the room service, is not that professional in the room cleaning as expected. the bed matres was tooo bad and very uncomfortable.

I ordered a takeaway breakfast for the next day but it was not prepared. I also asked about the taxi and they told me just 2 min' before leaving.. when i went asking a taxi it took me 30 min watting..
Nothing at all
No coffee or tea inside the room No Taxi belong to the hotel
Spa facilities is not functioning, as jacuzzi is not temperature controlled nor the jacuzzi floor tiles are clean, steam room out of order, etc... More. Non smoking room has smoke odor. Food at booth restaurant are at all not acceptable. Bread several days old. And much more to complain about.at least I have a list of 10 further things to mention. Finally I strongly suggest kempinski world wide management to go and visit the hotel if they really care about there hotel brands.
Christmas decorations were nice
-sheet was put right on mattress, without mattress cover -curtain was torn -shower head old and unmovable -had to call reception to reach any extension even for roomservice. Then they say they will call you back but they dont. Very frustrating. -internet only works if you sit near elevator outside, not in your room. -food and beverage sparse and not 5 star standard in executive lounge -hotel really didnt remind me of a Kempinski property. Very disappointing.

Staff made an effort to welcome us and make sure we were happy. Breakfast was good local food. We enjoyed sitting in shade in pool area to recoup after being out in heat. There are small supermarkets and take away food places in easy walking distance. We liked being away from main tourists area.
In Amman down town hotels are old and noisy. This hotel is further out but clean and relaxed. We had to use taxis to get to city area. It's a choice you make.
The hotel was a real 5 Star hotel.

The noise of the construction next door
The kindness and willigness to help is the best the hotel has. Five starts for the staff. Management response was good and quick. Issues raised were all solved during our stay. Food is nice and tasty but dishes like consistency Hotel is clean and room service is prompt and good
Pool and particularly the gym are quite regular for a five stars hotel. Rooms are quite small for the average Kempinski quality elsewhere and even in comparison to cheaper hotels. Unless you are willing to complain and review the accounts you can get wrong prices and bad rooms Staff should be morr proactive in suggesting the staff activities and prices
The swimming pool
the location is extremely good and very strategic; most of the times you don't need transport to get to a restaurant or a coffee shop and many others things. The staff is so nice and professional
Poor house keeping service i.e. many times I have to call the reception that we the room is left without towels or the bed sheets are not changed or no shampoo...etc The bathroom in ground floor coffee shop has no water!!! and many times we spoke to the duty manager but all in vain !! we believe that the management of Kempinski hotel is deteriorating as I'm regular customer of it for the last 10 years and can tell exactly what went wrong....unfortunately if they don't fix these managerial issues I can assure them they may go bankrupt or demoted to 2 stars

Staff were endlessly polite and engaged. The rooms and public areas are attractive and comfortable. Free wifi is much appreciated and seemed to work well.
I had several niggles while I was staying for four days. Service in the bar, unlike anywhere else in the hotel, was slow and it was difficult for me to be understood. Elsewhere in the hotel the staff spoke better English. I ordered a beet salad from the a la carte menu which is far from cheap and what came after 20 minutes, was a nice mixed salad with neither beets or beet leaves. I could not make myself understood with the waiter to comment on this and did not take it further. I had another meal which cost £30 and was poor: a chicken curry. And on another occasion some very dry roast chicken pieces. I did not eat in the restaurant the last night as I was fed up with paying so much for poor food. Overall I felt the staff tried very hard and this was Ramadan so they were probably feeling pretty rough. Watching westerners eat and drink must be very galling.
the attitude of the manager of the time out bar, while it was clearly empty he was insisting that it was fully booked. bad strategy for his way of promoting the outlet.
