The facility is just amazing.
The internet was down all the time during our stay, we had to go near the lobby to get access. The service overall didn't match 5 star standards.
Landscape Gardens and Trees Breakfast
Slow Service Respond Poor Internet Service

Rooms... Resort quality ... Food ... Facilities
The stile of building
The rooms was not ready .I chick in at 5:00. When I chick out the hotel did not know how much I payed and I should pay. Also the air condition does not work well.
It's a very lovely quite Hotel, Tropical-eastren themed, However my only note is that the furniture is a little old and needs renovation!
uncomfortable, the room wasn't clean
A person smoking a sigaret at the counter were not asked not to by the staff
I've been going to the Movinpick Dead Sea for years and never had a complaint. The facilities are lovely and simple and the staff accommodating. The restaurants are also above average, albeit, a bit expensive.
Well, this was the first time that I was completely underwhelmed. Our room wasn't ready until an hour after the check in time and it stank of smoke - I asked for a nonsmoking room. After another hour we were given another room - not fully equipped - bathrobes, full set of toiletries, water, etc. Also, the area (in the Village) wasn't clean - trash outside the door. Unbeknownst to us until we tried to eat there, the Grille Restaurant was closed for Ramadan - our only option was Luigi's, which was really just ok. On the second night we ate in the main restaurant buffet - note that the main restaurant was also closed and meals served in another location. All I can say is that the food was horrible. The restaurant was too crowded - and did not take reservations and people had to wait to be seated. Breakfast was similar although the food was a bit better. I want to note that I have stayed at this hotel more than a dozen times over the years and never experienced anything like this. The management was not prepared for the higher than average occupancy rate (told to me by the staff) - but did nothing to adjust - like opening up another restaurant. Overall, not a great weekend.
The access to the Dead Sea is phenomenal. It is set in a wonderfully relaxing environment. Privacy is protected. The lifeguards are attentive and helpful for less experienced swimmers- I saw one helping a lady float.
The staff appeared flustered and to not care when we arrived. Prices are terribly high for meals and drinks (typical resort). The food is not of a high standard, and meal times can feel chaotic and crowded like a shopping centre food court. A big difference could be achieved if staff were trained and managed at a higher level to deliver luxury service to match the prices.
The location and facilities are very good.
The minibar fridge doesn't cool properly and this is the second time this happens. The tvs are very old...
The staff, the the rates were convenient. The breakfast was good.
The fire alarm broke and people were exiting their rooms by 6:30 am. At check in we entered to find an empty napkin box and a spider! The TV wasnt working! All black and white! When we tried to deliver our message to the receptionist while checking out he didnt seem to care!
Enjoyed the location for sure. The deco was really good and tastefull. Quite good facilities with really nice pool areas. Room was ok nice view and bif veranda although we didnt really sit there much.
Majority of the staff spoke poor English and someone would expect in a Swiss chain resort to see staff who do actually speak English. Food, water, drinks definitely overpriced. The room was clean when we arrived but 2nd day towels were not changed and the cleaning staff left the used glasses in the room without changing them. I mean these would be details I wouldnt notice in a 3 star hotel but in a resort like this I would expect service to be immaculate. No slippers as well in the room I would expect also quite a lot complimentary water taking into account the really high temperatures in the Dead Sea this time of the year.
We had an amazing stay at the hotel. The place is beautiful and when compared to the Marriott (where most of our friends stayed as we were attending a wedding) we clearly made the best choice and it was actually cheaper! I loved the style of the building architecture and overall layout of the hotel venue. The breakfast was also very impressive.
Late check in - only at 4pm, doesnt help when you arrive super tired of your long trip.
The hotel was filled with beautiful landscape. The location was great and the over all design of the hotel was just breathtaking. Very well taken care off.
We drove 3hrs from the Movenpick Petra which was excellent with their customer service to the dead sea Movenpick and were very surprised how awful the reception was. They for one took forever to check in each individual. They did not explain any of the restaurant option to us, no hotel information that is normally give. They were very rude and did nothing to make us feel comfortable being there.
Good resort with nice view&location.
We had to wait 4!!! hours for our room!
Checking in was a nightmare. The rooms were not ready when promised and much of our short trip was wasted trying to get into our room. Do not arrive on a Friday!!
Well if it's your first time in the Dead Sea , then the location is great the beach is good , and easy to access ( if you don't mind walking a little ) or you can wait a golf car
Well I've tried Movenpic years before when it first opened , and it was much cleaner like some furniture wasn't that clean in the room , and I always said that the food in Movenpic was one of the best , but I was really disappointed that the breakfast was really bad for a 5 stars hotel , the service is slow ... At the end I would recommend kampnski better specially if you were group of guys
The hotel was overestimated I won't recommend it to anyone and they charged me more than what I was given as total. They gave us towel instead of a decent pillow
Good place, nice staff. very good facilities. we have enjoyed it.
the price. I believe we should have paid 25%-30% less
Location and facilities, bfast buffet selection
