swimming pool location
old bilding bad staff
Entrance to spa is paid, pool is small with artifical waterfall, pushy staff always asking heavily if you need anything in order to get tips, Overpriced food menu..
The room and the breakfast was excellent
The staff was many times rude, the pool was shut down and there was no guide about the hotels facilities at check-in. The pipes in the roof made a loud clicking sound ij the middle of the night waking us up and the spa treatments were way too expensive, almost double that of four seasons
We are really disappointed! The hotel doesn't deserve to be 5 stars hotel! It's dirty, old with un-professional staff. Late service, no welcome drinks, and nothing in the mini bar (they said we have to request that!). Also, no tissues, no toothbrush! High rated hotel for nothing! We booked to get relaxing, not smoking smell everywhere!! We are really not satisfied.
The hotel is in a deep green valley and is blessed with a natural waterfall. A large balcony provides a great location for breakfast and sensational sunsets. By Jordan standards the service was good. Great mesage available.
The hotel needs an influx of cash from corporate headquarters to bring back the lustre. There is a no exterior food or beverage policy, while eating and drinking exclusively in hotel gets expensive. The location is remote and not signed. Really is a modest four star in a five star price range.
The staff were helpful. Check in timing was precise and we were informed our rooms were ready while we were swimming. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice of them.
The lack of restaurant. Food at the Brown Bar was bad. Ridiculously over priced dinner buffet with a very limited variety. No one answers the phone when you dial "0" Kids were loud and noisy at the pool, they shouldn't allow kids in the center pool. No service by the pool. Workers working on renovation were staring at the ladies bodies in a very inappropriate way. The spa pool should be part of the hotel facility and you shouldnt have to pay 38 jd to enter, what a rip off. Our sheets weren't so clean. Over priced and you dont get your paid value!
Everything is good except room maintenace.....
Staffs are not professional....
The spa - wonderful.
Service was quite slow in the restaurant. The kettle didn't work in the room. There was no poolside refreshment service and two of the poolside loungers were broken. An obligatory 10% service charge was added to all purchases - this should be discretionary. The spa menu was out of date - it should be changed and manicures/pedicures should be offered.
I was really impressed by the staff and espacially the duty manager who made sure all our requirement were fullfilled. Thank you again for the impressive room with an brethtaking view on the hot springs. we will come back for sure !!!
This is a beautiful hotel in a magical spot. The food is excellent
Like most around the Dead Sea area everything here is pricey. They have you captive (there's nowhere else to eat) so unlike the rest of the region, prices are western!
Great service Staff put in WIFI box in kids' room because WIFI was not strong enough SPA is amazing
The staff was so polite. The atmosphere is relaxing.
The prices was very high! The launch meal "open buffet" cost 140$ & 160$ for dinner for 2 person!? 4 pcs from the mini bar cost us 50$ for 1 bounty, 1 nuts, 1 small beer, 1 small water !!! that's unacceptable!! Our stay in this hotel for less than 16 hours cost cost us more than 700$ !! in the meanwhile we could stay 3 nights in 5 stars hotel with all inclusive in this money! We are not happy for this unreasonable prices! Also I found bugs in the bed!!
Hot spring. Room, restaurant, really beautiful hotel.
From hotel walk to public hot spring area, it's better have a shuttle bus.
The only thing that was nice was the outdoor surroundings. The natural landscape is beautiful.
The service is bad. Hotel is old and needs to be renovated. My husband and I work in the hospitality industry and we expected more of this hotel. Not worth the cost. Luckily, we only booked one night. The staff needs training and the culinary team needs to work on the food. I would visit the public hot springs and make it a day trip instead of an overnight stay.
nothing to do if you don't enter the spa where you have to pay 38jd only for entrance ????? they don't tell you the truth about the place i think the hotel as it is now deserves 2 stars no more
The spring and a nice view
The groom wasn't in a hurry to carry the luggages...We had to call the room service to have it...
I travel all the time. I have visited over 30 countries and this is the best place for service, location and real rest. I am looking forward to another stay this year. I never had such wonderful and thoughtful staff. They go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. This is my number one hotel in all the world.
No complaints. Just excellent remarks!!!
Site. Public foc warm waterfal at hot spring, 5' on foot fm hotel.
No road indications from south at Mukawer. Searing hot room on arrival. No cooling. Only nescafe at breakfast, no real coffee. Paying spa even at 200Euro/night. 50 Jod pp for buffet dinner. NO value for money. Haughteous mgt. Rough African furniture. Room with view on rooftop. Tah...
Great location, generally friendly staff, fair food, fair rooms
The excessive prices for everything - even by hard currency standards of five star hotels, no hot water on two mornings, told we have 5 minutes to complete breakfast one morning, no pool facilities at the hotel in winter - despite advertising the hotel as a Hot Springs Resort (you need to go to the health club, which is far away - and then you need to pay around US$100 pp for a day visit (which they waived for us after complaining) - or you must use the public pools which is far away
This is the only hotel around the Ma'In Waterfall/Hot Springs - and even though we were on a budget, on this stop around Jordan we decided to splurge a little. It's secluded and private, which is perfect! After our welcome drink -when they found out that one of us was about to celebrate a birthday, they upgraded us to a room with a view of the waterfall... and it was AMAZING. Imagine waking up to that! :) There are 4, actually 5 waterfalls in the area. One faces the hotel restaurant, beautiful - but only for aesthetic purposes. And two private ones – the spa's: which guests can use but need to pay an entrance fee, free for spa guests. But it was phenomenal! The hot spring waterfall emptied to a pool - and beside it, there was a "natural" sauna cave, which as expected smelled quite sulphuric - but an experience you cannot miss. This will give you access to drinks, lounge chairs and towels. The falls "behind" the spa is open to all hotel guests, which was deserted - but lovely, lounge chairs were available. There are 2 public falls. The first up at front is small and for families, the second is behind the staff housing – which is UNBELIEVABLE! I have to say, even better than the ones inside. In terms of amenities, there's benches and a shower room, and a small convenience shop. It's public though, and I can imagine how crowded it could be at peak season. When we arrived, it was a good 16º sooo... no one was crazy enough to go in but us. But the water is glorious! Level 1 was a warm 28º - 32º, Level 2 was about 45º – we spent a good 1.5hours there and came out bruised but happy, and the last one is where there's a cave with a natural steam room as well. HOT! The water gargled to a boil. :) Someone did mention that this is one of the most densely oxygenised places - i haven't checked on that, but the air was crisp and absolutely energising. The spa itself is great, it's by the Six Senses after all.
a bit expensive but our stay was amazing!
We loved EVERYTHING! The staff most of all. They were an amazingly personable and helpful group of people, including the cleaning staff. The chefs made 5 star dining food and the pastry chef rocked the deserts. The facilities and spa were gorgeous, and just a short walk away from from an amazing public waterfall. We didn't want to leave!
Be cognizant of the fact that Jordan is not a cheap destination. There are expensive taxes levied on goods and services throughout the country.
It is very special hotel: location, spa, area. Worth to see.
The ecological approach taken by the hotel was refreshing and professional, without compromising on comfort. The hotel has its own vegetable and herb garden and cooks only with organic ingredients. We could tell with the tasty and fresh food available!
The main pool was closed for repairs due to a recent rockslide because of a major storm - but the hotel more than made up for it by providing free access to the Six Senses spa.
The location is beautiful, and the SPA is comfortable. The restaurant is great.
The room service was slow
The location and hotel's design are amazing. It's a attraction itself for Jordan.
The years are starting to show, so the hotel needs urgent refitting if it wants to remain a top class hotel. Although, it's still an amazing 5 star hotel.
