel is not ready to be providing good quality food for their buffet and breakfast is very poor quality as well. There was not enough food.
Petra itself is overrated. Beside the site itself, there is no much going on in Wadi Musa. The hotel was far, old and dirty. Food was expensive and terrible. No alcohol. Staff wasn't very helpful.
It's a nice family runned hotel: good hospitality and services. We were a group of 4 friend and we really enjoy our stay. We would like to thanks again Alanbat owner and general manager.
Staff were all friendly and willing to help. Had a few minor problems during stay but all solved quickly. Room was good size and had balcony overlooking great sunset views of little petra. Decent breakfast buggy but limited choice
We had a car so I didn't matter to us but it would be a hard 45+ min walk down to petra or town for restaurants and the hill is very steep. Bathroom dated and suite needs replaced. Looks dirty as grouting is terracotta and suite was chipped and badly marked
the view - kindness staff -
the location of the bathroom .
fantastic view on sunset from the restaurant
poor staff, unfinished decoration in rooms, very little choice for breakfast - same food everyday and I mean it - you will see the same roll for few days until it end up on someones plate :), it would be a really nice hotel if someone would make an effort. keep looking elsewhere
Food was very good with lots of choice and restaurant manager very friendly and helpful. Free internet in the lobby was useful for booking our next hotel and checking e-mails. Bed was large and extremely comfortable and luxurious. Views from our balcony over the valley. Good to have a cooling dip in the pool. Free car parking across the road from the hotel.
The shower needed a higher pressure otherwise all good.
