Amazing views and sites.
Take a torch and towel.
Wadi Rum is a place that must be experienced by every traveller in Jordan. The tall rocks and desert landscape are absolutely wonderful and we had a great tour of the place with Bedouin Advisor Camp's Eid covering its many interesting places. It was a fabulous experience overall.
We were out in the desert so I guess the buffet food options would be limited but I still feel there could be a little more to the dinner than what we had. The desert tent has no electricity so during summer you need to open the vents to let the air in - only thing is the vents could also bring in insects of all types. Perhaps putting up a mesh net wouldn't be such a bad idea.
only the desert. We hate the camp and the staff.
Of corse it was a camp and i did not expect a lot of confort. However they joined guests from different camps in only one. So we do not know in which camp we stayed. The bathroom stank a lot, we could not use it (we used the desert). There were no sheets on the beds. There was no family living there or hosting us, just a couple of guys that were guides.
Right from the start I gave Ayesh a call. It was a bit at the last moment, but know worries there. We told him which bus we were arriving on and he arranged for a fixed price taxi to pick us up in Aqaba. Then when we arrived at his house he welcomed us and found out a little about what we'd like to do. After that it was a great adventure & so easy to organise. I would recommend this to anyone!
Excellent jeep tour with narration of sights by Salem, our driver. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. Comfortable accommodations in beautiful nighttime setting under the stars.
Expected more background information and education about Bedouin lifestyle
Very good guides.
This was an excellent choice for visiting Wadi Rum.From start to finish the guides couldn't have been more helpful. The price was sorted out straight away and was very reasonable. We hadn't had lunch when we arrived and were invited back to the owners house for lunch. The bathroom facilities were basic but clean and you are in the middle of Wadi Rum.The beds were clean and sheets smelt fresh. It was an amazing experience. The guides were professional ,friendly and made us feel very safe.Fantastic book with these guys and you wont be disappointed.
Tents and facilities are comfortable for desert standards, staff are friendly, dinner (extra) was delicious, breakfast is good, option to sleep under the star
Difficult to arrange camel and trekking tours unless in a group (I did do the jeep tour, but would love an option where solo travellers can be combined with other camps)
Everything!! The 4x4 jeep tour is a must. Our guide Suliman was fantastic, funny, and had a great command of english to explain the history of wadi rum and the bedouin lifestyle. Considering this was in the desert, our tents were great and we had a solid nights rest; beds were provided. The food was also pretty good and we enjoyed the music and explanation of the bedouin lifestyle over tea and star gazing. All in all, everything was well organized and one of our favourite day's in Jordan.
No candles. No water for families. No milk for children. The breakfat was really very poor, no milk no coffee (only Nescafe). The toilets were fair but could be better in terms of cleanliness The transportation from the village to the camp was in an outdated and unconfortanle pickup. No animation during the night.
Nice meal in the evening chatting away with the bedouins. Great scenary.
Don't trust the Google maps location. Look for the Wadi Rum visitor centre.
Wonderful location, delicious food and a great crew!
Very friendly family that can get you to discover the whole wadi rum area. The scenery in the morning is excellent. Eveving by the fire was also good.
The most friendly "staff" i have ever seen! It was a great day and a funny evening in the desert! It was a really great pleasure. Of course you are in the désert and you cannot have all the facilities...but once you are aware of it, you can be confident in Ayesh team!
Nothing. Once again it was a great expérience...
It was what was expected for a camp experience such as open air toilets and showers. Bed was comfortable. Dinner was tasty. Staff was friendly
Thought towels would be provided
Wonderful friendly, welcoming, and entertaining Bedouin people, fantastic; whole desert trip incl. sunset, cooking excellent lunch and dinner for us; sitting around the fire with tea and listening to Bedouin stories...nice location behind the big rock with good walking opportunities around
Nothing to dislike.... just don´t expect 5-star hotel facilities - this is camping...and we found they have excellent facilities considering it´s in the desert
The opportunity to spend a night in Wadi Rum was magic, the food was terrific, the sunset breathtaking, and we fell in love with the camels. This was a family vacation we will never forget!
I was with my family (wife and daughter) a guest of the Bedouin Advisor camp this week. An absolutely great experience which I would recommend to anyone. Night and Stars are magical in Wadi Rum, and we also spend , as only guests that night, a great night with Ayesh and Eid and their family in the Advisor Camp.
The Wadi is a wonderful place, sunrise, sunset and starred nights are unforgettable. The people attending the cam were wonderful. Thanks Eid, Muhamad and others.
A memory I will cherish forever!!!Such an amazing experience of the Bedouin life! The setting in the tents in the middle of Wadi Rum with an amazing view (Beautiful Dessert and night sky with the falling stars!
The scenery, stunning, simply put. We went for hiking and we got what we wanted. Ayesh was a great guide, knew the best hiking places and got us there safely. The camp itself was very clean. The food was great, lots of supplies, water, shower facility and great company.
Location is fantastic and not close to other camps; bedouin dinner cooked under-ground; always available tea with sage; communial sitting area was great place to chill and chat to bedouin host. Eid, our host, is a lovely person and host and very flexible to meet our needs on what we wanted to do
Compared to other places in Jordan and Middle East, the food (except for the bedouin vegetables and meat that was cooked underground and was delicious and an experience to see how it is done) was only OK
Dinner was good and the Wadi Rum is wonderful.
We wouldn't choose for the Bedouin Advisor Camp again. We had a bad experience with the tour we've booked. We agreed on a 4 hour tour but were dropped at the village after 3 hours and had to pay for 4 hours (eur 75). Personnel didn't seem interested in the visitors, only in their money.
We loved staying at Bedouin Advisor Camp. Everybody was wonderful, funny with us. The cook was so nive and the meal so good. We apprecied also all activities their proposed.
