We arrived into Amman Queen Alia Airport at 5:30am, if you have an EU Passport you can buy your visa in arrivals for 40JD / €53 each. (There an ATM there but the change rate is ridiculous so only take out what you need), you can also pay by Visa too.
The quickest option for us to reach the hotel (given it was 5:30am) was to get a taxi, once we came out of the arrivals hall (right outside, past the many people / Taxi touts waiting once the doors open), there's a taxi desk, the taxi took about 30mins (with zero traffic) and cost 22JD / €29... (The hotel rate is 40JD / €53)... There is a bus though if you prefer during the day, but I don't know that price.
Checkin' was nice, pleasant, fast and the gentleman informed us about breakfast, Wi-Fi passwords etc...
As you entered the room there was a lovely spacious bathroom to the right, which had numerous complementary toiletries and ample towels (that were replaced daily), There was a shower and a bath (which was amazing to sink into after a day of touring around)! and a hairdryer. The bathroom is large and was very clean (which is the most important thing to us), the standard of cleanliness was maintained throughout the week by housekeeping.
In the bedroom was a large closet with ample hangers (enough for two people), an electronic safe (that we couldn't get to work at first, but after a call down to reception someone came to the room within' 5 minutes to sort it out, and then it fixed), there was a work desk, a seating area with x2 chairs, iron / ironing board, kettle complimentary Tea & Coffee (which was replaced daily), a fully stocked mini bar, flat screen TV (of the 50 TV Channels available there was numerous English speaking channels: BBC World, Euronews, CNN, Sports + Movie Channels)... And the most comfiest bed ever! (There was also two extra pillows that I had requested).
