Bath/shower very slippery and unsafe. No fan in bathroom. Must reconnect to wifi very day. Room carpents need changing,
The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. The bathroom was clean, if a little austere. The cheese platter served in the bar was incredibly good. The view over Amman from the Sky Bar is very good.
Don't even think that there is such a thing as "non-smoking" in the hotel - it is clear that smoking is allowed everywhere. The breakfast room was small and generally overcrowded. As a restaurant, it also closes a half an hour before the advertised time. The wifi service was shockingly poor
Spacious elegant room, decor, beautiful lounge area, great bar on M floor
Food service staff a bit slow and forgetful, wifi on and off
All in all really bad hotel.
The staff are the best thing about this hotel. Varied breakfast incl. gluten free bread. Evening international buffet is good and well-priced. Attractive lobby, good sized rooms with interesting design layout. Driver to Petra for the day was good and clean car. Very expensive at 170JD + 26% tax for 9 hours in BMW.
Keep in mind that this is a a high-rated hotel and charges accordingly. Our AC/heating didn't work the first night and we boiled. Called reception at midnight to try and fix it - told us there was no cooling option and to open a window. Lots of street noise. Slept very badly. We were moved rooms the next day, but this took a total of 3 hours of waiting. We ran out of time to see some sites in Amman as a result. The area behind the toilet seats - in both rooms - was yellow from urine, with hairs. Design of toilet seats doesn't help, but we saw it immediately, which means the managers must know about it too. We were given breakfast free as compensation. But when being charged that much for room and having to wait so long for a new room, free breakfast isn't great. I called twice before arriving with quick questions about transport to the hotel and check in times. On one call I was put on hold constantly and spoke to FOUR different people, each asking for details of my reservation. I was eventually passed back to the original desk, who said no, there is no airport pick up. A simple no to start with would have been enough. We asked the staff to help us get a taxi. A taxi driver said it was 7JD to go to Downtown. The staff member didn't say a word. We bartered down to 5JD as taxi driver said this was metered rate. Staff member stood right next to us and only us, didn't say anything and waved us off. Next day we found it was a 1.70JD journey, maximum. Nice that the staff look out for their guests. Lastly, the photos on the hotel website for SkyLounge suggest that you can have a meal there, as does the description of 'mouthwatering menu'. We went for dinner and not a single table was laid up and we were told it only did snack food. There were not any other guests there. The Asian food restaurant in the hotel is hilariously priced at 30JD ($42) for a main meal and a single chocolate bar in the mini bar was 5.5 Jordanian dollars ($7.
Decoration and colours Lobby furniture Size of room too small
The suite was exactly as they show it on the site, very clean and nice, we had a wonderful honeymooners welcome decoration, breakfast was good.
The checkout process it was annoying
Hospitality and the vallet service cleaness of the place and its relatively high tech
The room service was ridiculously expensive I had extra money on my room account so id order food to my room but they didn't accept to put the bill on the room so I had to pay cash three times and each time he had to go and bring the bill he was polite though..it was new years eve the sky bar had a party and the music base was felt in the room the view of the room was awfull and the accomedants next to me were extremely loud the breakfast was 20 jds plus plus and it was ridiculously expensive and it wasn't worth it the room electric sockets didn't work properly I had to charge my phone and my laptop away In the toilet
There is no plase for nerkilaa
good stuff, good location
lazy house made, and frying oil taste very bad. in Breakfast. nightclub sound too high after midnight
Not professional No room phone guide Wrong information Extra money than announced
I liked the location at the same time the services .
nothing that I did not like
1- furnature style 2- new & clean 3- cooperative staff 4- delicious & wide variety breakfast
1- breakfast price 2- wi-Fi
Not allow to bring the food from out side the hotel
poor Wifi poor service no proper cleaning hair dryer and scale were defected
The hotel is first class for a quick overnight visit. The rooms are well equipped, the staff are brilliant, the welcome is efficient and well handled
the only poor services are: 1. Internet- to pay extra is churlish and unacceptable in this day and age 2. if you ask them to call a taxi it costs 6 times the amount. EG> they arranged one to Taj Mall and it cost 12 dinar. We got our own on return and it cost 2 dinar. I cancelled the booking to the airport the following day and booked my own from an internet phone number. He was great and it was 22 dinar.....naturally, I tipped well as it was 04.30!
house keeping no enough towels and toilitries
Staff not genuinely customer friendly - going through motions only. Excessive rates charged for taxi fare to Petra. Asked staff at concierge desk if bus available to Petra - they said no which I later found was untrue
View Location They call me after i check out because they find my lost ring
Air condition is cold and cant control from the room I dont like security men on the inlet door
Execellent location, nice interiors amazing glass showcase bathroom. A couple of minir details missing but a really nice hotel nonetheless!
No lotion, electric socket in bathroom wasn't working.
