Attention shown by the staff and good customer service. Food was good and plenty to choose from.

No swimming pool

The staff was extraordinarily gracious and helpful and the location is extremely convenient for access to Petra.

The hotel does not serve alcohol.

Friendly staff, good sized rooms, clean, very wide choice for breakfast, free mini bar ( non-alcoholic). Excellent value for money. Five minutes from the Petra Ticket office

Five minutes walk to the entrance of Petra, close to several shops and restaurants, but away from the busy main road to Petra. Fresh fruit was waiting for us in the room and the free minibar with canned drinks, water, crisps and chocolate bars was a nice touch. The room was tastefully decorated and a good size. The pool on the top floor with BBQ in the evenings is great if you don't want to leave the hotel.

The fact that the hotel is within walking distance to the entrance to Petra. The room was very good value for money.

I didn't appreciate coming back from my 8 hour scenic walk at Petra to find no hot water available to take a hot soaking bath before I went out that evening.

First of all, the location is excellent! After long day of walking on sand and stones under sun the last thing you want to do is to go long way to your hotel, and since Petra Moon is located at the entrance to Petra, for us it was a "no brainer". Secondly, price to quality ratio is impressive, I have seen Marriotts and Hiltons in worse condition than this 3* hotel and actually the rooms have over-passed our expectations, as they were neat, clean, spacious and with new bathrooms. Also the attention to client was on level of 4-5* hotels and we really appreciated complimentary tee at the check-in, free fruits, chocolate, tee and coffee in the room.

In our room 205, wi-fi wasn't stable at all, working 3 minutes out of 10. But this wasn't a big disappointment considering all the pluses this hotel has.

The friendly and helpful staff. The comfortable room and easy walking distance into Petra itself and the surrounding town.

There was nothing we didnt like.

The family room accommodated 4 very comfortably; location to the historic sights was excellent; staff were nice but unable to resolve our concerns (pool and wifi)

Neither the pool nor sun deck were open (under construction); no mention was made of this...very disappointed as we were traveling with children; wifi did not work for 3 days; shower was a bit awkwardly designed and interior lighting was minimal (too dark)

Location

The room was not ready; we had to wait over one hour for it even when we arrived at 8pm (they knew there was a problem with our room but did not disclose it to us). When the room was "ready", my wife had a shower and the bathroom flooded, the entire room the corridor and the nearby room also got flooded. the staff offered us a room in a nearby hotel, which was worse than Petra Moon, we refused to go to the first option and ended up staying at the Crown Plaza in a smoking room because there were no other options. Worst experience.

WiFi hardly worked.

Friendly staff and very close to the Visitor's centre and the main high street. Sadly, rooftop pool wasn't opened yet and that would've made the stay amazing.

We were three people and got upgraded to a luxury suite by the nice reception staff. The room was really spacious, modern. The minibar was free, even if no alcohol, it was a really nice details. Beds really comfortable, nice view to the entrance of the park. Hotel is just next to the entrance so couldn't be in better location. Staff helpful even when asking recommendations for taxis, he advised were to get the best prices even if it meant not booking through the hotel.

We had the buffet dinner, which was very average. It's a tricky situation as there is only a few restaurants in the street down, but they seemed to be cheaper and perhaps better option.

Excellent location (2 minutes walking to the gates of Petra) and extremely good service (above what you would expect from the "star" rating).

This hootel as very clean the food was very good. The staff briliant. TH The mini bar was free which is unheard off these days.w

They really go the extra mile to ensure your comfort + enjoyment. Everything was spotlessly clean. Great breakfast. Nice little extras included free e.g. fruit basket, mini-bar, DVD player, Wifi, parking Great location - just behind the Movenpick but half the price of it.
