Hospitality. I'm very please with the way Thair, manager/owner, treat us as his customer. I pre-arranged a pick up and drop from/to airport, so the day we arrived, he was already waiting for us, even though we kind of late getting the clearance in the immigration, because of long queue (an Air France just landed the same time we landed). He helped us ordering delivery service for our dinner. On the last day of our stay, and this is what impressed me, he took us around for sight seeing of Amman at night, tasting the best kunafa in town and shopping a very nice Arabian sweet (baklava) to our liking. Then the next morning, he took us to have breakfast in Hashem Restaurant, a local restaurant serving Hummus as main breakfast menu. All was in the courtesy of our friend, Thair.
Location. As furnished apartment, Al Nakheel suits for family travelling with young children, who would like to explore Jordan attractive places. It's in the outskirt of Amman, so basically best location as a hub for day travel to all part of Jordan. It's perfect for our purpose whereby we travel to all attractive places everyday during our stay in Jordan. There is a small grocery shop just next to it, so we can pretty much get basic needs like milk, water etc.
Suggestion: Transportation is important, especially if you want to do day travel in Jordan and going to city center to experience Amman's ambiance, day or night. We didn't plan our trip well enough, so we didn't get a car hire during our visit. So, plan ahead your trip, contact Thair before hand so he could arrange a car to hire.
