Location is perfect- room service is great and punctual, they say 39 minutes and food is delivered within this time. Excellent Staff at Reception and spa and other outlets. Three major Restaurants, Lebanese, Mexican and Indian the best in town. We loved it
it was a short stay but will definitely return:)
I like the location
The reception area not furnished well and very close and open to the breakfast area
Staff and food and service
Additional taxes on bill
IC Amman is my favorite hotel in Amman for 20 years. It combines Middle Eastern atmosphere and hospialty with Western luxiary. The lunch I had at the Burj el Hammam restaurant was excellent. So was the shuttle service to the airport.
My room,775, as wellas the adjacent 773 were non-smoking rooms. But my neighbor from 773 was a heavy (nargila?) smoker, and HIS smoke infiltrated unbearably to my room.
Internet charged which is first time to me to see like this , one hour 15 JD which is also very expensive.
Club lounge Friendly staff
Nothing around the hotel
The hotel was expensive and we expected to receive service in line with what we paid. However, when we checked-in for our stay late in the evening after a long flight, we were told that they could not give us the room we had requested (a king bed, non-smoking). Instead, my husband and I were told we had to choose between a smoking king room or a non-smoking room with double beds for our three night stay. It took going down to reception three times in the early hours of the morning to ask about being given a non-smoking room until we pointed out to them that we knew they had a room available because they had originally asked us when we checked in if we wanted to pay significantly more to upgrade into a bigger king/non-smoking room for them to offer us an upgraded room that fit the requirements of the room we had originally booked. While the upgraded room was nice, it shouldn't take a five star hotel three discussions to come to the conclusion that they need to upgrade your room and accommodate the request you made in the originally booking. It was not the kind of service I would expect from an InterContinental and I will think twice about returning to one again.
The shampoo and shower gel
The bed was comfortable Tv channels had great variety Pool view was amazing Security was superb service was very good and the hotel is updated doesn't look old or worn out
the noise in the hallway can be heard in the room clearly which was irritating more should be done to cancel the noise
The staff not well train for such job as 5* hotel
The food and service was excellent and the location is handy for shopping and sight seeing.
Additional taxes on bills. Beer and wine were very expensive
+ Location + Facilities + Spacious rooms + Able to check in before normal time + Very friendly and helpful staff
- Had to pay for the Wifi - Were only informed that the gov't tax was not included in the price
Staff were always avaliable and eager to help, position right on the dead sea, accomodation in Ishtar terrace superb.
Spa treatments excellent but building a little austere, very minor point.
the staff are business oriented, totally efficient, handling late Avis car return seemlessly. The executive floor lounge is like a good airport lounge - worth the cost
the executive lounge closed ts food too early
Service and people were very good
the staff were very helpful and pleasant
Restaurant last order is at 11:00 pm, which is considered a bit early especially on a Friday.
Good instalations (gym, swimming pool). Good treatment from the staff.
The price is much higher than the level of quality of the hotel, probably because it's an emblematic building. The rooms are good but not as good as luxury hotels with similar prices. In addition to this, basic services such as breakfast and wifi here are considered as extras.
Every thing it was amazing.
They charge me for barking 2 Dinar bar day.
The Service was excellent. The food was excellent. The service, breakfast and hospitality on the club floor was excellent. Check-in was smooth and efficient as was check out
Amazing staff and great room. Could not have asked for anything more!
