Friendly staff, beautiful setting, relaxing atmosphere, nice room in the newly built part, good food, good value for money. Best place to stay as a base for Jerash. The ruins were unmissable!

Pool wasn't open. Would have been nice to be informed. Hotel has so much potential but needs alot of updating.

Great location - although you need to make sure you can find it - the directions I printed off the internet were not adequate. The staff were superb. Great food at a very reasonable price. Sound and very clean accommodation.

Friendly staff, value for money and sitting out in the balcony was enjoyable.

The shower was broken. No kettle and tea making facilities. No internet in the room. The parking space was very tight in our case.

Beautiful setting high in the hills amid olive groves. Breakfast was, by a long shot, the best I had during my 10 days in Jordan.

Hard to find--tiny sign on the main road very easy to miss. WiFi only in the lobby. Rooms very Spartan--a little decoration and bedside lamps would be a big improvement.

Great hotel for exploring the north of Jordan, very helpful and friendly staff. Will visit again!

We had a newly built chalet style room which was quite nice.

The hotel is not that easy to find. Luckily friends had stayed there prior to us so gave us good directions. We were in chalet style rooms which were ok. The main hotel building looks very 'tired' and was empty so no services available. It was near to Jerash and provided a bed and shower!

Very clean and comfortable rooms, well equiped and with magnificent views to the valley of Jerash. Really friendly staff, always ready to help. Good heating and great breakfast.

Spacious rooms. On-site restaurant. One of the reception personnel was very helpful and recommended us what was possibly the best cab driver / tour guide in Jordan who gave us an amazing daytrip to Jarash, Ajloun Castle, Mount Elijah and we could finish the day in Green Valley restaurant (go there!). Getting toast at the breakfast was a pleasant surprise, very good breakfast which was served at the table. Also great that you could pay with Visa, which is often not possible in Jordan. Hotel is very well indicated, probably the only hotel we've stayed at which was easy to find. Nice big parking lot too. Even though the hotel needs total refurbishment, we recommend staying here.

The hotel needs total refurbishment and a bit more character (some music in the dining area?): feels like it's out-of-date. The gentlemen who was working at the reception desk when we arrived forgot to give us the remote control for the tv so we were looking for quite some time in the room to find it. He also wasn't the friendliest. His colleague was totally opposite (see above "what we like about the Hotel").

The hotel is not right in jerash but about 7 km away, in the lovely place in the hills. The best is to print off the map from hotel's website if you driving yourself! The road there is steep and narrow but the views are worth it! It's rather quiet place, to relax. We stayed only one night making it a base to visit Jerash, Ajloun and Umm Quais. I would recommend it- rooms are clean, there is wi-fi in the lobby and you can even enjoy a beer there.

Staff very helpful and honest to a fault - I accidentally dropped some cash in the room and they have contacted me to return it. The hotel is in need of a refurb but everything works fine and it is well located for visiting Jerash and Ajloun. There's a pool though we didn;t use it. I'd be happy to stay there again and spend a bit more time chilling out.

The location of the hotel seems OK for those who want to visit Jarash or the north of jordan.

There is no laundary services.no room service, in the room I was in the bathtub was inside the room and without curtains and didn't make any sense to me Also the construction work is annoying

One of very few places to stay near Jerash. Th location in the hills outside the town is beautiful. The staff, like everyone else in Jordan, will do everything that they can to help you, and to make you welcome.

The decor is tired, and the facilities basic; although there is a pool. The restaurant is OK for breakfast, but other meals would be better taken in the town.

The Olive Branch Hotel is a delightful place a short drive from Jerash. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It was a delight to meet and talk with the owners. It's the only place I've ever stayed where I felt comfortable leaving my patio door open at night for the fresh air and mountain breeze. If you want to see Jerash, staying here is much better than driving up from Amman or down from Irbid. The owners also arranged excellent drivers for my forays to off-the-beaten-track regional locations. Highly recommended.

I was unable to extend my stay because they were fully booked.
