Perfect location. Friendly and great service
The staff are fine, but this dies not help, they have to completely renovate everything, and ... Not worth your nerves, AVOID!
This place is NOT suited for a decent stay, everything literally stinks, dirt us visible even on stairs and corridors, toilets leak, showers are with no curtains, wifi in rooms did not work, ... The street is so loud, the creepy windows are not suited to that, it is hard to sleep even at midnight...
The view from the balcony.
As two girls we were shocked with the low quality of the facilities and how much we had to make an effort to stay covered in order to avoid the obscene looks from the locals on the street. Our "breakfast" was given to us in a nylon bag and it contained 5 loaves of bread, two hummos cans and falafel.
The receptions, the bed, the path room, not clean not comfortable, they don't listen to ur complains
Nothing. The receptionist was kind and willing to help but unfortunately the hotel is "falling off " and he could not do much. The right employee in the wrong place.
To be honest i do not know how the building can be accessible to the public. The reception is fine but then from the lift up to the room thru all the floors, the place is just destroyed and dirty. Backpacking around the world , and always sleeping in hostels, i have personally never seen something like that. Toilets, room and location. Sorry!
The location is awesome, with nice rooftop just right in the front of Romani theater. Our room was clean and staffs were very nice. Everything within walking distance from here. They have elevator which is great if you're traveling with big luggage.
The room that I booked didn't include breakfast. But it was okay because we could find food somewhere else easily.
All staff especially receptionist whose name I cannot remember
Location was gud rite opp Roman Theatre. Breakfast was gud but the exact same thing every day makes it boring. On suite shower with constant hot water. Helpful staff, if probs they sorted them
It was quiet, most staff spoke little English, no tour operators near by
The lady on the front desk was very helpful and the porter was very friendly
We had 2 rooms one of the toilets didn't have a seat the other leaked. The driver they organised was unsafe, got a speeding ticket, didn't take us where we wanted to go and tried to up the price.
Very dirty and moldy. The worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Had to pay before seeing the rooms so we were stuck.
Good breakfast and friendly staff
all the rest
stayed 3 nights in the hotel and then came back for 1 more night after a few days. orient prince has hostel standard, is pretty clean but cause age shows at each corner its hard to oversee old stains (carpet!) and actually feel clean. tell if anything has to be fixed (door lock, shower, bedsheets) they do it. staff is friendly eventhough english and travellers knowledge are limited. the location is fantastic just opposite the roman theater.
breakfast is supposed to be ready at 8 am or 8.30am (depends who answers your question), i waited twice till 8.45 am.
Great breakfast and great for the money!
A bit noisy but it's in a busy area. Also the shower could've been hotter.
best location, the staff is amazing. The room is nice clean bedsheets,Service is very good.Mr kamal is very helpfull he give me a welcome hot tea.Breakfast is good.I will stay again but ?
I say but ?but thay have to chang the door lock for me.Evary time i open the door from inside i have to call to the front.
I liked the staff and location brilliant
Cleanliness of my room was quite poor
DIRECTLY across from the Roman Theatre. Markets and shops all around. Tourist office/tourist restaurant right around the corner for info.
A bit dirtier than I would accept for cheap hotels. Poor heating in winter. Windows mostly close.
This my second trip in Amman and in this hotel.Everything was exellent.I hope the next times visit in Amman will come in this hotel too.
the atention and the service was outstanding specialy the manager rabea yhey make you feel like in your oun home iam realy thankfull and im gona be back very soon gente hermosa
This is a great hotel for a budget traveller looking to stay one or 2 nights in Amman who wants easy access to the tourist sites. Front desk speaks English and knows how to get to all the important places in town, very helpful with all my questions. They also upgraded my room to a larger balcony room overlooking the roman theatre as well as allowed me a late check out since my flight was not till the evening. They also arranged for a car service to take me to the airport for a good price compared the the normal airport rate. Some other PROS: Fast internt in common areas TV with English channels is nice when u are far from home Mattresses was quite comfy and seemed newer (FOAM) Location overlooking biggest tourist site in entire city Roman Theatre and if you are in good shape you can even walk up the hill to the citadel and avoid paying a taxi to get you there. Price very affordable Restaurant in the hotel had meals that inexpensive and quite good for the price Free breakfast with all the standard fare (pita, cheese, meat, egg, vegetable)
But keep in mind it's a 1 star hotel. Look at the reviewer photos and accept that's what it looks like. The rooms are unrenovated but if you can look past the cosmetics this hotel will suit you due to its location to the major sites. Also due to its location in a main area there is some street noise so light sleepers beware.
I went many times to Amman, and I know many Hotels in Downtown. This Hotel its one of the Best here. Its located directly in Front of the Famous Pretty Roman Theater. The Room was nice and clean with Few on the Roman Theater. The Bedsheeds was clean and the Service was very good. Breakfast was delicous also on request the very good Arabic Lunch and Dinner. The Staff is amazing nice to the Customer. When I come back for sure I will stay again in The Orient Prince Hotel.
