The only good part was the fact that is outside the unattractive city of Aqaba (10 km south) and close to a beach. This place was probably built in the '70s, cleaned once, and never again. The switches in my room (to turn lights on/off were filthy), the toilet leaked water all over the bathroom, the door to my room was broken.. I can go on and on.. Do not eat the breakfast (which is terrible anyway). The morning I was there, the guy bringing out 4 plates with food in them, sneezed all over them and all over the food, disgusting. My silverware had not been washed in days and had cheese glued to them.. The coffee mug still had coffee marks from days before.. My advice: if you cannot stay anywhere else, stay here, do not touch the food and especially do not use the 'pool' (I saw small kids swimming in there... And who knows when it was last maintained and cleaned). Oh, bring your own sheets and pillow cases too. Finally, be careful at the beach (especially for small children), it is full of broken glass...

Location close to the reefs is good for diving. But given the lousy hygiene and the poor standard, the Bedouin Garden Village Hotel is highly overpriced; even with its - to Jordanian standards - comparatively lower prices. For thos who want pay 70 JOD per room that is worth 20. They do not accept MasterCard, only cash or Visa. Breakfast is more than lousy (three slices of unwashed cucumber and three slices of unwashed tomato, both prepared the evening before and thus already dried, one egg, one triangle portion of soft cheese, one portion of confiture and a spoonful of hommos, all on one plate. There seem to be no real dish washing; cups, spoons, forks, plates etc. all show their history of previous meals; dishes seem to be washed with some drops of cold water if at all. Hygiene standards are below acceptability, also in the rooms. Bed cloths don't seem to be exchanged and cleaned for new room occupancy. There is no daily room cleaning service neither.

Great place right next to the beach, they can organize dive/snorkling excursions - the red sea is amazing. Loved the bedouin cosy lounge where you can meet the other travelers... Great atmosphere for young- alternative people. Don't expect luxury. Rooms could be cleaner.

What I liked about it that it was a calm little place thats also nice, I liked the diving shop crew even though I didn't go dive, I rent some mask and talked to them and I got the impression that they were professional and very helpful. The service in the resturant was okay and the prices were kind of good The front disk and the service to where you sit in case you ordered something was weak and you have to wait for a long time, they also have the worst hooka (sheesha) I ever had, seems like they need a hooka man (hooka expert), also they need to make sure they serve the juice cold and with some ice cause it is very hot in aqapa and the drinks will be warmer than you expect.

Lovely relaxed atmosphere - very friendly, helpful staff. The cleanliness of our room was dreadful. There was still toothpaste splatters from the previous occupants on the bathroom tiles, there were smears on the wall, the pillows on the bed did not seem as clean as they should. The whole room needed a thorough clean.

Preferable to Aquaba city when weather permits snorkeling. 11Km to city for food stores etc.is accomplished by taxi bargaining (1 Jodi/pers) or bus 0,5 Jodi from trafic signal by big flag . Relaxed atmosphere in bedouin style lounge or wind sheltered sunbeds by the pool. Staff is friendly and make efforts in satisfying your needs. Taxi from airport has "fixed" price 20 Jodir. Choose City Centre 7 Jodir and continue to South Beach for 5 Jodir

- All the staff was very friendly and helpful - they have really nice system of terraces where you can sleep or only hang around with an excellent view on the sea - The breakfast was really poor - we stayed two nights in the hotel - we didn't have a problem with hot water only that the stream of the water was really poor

The Bedouin Garden Village is a good place if you are looking for a budget hotel by the beach. The place has really nice hang out spots with sofas and matrasses, a nice pool and Wifi in the common area. The grilled lamb and chicken the serve at the restaurant is simple but good. The place is very close to the beach which is very convenient. The rooms are nothing fancy, the blankets could do with some airing out and the pillows are lumpy. You can also easily hear the people in the room right next to you. The waiter speaks very little English, which resulted in not really being able to understand what would be served at lunch/dinner. No wifi in the room. The area the place is in only has two other hotels, no shops or ATMs, so there is not much else to do. They charge 4.5% extra to pay with Visa card (and do not take Mastercard). Their shisha is nice but don't expect to have someone take care of it (like they do in some places in Aqaba/Petra for example) and keep it going for you, unless you ask.

15 minutes / 5JD taxi ride from Aqaba. Very peaceful, beach 50m - I am a diver, but the snorkling was OK, away - it can organise dives and has it's own snorkle kit for hire, plus its own small pool. Room was absoultely fine, and there was a mix of young and old couples, a family - but not with children running around being annoying. I am in Jordan on business staying in business hotels, but a back packer at heart and have not slept better. A bar would be good. It would be useful to have anti-fly spray on sale. The flies are the only thing that annoyed me.

The location was close to the sea. The place was family oriented and peaceful. There was an intensive care about the cleanliness of the swimming pool. The staff were gentle and helpful. The room door key hardly fits into the lock. It needs to be changed. The toilet does not flush completely, you may have to wait a refill for a complete flush. The bath room has poor smell recycling.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Bedouin Garden Village, because of the location, prices, and the atmosphere! The area was gorgeous and the atmosphere was very relaxing! I had one goal in Aqaba and that was diving. The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect for that! All the best dive sites were within walking distance, and after the diving day, the snorkeling was also Phinominal! Also, there is WiFi, and was that was very pleasing!

What a joy to stay again at Bedouin Garden Village...it is one of my most favourite places in Jordan to relax and unwind. It was as always outstanding value for money. We loved the swimming pool and loungers, thoroughly enjoyed the spectacular snorkelling in the Red Sea and were yet again impressed by the lovely, friendly service. I ate delicious fresh fish everyday in the restaurant which again is great value for money. I will just keep going back!

This hotel was unique with many small old fashion sitting areas to relax and enjoy your company. Everything in this hotel reminds you to just relax, enjoy your time and forget about your daily worries. The stuff was so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was among friends that I knew for a long time. Stuff was always at your service ready to accommodate you. I liked the fact that you can be so much in contact with nature and the country life at this hotel and still enjoy the commodity of modern life. I have no complains. If I have to choose again next time, I will choose the same hotel.

It had confortable beds, It is very near to the shore. I and my famuily didn't like the size of the room (family room), it was very small, for the number of beds in it. I thought that we will have a connected room, Frankly it was very expansive for the money we paid.Breakfast was very poor, I felt that if administartion is very avaricious. The water was without preasure at the shower so we did never enjoy the shower at all. The hotel was also very far from the city.
