The staff here are super friendly, and are extremely knowledgable about the area. Taleb and Mary were both tour guides so if you need/want advice on where to go, they are great resources for you, and can even arrange drivers and such for you if you want. The hotel restaurant also has amazing lentil soup: even if you don't like lentil soup, you will probably like this one (it's also reasonably priced, so you have nothing to lose).
The friendliness of the owner and his son. While Amman can be difficult to navigate, the owner made sure that you could get to anywhere in the city without any problems, the hotel location is on a very secure and quiet neighborhood, the room was confortable and after a long day a hot shower was very welcome.
- The friendliness of the staff - The roof top restaurant and its amazing view - The nice and very green ground-floor terrace - The people staying at the Caravan Hotel - Overall, the atmosphere is nice
- The style of the hotel may come across as somewhat old fashioned but you get used to it quickly!
location friendly staff nice view from rooftop restaurant
I had to pay by cash: the credit card machine was broken the whole time I was there.
Staff is very friendly. Hotel room is fairly good as the balcony is nice to see the church and mosque. Good location to reach the jett bus office.
No restaurants nearby, although not so far to reach the downtown. A little noisy in the night time.
This place has seen better days. It has a tired, worn out look and feel. And I don't think cleanliness was top of its priorities by a long way. In my room the bathroom light didn't work, it reeked of tobacco smoke, and traffic noise made sleep difficult. For what I paid, 25 GD, maybe I shouldn't have expected much; even so I wouldn't recommend it.
Sami was really nice, and they were flexible with our comings and goings.
The place was old, dilapidated and too expensive for what you get. No food in the hotel or withing 3 blocks of it.
