Amman Pasha Hotel  

Enthusiastic & friendly staff who attend to your every needs and take an interest in your whole holiday, arranging transport and transfers at a reasonable price. The rooms are basic which is what you would expect from a budget hotel, but room and bathroom were clean and everything worked. Hotel cafe stays open all day which is a nice place to relax

nothing - it was a hoot, but not all bathrooms have a tub - some just have a shower, and the rooms are carpetted - some old and stained, not tiled as in the description

There is no hotel like the Pasha. I was met at airport by a friendly driver. Checked in with the helpful and friendly front desk staff. The room is basic but clean,hot water shower, working A/C, great views . Good list of tours. Cafe serves good range of food and is not pricey. They had entertainment at night with Arabic dances. It was lots of fun.

The wifi connection in my room was pretty poor.

The view from the rooms in the front is just fantastic.. you get the best view of the Roman theatre and it's so close by. The staff are very friendly, the new management is also very friendly especially Najma

The owner is one of the most kind person I've ever met. Very close to the citadel and the amphitheater, near to the "new" Amman. Nice terrace.

The rooms need an improvement. Little bit stinky. Anyway if you stay a couple of days it's livable!

Location Breakfast

Very old room, noisy as double glazing was not working. Not very clean. I do not know if there is a newer part of the hotel and we were put in the old one, but surely I do not share the positive comments that other travellers have shared. The good service can not make up for the poor quality of the facilities

The Amman Pasha Hotel offers the full package - it is ideally located, great value for money and the staff make one feel right at home. I especially enjoyed learning about Jordanian culture from the staff, cooking Mansaf, and the fact that everything in the city was walking distance

Location downtown, decent breakfast, staff found me a parking space almost in front of the hotel.

The place is very worn. A little paint and maintenance would go a long way.

I heard about this hotel good and bad things. I was ready for anything. I am so glad I did stay It was well worth the punt. The Location is the best in downtown or anywhere else in Amman ,Roof terrace was great for views all around.

The people from the hotel is smoking all the time in all areas. We could not even have breakfast. In the end we left the hotel and went to another one because it was too much smoke. The breakfast is horrible. The pizzas also. The hotel does not look too clean, specially in the corredors and the rooms. The guy in the reception was quite rude.

Very good position in the middle of downtown Amman, extremely kind and helpful staff in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Very good range of day trips with english speaking drivers and the opportunity to share the ride is great both for the pocket and for meeting new people.

The room, especially the bathroom, was old and worn and not too tidy. It would definitely need some refurbishment. Just like the TV.

Great atmosphere, with the staff exceptionally friendly. There were many day trips avilble which means you can base in Amman, making travel arrangements easier. Loved the cooking lesson- Raymond you have extraordinarily talented staff.

The staff was really friendly. They always treated us very well and extremelly helpful with a lot of advices. They even keept our luggage for a couple of days when we were at Petra.and Jerusalem. They also shown us the traditional.jordanean dance, Very nice people

The staff were very attentive and nice to our little boy of 1,5 year old. They were a great help for us to set up and join tours, in such a way that we could share the price with other tourists. The hotel tries to arrange only English speaking and good-humoured drivers. The restaurant attached to the hotel is quite good (especially compared to others we could locate downtown). The location of the hotel is excellent as it's just opposite the Roman Theatre and the Citadel is just uphill. I would highly recommend this hotel to all independent travellers!

I read other reviews and, indeed, people in that Hotel Pasha are kind, helpful, the hotel is at a crossroad of all what a traveler might need in Amman, simply to be recommended and remembered!

At the end of each corridor-floor there is a door looking outside and what you see? A huge pile of garbage, not a nice view!

What it makes the Amman Pasha Hotel a great place to stay is its friendly staff. They go beyond their duties to make you feel welcome. They have a great knowledge of all the interesting places to visit and how to get there. They have music every night at their restaurant and it is a lot of fun. The breakfast is Mediterranean and Western. I did enjoy the Mediterranean every morning. The day I checked out, Ibrahm took my suitcase and helped me get a cab one block from the hotel. That was very nice of him.

People sometimes smoke at the lobby or restaurant but everybody smokes in Jordan after all. They have a non-smoking lounge for non- smokers though.

Good value for money, excellent Down town location right next to the ampitheatre. Staff were friendly and helpful and enjoyed the food in the cafe. The roof top terrace was good to sit out on in the evening and watch life go by down below.

We enjoyed the time at Amman Pasha Hotel very much. The staff was great and extremely helpful with all matters, and they really made us feel welcome in Amman. Outstanding location - just across from the Roman Amphitheater and other top sights in Amman, which were the best appreciated from the rooftop terrace on the 6th floor. Despite the very central location, we got parking in front of hotel. Colorful and nicely designed restaurant with wide range of very tasty local food, and we had lots of fun with Jordanian dances. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The stqff was super kind, breakfast was fresh and there was food available 24/7. The position is very central (1 minute walk from the Roman theatre), the quality/price relation is absolutely great.

The bathroom was smelly but I dont think it was due to lack cleaning but more for lack of ventilation.

Really doesn't get much cheaper than this in Amman. Location is ideal for visiting the various ancient ruins in the Down Town area.

Very shabby. Carpets looked like they haven't been changed since the 80s. Toilet rocked and barely flushed. Restaurant presents a lengthy menu but only actually has a much more limited selection of dishes ready to hand.
