The staff(Hamad, Osama,Saad and others) are very courteous, friendly and accommodating. We're lucky as well to know an experienced, professional tour driver, Hani, whose world-class customer service made our brief tour in Jordan more sufficient in such a short time.Location wise, it's excellent. The location is great in Amman, close to the Roman Theatre and to a lot of eateries. The hotel is not clean. The room door was broken and took a while to close with the key. The window did not close (they used duct tape). The carpet was very dirty. The bathroom was in very poor conditions, shower plate very stained and broken enamel, rusty tubs and shower. Very shabby. We had to move out after the first night.

Good locale, the room is comfortable and there is internet for free. I didn't realise it at the time, but the guy charged my room in Dinars, when I booked it in dollars, got ripped off a few bucks.

Rooms were not noisy despite the fact, that hotel is located in the city centre of Amman. No problems with hot water. The place is very dirty (lots of dust and soot), shabby, scruffy and rooms are really depressing. Lack of even basic housekeeping or maintenance - broken doors, windows, furniture units, everything was falling apart. The biggest odd was that it was impossible to use balcony. The big desk was placed against the balcony doors to prevent them from opening. The frame was warped and locks did not work. Overall - huge disappointment, it was the worst hotel which I have ever been.

The location is really good. You can just walk ten to fifteen minutes to main sights in Amman. The room is not really comfortable, and there is not 'hot' water.

The location, in Downtown, is extremely handy to central, lively, noisy Amman. It is great value, really cheap with an adequate breakfast and free wi-fi included. The staff are laid back and friendly, especially if you have a positive attitude yourself. The place is threadbare but the facilities are clean. Everyone smokes, constantly (welcome to Jordan!) in the reception area and even in the breakfast room, so you have to be prepared to be a passive smoker. The place is really run-down and no money has been spent on renovations etc for years. It might come as a shock to visitors from the affluent West to see how ramshackle and decrepit all of Downtown is, this hotel included.

Stopped in Palace Hotel from April 14th to April 16th 2012г. The hotel is located within the old city near to the main sights. Around there are a lot of shops and restaurants, the benevolent personnel. But the hotel, in my opinion, needs under repair.
