It was out of the noise and traffic of Petra, so it was very quiet. Staff were excellent and very helpful. The toilet did not work properly and needed to be flushed two or sometimes three times. Hotel needs to install water saver models.

Superb view. Staff are polite, friendly and helpful. Be aware - There is no such thing as a double room at this hotel, There are twin rooms (each bed is nearly a double bed size though) and executive suites with king size beds. Facilities are poor, but this is common in Petra presumably because of the reason that people go there. The other Movenpick is closer (right next to) the Petra entrance and has an outdoor pool.

The location was awesome. The foyer and welcome were v good. The swimming pool was lovely but it seemed odd to be indoors. Towels were very nice. Staff were friendly. Car parking was safe and secure. Air con was effective. It seemed ridiculous to have a kettle with a plug that did not fit the socket. When we discovered this and requested an adaptor it took a long time to come. 5* rating seemed too high - the carpets on our floor were tatty. Food was very over priced. Restaurant was noisy; as we weren't in 'a group' we felt slotted in the corner rather than being able to enjoy the best of the restaurant (we weren't even able to see what it was like).

A spacious lobby and restaurant. Staffs were friendly, though some of the staffs were not polite enough for high class hotel. Beverages are free of charge and they refill every day.. We stayed superior twin room. The room was old, especially bath room. It is very small and old. It has bathtub but very narrow and old. It is not so comfortable to use. Although this hotel is bit far from the Petra, it should have benefit to see nice mountain view. There is terrace but it is too small, even a chair cannot be. I wonder who can enjoy a beautiful prospect from there. This hotel must not be five stars hotel.

“Amazing resort, great staff, exceptionally clean and spacious rooms which are decoarated well and extremely comfortable. The actual hotel is really nice with an impressive moroccan inspired courtyard in the centre. There is also a lovely relaxing and clean pool area. Breakfast was delicious - huge range of freshly prepared food. Location is amazing - on the doorstep of Petra! We were only there for 1 night but comfortably saw the sights (especially enjoyed the night show!). Excellent customer service - had a problem which the Manager dealt with in a very efficient and satisfactory manner. We would definately stay here again and recommend to everyone.” Sazeda, Romford, Essex |
