The Location was Excellent it was right in front of the Petra.
The Wi-Fi service was very bad.
Very nice stay, friendly stuff, made arrangements for our honeymoon and everything was great
very good hotel. the best location
- Excellent location in front of Petra's site place - Clean
- Pillows - Service poor at sometimes despite the positive attitude.
The team of hotel were very helpful and hospitable.
Food by the pool was not good. One of technology rooms had a very bad smell coming front the a/c. I made a complain but maintenance team didn't resolve it.
Located right at the entrance of Petra, which is fantastic Nicely decorated
Horrible service, staff was not helpful, plates and glasses were not cleaned during our three-night stay. Well bellow average from what it is expected of a five-star "resort".
Room and location is great

We were so close to the entrance of the historical sites, it was perfect. The staff was very kind and efficient, we felt really taken care of. There are a lot of craft stores around the hotel, and we've found the best prices in Jordan for souvenirs, though it was a low season period.
For a 5 star hotel, I've missed more options of restaurants inside the hotel, and the pool is actually small and the sun doesn't stay most of day time.
Placed in the city center; really kind staff. Excellent service and quality.
Staff, rooms location are very fine. Thank you for the well done work. I hope Movenpick starts to have a loyalty programs such as other nice hotels.
Prices of the restaurants does not conform with the diversity of the offered food. I can take better food for much one fifth of the price in the restaurants next to the hotel.
Duty manager was v good and helpful V nice decoration.
Breakfast can be better.
reception: when we reach the place we asked when the room was ready:1pm so we waited to go to visit Petra but the room end up being ready at 2.30 and we had to run into the site and couldn't visit properly. Minibar was empty, 3 calls to get it. Food is poor and expensive.
We had seen movenpick hospitality before and this one was no different. Very good and trained staff and ready to help every time. Breakfast was average quality but this was seen across Jordan hotels. But the best is its location. After a few hours of site visit, it is very relaxing to be back in hotel in 2 minutes.
The air-condition in the hotel (lobby as well as rooms) was not cool enough. In case you need a baby sitter when you go on the site visit (highly recommended as Petra site is no way children friendly), it is very expensive.
Hotel is located very conveniently to the welcome center.
Rooms requested were not given as reserved, when rooms were given they were not adjoining as requested. One of the rooms smelled of sewer and the AC was not working and was not fixed when requested. When asking for a solution a portable AC unit was offered which turned out to be a floor fan. The noise from the street and Ac units under the windows made it impossible to try to sleep with the windows opened because of the heat in the room.Lights were not on in halls on our floor and when asked to be turned on they would be off again later. Food at the buffet made me sick on the first night at dinner. Wifi had very poor signal finally gave up trying to use it and on day two of the trip expired.
The Maintenance was very bad. Room temperature was 25 c most of the time. Coffee machine was brokrn and they repalced it with another broken one. Before all, first when we arrives we had to wait 45 min for our bags.
Great interior and right next to the entry to Petra and restaurants just up the road.
The TV didn't work but we did have wifi.
Everything from the minute you walk in the door will amaze you. This hotel caters for everyone and is convenient in location to the entrance of the Rose City.
I've nothing bad to say.
Room was very clean, but balcony had cigarette ends and remains of crisps.
Literally opposite the gates to Petra - well worth it given that you'll be doing hours of walking inside the Petra complex itself. Definitely worth the money for a) the location and b) the comfort after a hard day's walking. There's a nice pool too, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast.
The room is quite basic for 5* - but to be fair also good value for 5*!
Location great, very clean & comfortable premises, good gym & pool. Great buffet dinners
The staff weren't quite as good at speaking English as I hoped
The hotel has the perfect location for tourists into Petra as it is right in front of the entrance. There are local restaurants just around the corner with good food.Overall good clean hotel with all amenities,oh and nice breakfast!
The position of the hotel is a premium factor. It is almost on the doorstep of the Petra ticket office. The hotel's facilities and it's service are set at a very high level. Expensive - possibly, and we all have different budget thresholds, but this is value for money make mistake. Service was carried through beyond check out - thanks (the really) front of house guys for the 'jump leads' and help starting our car!!
Location; spaciousness, cleanliness and comfort of the room
The food (we ordered a la carte) at the buffet restaurant was really poor and also poor value for money.
Staff we're lovely, kind, helpful and had excellent manners. Nice extras such as face cloths, bath robes. Room was spacious with good storage space.
Wifi password ran out after midnight which meant when I woke up in the middle of the night I had no internet access.
