눉for a 5 star hotel, it does not meet expectations: chamber maid did not make the bed or clean the coffee cups; one day she didn't show at all; engineering did not fix light in very dark hallway outside room despite three requests - staff told me to attend to it!; reception at spa extremely slow, confused, ignored my stated injury when recommending therapies; spa facilities under renovation, those things that draw the customer are not there: Dead Sea pools, thermarium, etc; but still charging full rates; happy hour is nice but only one hour and only applied to beer. Breakfast staff made me feel unwelcome and in the way of buffet take down when I arrived at 10:15. Breakfast is served to 10:30 according to the brochure. Stale coffee, pouty staff. We stayed in a garden room. Early each morning awakened early by gardeners yakking loudly. On and on. On the last morning at 6:30 a very loud machine came on outside the window waking us up. Something for the flies. Flies are a problem, but guests want to sleep past 6:30 when they go on vacation. I went there for rest and relaxation, which I got, but I spent far too much time dealing with the facility for things that are simply expected of a 5 star hotel.
