The location was perfect, with a good and safe car parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they served an excellent breakfast buffet too. I can really recommend this place.

    A bit noisy, earplugs recommended.

Location was convenient. Staff ready to assist with information

Breakfast was unimaginative. Shower facilities were limited with no defined shower recess resulting in water running across the bathroom floor. This was a safety hazard

An oasis right in the centre of the lively city of Madaba. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are neat and clean. We had a room with a balcony, which was very nice. Absolutely recommended.

    Central location with ample parking.

The location of the room was across from the elevator which unfortunately was noisy as the elevator dinged every time it came up to the floor. Also the traffic noise from the street was loud.

The Ukrainian girl at the front desk (sorry did not ask for the name). She seems like the only staff member (except the boss lady) that is fluent in english, and coherent. The other guys are... The room was cleaned (did not expect this) but only for first three days.

I stayed in a 35 jd room. Originally booked a 25 jd room. I spent a couple of months in Jordan earlier so I was prepared for low standards - no shower cabin - yes just the drain in the bathroom floor, so while showering you can sit on the toilet :-), poor mattresses, no facilities except the tv and so on. But what happened was absurd. I'll make it as short as possible. First the street noise was unbearable. At first the boss lady refused to change my room (?!) and afterwards made an effort of pointing out that my new room costs more and that she was soooo good to me. Anyway do not book the rooms facing the street! If you like sleeping that is. The sewer iron cover clanks loudly with each passing car. This is not the ho(s)tels fault but they do not warn you of this and it is apparently a known issue - the lady said she has even asked the Mayor to fix it. The balcony door does not seal off the sounds. The door does not seal anything and this is the ho(s)tels fault. Secondly and more importantly they do not accept credit cards. (Booking.com should really check this information!) Which would not be a big issue if they would be so nice not to lie about this. I would not book with them had I known I would be impolitely asked to go outside to the atm and get some cash. Because 'everybody does this'(?!). Finally a note - the boss lady arranged for a taxi trip to the Bethany - 25 jd. Picking up driver's friends along the way apparently was included in the price.

Very quiet area, yet close to all the attractions. Location is outstanding. Check in and check out were smooth and quick. Breakfast was simple, but fresh. The only concern - they have solar water heaters. Hence, there is no hot water early in the morning.

Basic and rather small but very clean, spic and span rooms and building. Great location next to St George's Church, private parking in the middle of the city, very helpful and kind staff.

Wifi connection in the rooms is very slow or non existing.

We loved the friendliness of the staff, the opportunity to chat in the common area, the helpful advice. Everything was simple but very adequate to our needs. The off-street parking was easy and secure. We would highly recommend it as a warm experience of Jordanian local culture.

Love where it was - right next to the church of the map and in the church courtyard - felt like I was a pilgrim. Everyone friendly and helpful. Breakfast ok. Felt safe in the area - people friendly and many restaurants and shwarma shops.

Basic accommodation - hostel like - ok for me but some people might not like this. My friend doesn't like boiled eggs so the breakfast didn't suit her. Tea and coffee served at breakfast was awful - the 2nd morning I took my own. I think it was a bit expensive when compared to other places we stayed for the same money. Wifi weak - my tablet only picked it up in the common room.

Very warm welcome, the staff and owners were great throughout our stay and extremely helpful and pleasant. The location is fantastic for seeing the sites in Madaba (or even the Dead Sea area) and only a short drive from the airport.

Nice room, great location to see Madaba. Very nice breakfast offerings and kitchen staff.

Rooms were cold. Took a long time to get heater to warm the room. Lobby cold as well. Booking taxi direct from hotel was a bit high. Investigate your own alternative taxis fares.

    1. Such a lovely clean place with an absolutely brilliant location 2. The lady at the Reception is so very nice and very kind 3. The girl who cleans up the rooms, always had a smile on her face and was very pleasant too 4. The lady at the reception makes it a point to be there and gives absolutely spot on advice about where to go, good places to eat and in my case that I should have probabaly hired a self-drive car to roam around Jordan

Note that it is minor stuff, but since it was the ;last day of my trip, it did make me a little cross. That said I woud still recommend the place and would definitely visit again. 1. Some unpleasantness that happened because I booked a taxi from outside and that was not taken very well, and though it lasted for all of 5 mins, it did spoil my last night a little 2. Almost missed my flight, as promised wake up call never did happen in the morning at 5 AM and the chap at reception would not wake up to open the door (took a lot of shouting to make him get up). 3. TV did not work but I did not care much for it as it is a beautiful city.

The hostel is as good as any good bed and breakfast in the uk, extremely clean and friendly , what more could you ask for ,, we was going to pay for the crown plaza at the Dead Sea , as money was no problem , but thought ahhhh why spend 5 times the price just for a clean warm quiet bedroom ?!?!

    The sink plug didn't work
