Great service, great people
good location. in summer the outside bar is great.
Avoid Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat - noise from disco can disturb. Choose a top floor room!
breakfast is good, staff is nice and room is clean
it is a bit cold in the rooms, and wifi is only 200 mb for free, if you pass it you have to pay 10 JD
Very friendly staff who arranged a few things for us. Nice and comfortable.
Wi_fi was not good
The hotel exhibits true Jordanian hospitality.Ahmed at reception arranged a car & driver + pick up on arrival . Travelled over 1500 km very reasonably priced..Excellent value for money in this boutique hotel. Good full breakfast.Large comfortable room.
Food was great and the location is fantastic.
The facility is located at the center of amman in between the main circles covering all amman city Staff is very helpful Rooms are clean and elegant Recommended for ahort and long trips
staff very nice and very good service.
the room a bit tacky. surrounding area with residential and embassies. nothing interesting place around that area.
Quiet location Clean Big double bed Relatively cheap
Taxis a rip off from hotel Breakfast was limited A lot of building work near hotel so quite noisy in morning (not their fault) Pillows and air con could be better
Very friendly and helpful staff, small hotel and in a quiet neighbor, when not overrun with cars and young people at night at the bar scene that is the hotel.
It is a nice, older, facility, but more a night club that a hotel. there are two bars associated with the hotel, which is small, and the bar patrons overrun the hotel. further, I was told I could not eat in the outside bar as that was reserved for bar guests; everything is geared to the bar business, and alcohol, which was strange in a muslim country. regarding food, no fruit or fruit juice for breakfast, but staff will make omlettes. the staff is excellent and friendly and ready to help.
I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel: - lovely staff - the bars and the restaurants in the hotel were great - Owners very friendly
Upper Floor renovated rooms. Rooftop cocktails with city views.
Gritty carpet in in renovated rooms. Wifi login. Poor breakfast. Construction. Had to demand a renovated room.
staff are very good .... friendly very helpful we had special condition when we got in there they helped us a lot.
Wifi !!!!! :( god WiFi is bad in there people say smoking kills but WiFi over there kills.
The facilities are great...it is a shame that the hotel is not managed better to maximize the best experience for guest. Guy's please remember it is the little things that count most.
I spent four nights at the Hisham Hotel in Amman Jordan. My initial impression of the room was positive as it was spacious and I found the bed to be comfortable. I noticed an ammonia cleaning smell when I entered the bathroom but it did not mask the odor coming from what smelled like backed up drains and/or sewer pipes. Despite the toilet being cleaned daily these vapors persisted. The bathroom was always spotless in appearance but the smell made me think it was not clean. I had a similar experience when walking on the floors in a pair of light colored socks. The floors were mopped daily and looked clean but the bottom of my socks told a different story after only a few minutes. From this point forward I wore flip flops when I was in the room and when taking showers. There are two bars located on the property and it was impossible for me to sleep before 2:am in the morning when the bars closed down due to the loud music and noise coming from those locations. As a result of this I slept late each day and did not make the most of my trip to see what Amman has to offer. It is also worthy to note that the hotel is not within convenient walking distance to the old city/city center as advertised. Walking to the downtown area will take 35 to 40 minutes if you do not get lost. These areas are best reached by taxi for tourist who are not familiar with the city. Fortunately cabs are not expensive when compared to the us or Europe. I found the staff to be friendly but utterly lacking in initiative, motivation and customer service. Two instances demonstrated this observation. First instance: I had difficulty using the three prong wall socket to charge my laptop. The plug was configured correctly with two prongs and a third opening for the ground rod but the spacing was not correct and the plug did not fit. Upon closer examination I found signs where the wall socket displayed signs of forced entry.
Staff were friendly.
Construction works near the hotel were very loud. The room air conditioner was too noisy to be turned on at night.
I recommended for single travel ... Excellent.
No toilet sprayer.
It was well located and just what we expected and staff were very helpful. Breakfast served outside on a very pleasant little side street.
Friendly staff. The credit card machine was broken so this was inconvenient as I had to go to the ATM for cash.
The rooms were smokey and dirty. The carpet which was supposed to be cream colored was practically gray. I came down with the flu as a result of the dirty room. I would not stay here again. The value for the money after you add in tax and other charges is no bargain. You are better off staying at a fancier hotel.
I was given a room which I didn't like because it was small and the window was facing a wall but staff was very helpful and next day they let me choose from 5 rooms. Hotel has 4 bars with lovely staff. Food in the restaurant was nice, depsite poor breakfeast. I will recommend this hotel, deffinetly.
Very poor breakfest, almost nothing good to eat.
Location is like a hide out near the city.
Construction works near the hotel. I paid in Euros and they exchanged my Euros at a rip off price. Almost they sold me the Dinar at 50 Percent more.
Only reception people
Outside my room, there is nothing in the hotel except a Bar. I went there once to have a meal, I stayed for less than one minute, then the bar manager came and he asked me to leave!! I told him I have a room in the same hotel, he said that they allow only people who have a membership! If you believe this is a good way to welcome you as a guest, go ahead and book in that stupid hotel. By the way, I booked for 4 nights, but I left in the second day.
What I like there s a simple bed and a shower.
I didn t like the noise of the baby crying at 6 or 7.
The staff was lovely! So helpful.
Wi Fi would not work, so we had no internet.
