We had to extend our stay two times. Each time, we were allowed to have a late checkout, which was very helpful. Checkin was very smooth, and check out went fairly quickly. The breakfast is very good, with a nice variety. Overall, staff were very nice and helpful. Pickup from the Aqaba airport and return went very well. My wife became ill during our stay. She asked that I get her come crackers from the mini mart that is across the bay, near Platters, since the selection at the hotel mini store was limited to a few biscuits. However, the hotel has a policy that no food or drink can be brought in from outside, and they enforce that policy with a guard who checks bags on the walk back from the bay. So, I had to order room service for some crackers (not American variety), and some apple juice, which is rather expensive this way.

very friendly and professional staff in the restaurant (esp. miss lynn), fantastic housekeeping, the rooms were so clean and tidy! everyone was so lovely and nice with our kids, which left their seat in the restaurant in a big mess, thanks a lot to the staff! wonderful and huge breakfast until 11:00, great diving centre nearby. we enjoyed the place a little bit away from Aqaba city since we came just to relax, but there's a shuttle bus. supermarket available just outside the hotel, it's forbidden to bring food in, but being a free person we enjoyed buying there terrible staff at the reception! when we arrived with all our suitcases and bags we gave them the print out and said "we have a reservation for today". the answer was: "a reservation for what???" hmmm... for the zoo, for the movie night, ... we also had a severe problem in the hotel, which I do not want to state here, because it's ok and things could happen, but I was very unsatisfied how the staff at the reception, manager on duty included, dealt with the situation. our complaints were absolutely ignored until we really became angry. only mr. alaa (manager?) and a young lady behaved very professional and tried to find good solutions for us! bad smell from the canalization and NO GYM! the mentioned outside gym is a kind of playground but nothing for seriously active people. bad wifi-reception, the last day no internet at all. no arabic food at all, which was not a big problem for us, since we've been living in the Middle East, but I suppose that tourists would love to taste the local kitchen instead of standard international food, for breakfast foul and hommos were available. for arabs it could be interesting that there is no toilet shower, very strange for a 5* hotel in the Middle East. shuttle bus hours in the evening were not very family friendly. it is pretty rude to forbid the guests to bring food from outside in their OWN rooms!

The location The rooms and service are of a four star rating at best. Many of the staff members I met all over the hotel were unknowledgeable, unprofessional, dismissive and slow. The hotel should invest much more in training them and monitoring the quality (or lack thereof) of the service they provide. For example, the check in and checkout was a terrible experience. There was only one person at the desk, taking calls and catering to other customers while we waited, not to mention the slow and confused manner in which the person proceeded with this unnecessarily arduous process. He even followed us to our room later on to get our signature on the necessary papers…. They then pointed us to the person who was supposed to show us our room. We had to wait for her of course since she was talking to someone else. Then she simply pointed us to go down the stairs then to the right (traffic cop style). We got lost on the way as it turned out the room was a long way farther and proper signage was lacking. Thankfully we hitched a ride with the bellboy using the club car to bring our luggable in. The room itself was worn out, not well maintained, plain and not that clean. The tiny bath room smelled terrible and had some strange black matter on the corners of the shower (no bathtub) in addition to a tattered cheap waste basket. The room’s floor was very dusty and grimy as if it had not been cleaned in ages. The walls definitely needed a fresh coat of paint. The air- conditioner had a mind of its own and the tv refused to operate. There were no bathrobes available. The sheets had some tiny tears in them and were not crispy fresh. The curtains needed a good wash. We noticed several discarded items in some corners of the hotels. The hotel has such a perfect location and beautiful building, it is a shame that it turned out to be such a disappointment.

The Beach is very nice but not for families with kids! It not a family oriented hotel and the staff not well educated how to deal with kids! Staff in general are not freindly with families & kids!

Their warm welcome upon arrival, their concern about water consumption, facilities. Poor managing skills in handling problematic situations by giving excuses rather than taking action, over priced food and beverage, very cold water in the swimming pools. I spent three nights with my wife, 16 year old daughter, and 11 year old son , we had two rooms. Throughout our stay, we were disturbed on nightly basis by occupants of a room above us who were throwing full and empty bottles of beer which were breaking on our balcony, trash, cigarette butts. That happened after midnight till the early hours of the morning. Unfortunately, the management did nothing to solve this issue in spite of our continuous complaints. Upon check out, we explained to the management our dissatisfaction and disappointment with our stay indicating that the hotel deprived us from a enjoying our three day vacation. We were not satisfied with the way they handled the matter nor with their poor compensation package of one free night.

Location was great, beautiful views, excellent and courteous staff. Room was not clean when we first arrived. Our room did not have hot water. Although the staff tried to fix the issue, it still took 5-6 minutes of running the tap before the hot water came. &Quot;Superior family apartment rm" is not an apartment but just 2 connected rooms - a bit misleading.

The beach When I arrived there was no welcoming drinks and the room was not ready on time and when it was the mini bar was empty and no drinking water or sheets to dry after a bath or a face wash. The staff were not friendly at all and unproffissional they were screeming at each other and slow in helping customers

Staff very friendly and kind Resort is close to a polluted toxic industrial area.. If u go to the beach of resort on the left side u can see chimneys with fumes. The area is hidden by a little hill there is a chemical industry and a refinery. dont do to tala bay chech g oogle aqaba industrial area images. it a shame of underdevolep countries like jorda that a resort area is close to a toxic zone hidden by a hill

family accomodation, many swimming pools, children's pools check in service very poor, no information about where to go we were left to find our rooms with no map or escort. looked very disorganized at the check in desk, many people waiting and no information. room service was not up to standards, many times complained about Mosquitos no response, or concerns from staff. my daughter developed allergy to mosquitos bites no clinic after 8 pm.

The resort was beautiful. Staff for the most part very friendly and helpful. We didn't get into our room for 2.5 hours (at least) after check in due to room not being ready, then second room try was smoking room (and not ready) that smelled very badly, third room had someone in it when they brought us there and finally fourth room was nice. Manager gave us a discount but he should have given us the first night free it was so much trouble getting into the room (or at least a free dinner for all of our troulbes when we were so tired...

Food at the restaurants was very good as well and the facilities, esp the infinity pool was most relaxing and luxurious. The only thing that I really did not like was when we checked out. There was a huge mess with the taxi to take us to the border crossing. We were told outside that no taxis are let in without a reservation. Being that we are not from Jordan nor do we know local taxi companies, my husband was instructed to go inside and order a taxi from the reception. They told us that they "did not know any local taxis" and we had to order a driver and car from Thrifty, the onsite car rental company. This was ridiculous as many others were getting the standard local green taxis. Finally, a taxi that had brought someone took us to the border but by no assistance from anyone from the hotel. It was a shame as we had such a lovely experience the entire time we were there and for the last minutes of our trip at your hotel to be so unpleasant was unfortunate.

Excellent new hotel: luxuous and romantic. Rooms are clean, well equiped, with a balcony. Free shuttle to the city center. The hotel is located just in front of the coral reef, perfect for snorkelling. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Dinner at the buffet a bit expensive, especially compared to restaurants in the city center.

I liked the proximity to the Red Sea, and the fact that we did not have to leave the resort during the weekend. I did not like the fact that we were challenged at dinner by the restaurant staff, saying that we had not paid for half board (which includes dinner.) We were very tired after driving all evening, and after we checked in to the hotel, we went straight to dinner. I paid an additional 80 jd so that dinner would be included. They argued with us at the table, which was embarrassing. Then I got on the phone with the front desk (in the restaurant) and they also told me we had not paid for half board. So, my husband had to leave dinner, go up to the reception, and ask them to produce the print-out of our confirmation, to prove that we had half board. This took 40 minutes of our dinner time and really started the weekend off poorly. It was embarrassing and uncalled for.

We did have several issues with our room-tv and refridgerator didn't work, and no sheets for the pull out bed, but the staff responded quickly and were very efficient. It was a beautiful hotel and the breakfast was amazing. we had to wait for 3 and 1/2 hours for our 2nd room to be ready which was inconvenient. Also it is frustrating that they have 5 pools and there is only one wading pool for children and one much older, very crowded pool that the children were allowed to be in while the other pools were empty. That wasn't very family friendly.

I like the site of the hotel it is amazing ,food was perfect, quiet ,nice sunset , alot of pools and next to marina and you can get bought or cheap,,,,,, Cleaning was zero the housekeeping need more training our room was soo dirty dusty ,spiders home in sheet lamp ,covers and sheet have many dirty spot even it is washed ,employee in the restaurant need more training I feel like I paid money for 1 star ,hotel for service .information upon check in must be given about all the hotel

The place is nice. Not as luxurious as it is advertised in terms of service, but overall nice. It is good value for money and very family friendly. A lot: 1- Staff was not very professional. They delayed my check-in because, well, they forgot about it. And I ended up waiting in the lobby for an hour. 2- They were doing construction using heavy machines like bulldozer and compressors right underneath my balcony. 3- The food was really bad. At breakfast and at dinner. 4- I went to breakfast at 9am. Most dishes were not available. 5- I went to dinner at 9pm. Most dishes were not available. 6- My room had only decaf instant coffee. Although I requested multiple times to send real coffee, they never did. 7- There were constructions using heavy bulldozer machine at the beach at 10am in the morning!!

the food was really good I like it. 1-I don’t like the security on the hotel, there is no privacy there, even I had problem with them, and they open my suitcase without my approval and start see everything, and if he is worried about that he could tell me that they X-ray machine 2-The bed was not clean and I have photo for that.and u can conntact me so i can tell u more details

We stayed at Radisson Blu Tala resort in Aqaba in December 2012. The resort is very nice as there are different swimming pools including one heated in winter, one private beach on the red sea. We booked a classic double room which was big enough, very clean with luxury bathroom and a balcony with partial view on the sea. In addition the staff at the Front desk was very welcoming, the hotel kindly helped to book a reservation for our Jett bus back to Amman one day before our departure day. The breakfast buffet is of good quality and offer various cold and hot dishes, and it was included in our room rate. The only thing to bear in mind is that the resort is located in south beach, ie 10 km south from Aqaba center, so it would be easier to have a car. However the hotel has scheduled regular shuttle to the center and to Aqaba airport, allowing guests to have dinner in town and come back to the hotel. As a conclusion, I would highly recommend this hotel as it is of very good price/quality value in Aqaba!
