reception staff were very helpful & nice. The security team was very friendly especially to our little daughter (2 years). A special thanks to the receptionist called Sohaib (vey nice, helpful and welcoming)
The waiters at the pool bar were not trained enough. They didn't know about the menu enough. Also at another incident I bough an ice cream for my family and I didn't have change. I gave the guy a 50 JD bill and he said: "give me change as I don't have!" I asked him to get change even if I had to wait! There is a way in dealing with customers which I didn't find with the pool bar staff.
Place and swimming pools
Prices Staff behavior Late check in at 4 PM Not clean
- many restaurants to choose from - private beach - pool area - friendly staff - comfortable room - breakfast options were amazing
Memories of how Movenpick was 3 years ago
Dirty room, dirty bathroom, broken facades. Incomplete facilities in the room such as one cup only instead of two, no milk, no variety of teas, pillows outside the deluxe room dirty, dirty pools
Spacious rooms, location is great, breakfast is delicious.
The internet was not working, the staff promised, they will fix it,but no one did. At check out we waited for 45 minutes for our luggage to be collected from room, but at the end we had to carry it ourselves.
The facility is just amazing.
The internet was down all the time during our stay, we had to go near the lobby to get access. The service overall didn't match 5 star standards.
Poul area was terafic Houskeeping soooooo bad Waiting too much for evrything Staff not standby as guest wish
Landscape Gardens and Trees Breakfast
Slow Service Respond Poor Internet Service
The rooms were spacious and the views were lovely from our balcony. The breakfast buffet was great with a large selection of food and brilliant service from staff.
During the night, bugs and wasps were flying around the room, and as a result I was unable to sleep very well which was a disaster. It took over an hour to get a hold of reception from the room, and even longer waiting for the arrival of a requested iron. I arranged a wake up call with the guest service and it did not even wake us up, therefore we were very late to breakfast and very miserable as a result. The service was not top notch considering the expense of the hotel in general. we stayed for only one night, and next time we are sure to go else where on our journey to the dead sea.
the location and the architecture. The SPA is very beautiful but not included in the (high) price.
we waited hours to get the room. When it was given we were left alone looking for it in the huge hotel with our luggages. The staff didn't give us any assistence in any way. The steps to the Dead Sea are broken and sleepery. Be careful. I hurt my feet. Really not a 5 stars service.
The location is good
The service was very bad , we had to call room service 100 times before they bring the order. One chair was broken in the room and it took them all day to change it .
The beach room is just amazing, they gave us one on the private pool . Spa us great as usual Dinner buffet should be more varied and quality of food could be better
Receptionists not professional at all: I booked for an airport transfer through the hotel and they asked me to deal with the Hertz company Very slow process in check in and check out
The village style & decoration were very nice.
It would be more wonderful if they have seperate ladies swimming pool & facilites for womens who wear Hejab. Also, we wait for long time to take the room maybe 2 hours.
- Food was very nice. - creation areas are V.good. - main gate welcoming. - helpful guidance.
- care of staff. - quick service. - availability of room service. - availability of house keepers. - room facility. - gap of communication between the shift manager and room service staff. - unprofessional receptionists. - AC wasn't cold as well as the fridge. - pool wasn't clean enough.
the variety of options available at the hotel; kids area, couple of pools, different restaurants. likeed the way the hotel is built and architecture.
4pm check in, reception staff are blunt and poor hospitality. restaurants and bars staff would not assist till they are called and some said its not their job to serve, keeping in mind that there were 4 to 5 staff chatting and ignoring customers.
Decorations is old like bed mattress , air condition , TV , lighting , and not comfortable sleep .
Aggressive staff and not very professional.Air condition was broken. Fridge broken even the fan not working. Asked for baby cot 2 weeks before and asked for the cot 5 times after arriving. Room service they say yes when you ask for something but never appear.
decoration of rooms
Pool & Jaccuzi
Check in process took more than hour. Dinner was out of any soft drinks even water!
Rooms... Resort quality ... Food ... Facilities
The stile of building
The rooms was not ready .I chick in at 5:00. When I chick out the hotel did not know how much I payed and I should pay. Also the air condition does not work well.
It's a very lovely quite Hotel, Tropical-eastren themed, However my only note is that the furniture is a little old and needs renovation!
uncomfortable, the room wasn't clean
A person smoking a sigaret at the counter were not asked not to by the staff
I've been going to the Movinpick Dead Sea for years and never had a complaint. The facilities are lovely and simple and the staff accommodating. The restaurants are also above average, albeit, a bit expensive.
Well, this was the first time that I was completely underwhelmed. Our room wasn't ready until an hour after the check in time and it stank of smoke - I asked for a nonsmoking room. After another hour we were given another room - not fully equipped - bathrobes, full set of toiletries, water, etc. Also, the area (in the Village) wasn't clean - trash outside the door. Unbeknownst to us until we tried to eat there, the Grille Restaurant was closed for Ramadan - our only option was Luigi's, which was really just ok. On the second night we ate in the main restaurant buffet - note that the main restaurant was also closed and meals served in another location. All I can say is that the food was horrible. The restaurant was too crowded - and did not take reservations and people had to wait to be seated. Breakfast was similar although the food was a bit better. I want to note that I have stayed at this hotel more than a dozen times over the years and never experienced anything like this. The management was not prepared for the higher than average occupancy rate (told to me by the staff) - but did nothing to adjust - like opening up another restaurant. Overall, not a great weekend.
