Great location and friendly stuff!
A bit cold, but again it was winter.
- the possibility of making excursions with others travelers (thanks Djamil!) - the breakfast
- the location: between two important roads (!noise) - some bathrooms are small and obsolescent (no shower head !!!) - additional charge to pay for the lockers (not nice if you are in a dorm)
The bed is super comfortable. The AC/heating works well. The staff are extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast is the best! Definitely worth the money!
Jehad on the front desk is such an accommodating and welcoming guy. He makes you feel settled immediately and can help you with anything in Jordan you want to do.
The only thing I don't recommend is the washing service. No launderettes around and the service is very expensive. That's it though.
The staff are very helpful and friendly. Really good free breakfast and sociable common area.
WiFi does not seem to extend to the rooms on the 3rd and 4th floors, though it worked a bit on the 2nd floor. Bathrooms on the 3rd/4th floors are too cramped for comfort and flood quickly, again the 2nd floor is better. Hot water is a bit erratic.
Great location downtown and very helpful staff. Good breakfast.
The rooms where pretty cold when we were there in December. The wifi worked sometimes, sometimes not. A lot of noise from the traffic at night.
Outstanding central position, convenient for eating, sights, shops; extremely friendly helpful staff: nothing was too much trouble for them & with good planning for trips to further sights; good facilities in a small area, good Wifi, excellent punctual breakfast, comfortable beds
Bathroom floor drain didn't work well, traffic noise (inevitable from the excellent site), bedrooms a bit run down in decoration.
The staff were friendly and helpful most of the time. It was a very good location to be based for visiting the North and West of Jordan.
The trips which are run by the hotel come with lots of hidden additional costs, trip cost was stated as JD23 the real cost was almost JD80. None of these costs were mentioned before hand.
The location is perfect - literally 100m from the Roman Amphitheatre. The staff were also extremely helpful in organising any sort of tour or accommodation in other cities in Jordan & Israel.
Not being allowed to bring my own food or drink into the hostel (a very minor gripe)
Its strategic location and excellent tour packages!
Location and breakfast are the only good things of the hotel
Rooms are really bad, depressing. Towels were stinking. It was a cold winter, the heater of my room was not working (I had to move to another room after a complaint), nor the hot water. Internet (available only at the "lobby") was so slow that after 10 minutes I gave up. Bathroom is permanently soaked, since shower and toilet are in the same tiny space, and there's no shower curtains. Really bad place.
Nice and helpful staff, tasty breakfast and central location.
It's surrounded directly by two busy roads. The level of street noise in our room was high, even with windows closed.
Easy walking distance to many sight in Amman. Friendly and helpful staff can help arrange cabs or day trips. Surprisingly quiet considering its location.
Nice and helpful staff The hotel propose a lot of excursions anywhere in Jordan and has a lot of connexion
Helpfulness of reception.
Broken locks on door. Door that only closes when you lock it. Tiny bathrooms. Very small basin in room. Low water pressure. Noisy streets and windows that don't fully close; hard to sleep. Missing bedsheet. Closet with collapsing shelves. Broken toilet covers. Overall a very run-down place. If I hadn't prepaid for 3 nights I would have moved to a different hotel.
The breakfast was really good and I did a trip to the north which was really good. You can join the trips and stay somewhere else though.
The toilet was very broken so that the top was smashed and to flush it you had to put your hand in the cyctern. There were no instructions so often people didn't do it. Not nice. Also no lockers or bins in the dorms. There were lockers outside the rooms but you had to pay extra for them.
Very good location, helpful, very western orientated. good breakfast
at this place doesn't rule the jordanian hospitality, here rules the greed for money - sadly
This hotel is located downtown pretty much next to the roman theatre which is brilliant. As a solo traveller, The main attraction is the 'shared tours' it offers which is great for meeting other people to travel together with.
Location - hostel is at the junction of 2 very busy roads, which meant a lot of traffic noise.
Location, location, location (everything is near - Roman Amphitheater, Citadel, markets). Everything was nice - breakfast, staff. Our room was a private room with twin beds, we had our separate shower and toilet. So, no complaints. Beds were confortable enough. It's more of a hostel, so my expectations were totally in line with the reality :) We booked some day trips with the hotel, and they were really enjoyable, our drive/guide was excellent.
A bit noisy as it's right in the middle of downtown. There can be no hot water late in the evenings as everyone is taking shower and there's none left. But one can take shower in the morning and problem solved!
Location, location, location! You'll be right in the middle of downtown. The staff is friendly and helpfull. They will help you organise day-trips and maybe you'll be lucky and will get the same driver that we had - he was excellent, chatty and knowledgeable. Breakfast is good. Remember it's a hostel :)
A bit noisy - as the hotel is located near 2 big streets, the traffic noise will get to you eventually. Do not forget your ear plugs, or be dead tired in the evening :)
Met alot of new friends Good trips organised by the hostel Clean Transfer from the airport-safety
Day trips/ airport transfer can be expensive
The location was central. Close to the Roman theatre and the downtown shops. Staff were pretty friendly & helpful.
Quite a noisy location. The room was very basic. Had a shower but it was almost over top of the toilet.
