The staff and manager were very friendly, and they had the cutest baby -- Shiraz!! We miss you Shiraz! The location is also very convenient.
My friends got bit by mosquitos in the room one night and had to sleep on the couch. The shower water could have been stronger too, but otherwise was a pleasant experience.
Welcoming and friendly staff Lots of activities can be arranged Many international travellers to converse with Clean and comfortable beds Large bathrooms Comfortable lounge Fun place to stay!
Don't expect luxury, some things are not maintained well Shortage of toilet paper Roof Terrace was scruffy Extensive menu, but some items came from a nearby take away! Access is not easy - high steps to front door
All was good
It was all good
The homely feel of the place and friendliness of staff
Towels were too small!
Decent location. Guy running the excursions (manager?) was very nice with nice trips at reasonable prices. Nice lively common area. Basic but decent breakfast. Room was good size. Decently furnished.
The staff wasn't friendly. They charge 3% to use credit cards but do not know how to use a calculator. Wanted to charge me 3$ for a 70$ charge. AC in room didn't work at all and it is way to noisy outside to open window.
Staff and location
Noice bathrooms are not working properly flow of water very hard
I loved the quirkiness and character of this hotel. It’s funny, but you don’t feel like you’re staying at a hotel. I felt like I was staying in a big home; it’s cozy. Amman Pasha is tucked away on a quaint street in the heart of downtown Amman. You can’t beat the location! It’s a few minutes walk from the famous Hashem restaurant and Habibeh’s pastry shop. Literally everything you need is within walking distance. The magnificent Roman Amphitheater is just across the street, and if you get room 507, you’ll have the best view of it ever. I was a woman traveling alone, but I felt like I had a home full of big brothers at the hotel. The guys there look out for you and help you so much. Ibrahim is from Sudan, and I felt like he adopted me like a little sister. He always had a listening ear and great advice about the area, when needed. I swear he knows how to do everything in the hotel. He helps with the breakfast, cleans the rooms, and runs errands… the list doesn’t end. He’s worth his weight in gold. Raymond in his wife are such a charming couple. Amman Pasha Hotel is a gem in the heart of downtown.
Location was good ! Good clean hostel with very friendly and helpful staff.
A bit noisy.
This was a very unique experience. You get to a hotel where everyone knwos everyone and is friendly. They were all kind and helpful and one would really appreciate all the efforts they put into helping us during our stay. The bad part is the hotel itself which is very old and simple so you should really not expect much beside a bed and a shower. Indeed there is no room Cleaning or shiwer towel etc. So if u want somewhere where they care about you but that s all you should choose this hotel. Its situation in the downtown of Amman which is very popular without any fancy restaurants or shops. The wifi is very slow but useful.
Lack of cleaning the room or any services.
Perfect down town location. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere!
-Excellent location. -Amazing breakfast. -Good staff, booked all tours for a reasonable price. (ASK FOR RICHARD AS YOUR DRIVER, HE'S ALMOST A HISTORY TEACHER). -Would come back for sure!
Last day, we past all day on Petra and took a night flight. They promised us that we could take a shower in a room before going to the airport, (even after the checkout, great! ) When we arrived from the tour the reception guy told us that was impossible to go to a room because the hotel was full...I offered him 10JD, and there you go, just got a free room..... Loved the hotel, but this last experience was a totally unnecessary.
Located in the old City, close to markets and shops.Close to jet bus terminal for trips to petra and Wadi Rum etc.Approx $8 return.BusTerm net to Petra site in Petra allows 7hrs to explore. If coming from Airport by Bus stay on Bus until city Term then take share taxi which stops at opposite end of the street hotel is located 5 min walk.Fare 45cents per person. If getting off Bus at 7th circle taxi drivers demand $7-8 and all woor together so will not get cheaper.
Water pressure in Bathroom almost non existent, had to almost beg to have room cleaned. Local families use this hotel with the children running around the corridors and yelling and screaming until well after midnight. Hotel charge very high rates for tours.where possible use jet bus or share taxi. Hotel quotes $90 entrance fee for Petra site this is not correct this charge is for day trippers from Israel. Charge for tourists with a visa is $50 one day or $55 for two days make sure you take passport with you. Breakfast is hit and miss Arab food or western, however the salad, cornflakes milk and eggs rarely made an appearance before 7.30.even though breakfast started at 7.ooam
The spirit and atmosphere are very good.
Everything was fine but I thought it was somewhat pricey. But then Jordan is not a cheap country.
The staff are amazingly friendly, being able to hire drivers to all the sights and very close to all the shops and sights of town
Shower had little pressure
Amman Pasha Hotel is right in the middle of Amman downtown. All the staff are welcoming, in an easy and natural way that makes one feel at home. They organize trips, tours, wellness treatments and there is always someone ready to help and meet one's requirements. Breakfast is generous and very good. Do not expect any luxury! It is an unpretentious place; but very rich in humanity, kindness and sympathy.
The elvitor not work one day.
Location and homely feel
Noise, bathroom facilities and issues with hot water.
The rooms were a great size. Located Down Town, it is straight across from the Roman Amphitheatre and the Citadel is just above it. You can get a beer in the restaurant even in Ramadan.
Toilet was not flushing to well.
Nice little hotel downtown Amman. From our window we could see the old part of Amman. 1 minute walking and you are in the mosque and the main shopping street. Very nice bar with good food and nice music. Fridge in the room.
Bit noisy, can be cleaner. The bathroom is ok, but that's just it. No luxury at all.
Perfect location, very kind staff
Pasha hotel is a cozy place, perfect if you are just arrived in Jordan and need to get into Jordan culture. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful, everybody speak a good english and one of the owner can speak good italian too. You can organize tour whereas in Jordan with then and the driver will give you lot of useful informations. During our stay they were hosting about 50 palestinian refugees families from Gaza with spanish passport, so it was all a bit messy but it was nice to have to opportunity to excange opinion with them. Food at the reastaurant is very tasty and breakfast a proper lunch!!
At our arrival the room was quite dirty though bed linen seemed clean. There were no towels in the room so we had to ask for them. It is a hotel "policy" not to clean the rooms unless you don't ask for it, when you need it. Upstair terrace is very dirty with garbage on the floor and old stuff all around. It could be very nice with an amazing view on the roman theatre if they would clean it.
The hotel is basic, but clean. We appreciated all of the help provided for us with booking tours. Everyone at the desk was extremely helpful. I was mistakenly charged on my card in USD instead of JOD and they quickly offered to pay me the difference in cost that I incurred. I think it is very kind that the hotel owner was helping those from Gaza who are currently in a difficult situation without anywhere to stay.
We were not able to access internet in the room and it would have been greatly appreciated if it had been available up there.
- very friendly staff overall - great location
- quality of building and rooms very very basic - staff sometimes not best English - staff too pushy to sell things (trips, etc.)
Was a great place to stay for a night. Breakfast was nice and large. Typical Jordanian style. The rooms were adequate with a/c working well.
The night tour was a bit of a let down as the driver just drove me around showing me what was what and not giving me time to go out and explore myself. Ofcourse he offered, but that would of been an extra charge which they didn't tell me at the start of the tour when I paid for the night tour.
