Very reasonable rate for the room, with a good location and friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was very limited but for the reasonable room rate it was not an issue.

Very helpful staff. The rooms are basic, but satisfactory for the cost. The hotel, like many in this region, has tiled floors through-out which makes it quite noisy, particularly when people slam doors and talk loudly. I checked the emergency exit on the first floor and it was locked; therefore not usable. The breakfast was basic and the hot food was actually cold, when we had breakfast. I think the burners had run-out.

The woman at reception was very friendly and helpful. The taxi service that the hotel organised to take us to Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea was very well priced and our driver was excellent. We were only there for one night but the hotel was one of the nicest we stayed at during our stay in Jordan, and the cheapest. Would recommend this hotel absolutely.

Mr Yanal Twal the owner and the staff looked after us very well. Being a small Hotel we got personal attention. It was like home and probably the best hotel we stayed at during our 9 night trip to Jordan covering Amman, Petra, Wadi Rum and Madaba. Communivation was easy as Yanal and staff have lived in the US. We felt secure and trusted the staff. At the end of our stay we feel that we have made new friends with the owner and his staff. Unhesitatingly we recommend to those planning a trip to Jordan to make Madaba the base and stay at Rumman. Lastly if we revisit Jordan our first stop will be at Ramman. Taxi driver from Amman had a hard time finding this hotel. Perhaps, a map showing how to get to the Hotel from the main highways would be useful. When we searched we found rave reviews of the Mariam Hotel next to Rumman but could not get booking there as they were full up. Rumman should improve their PR effort and publicity as in fact they are deserving.

Nice interior, nice lobby, very nice staff. Good value for money. Not so easy to get to the city center if you don't have a car. Breakfast could be better: we had just omelet, instant coffee, Lipton, bread, butter and jam.

We got a very friendly welcome- the staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is rather lovely inside and very tastefully decorated in a local style. The hotel is very well organised and has lists of very resonably-priced trips that you can do by taxi (which they organise for you) to just about everywhere. We took a morning trip to a nearby spa and to the Dead Sea, stopping for amazing views along the way. They are also most helpful in providing walking routes to everything that might you might want to see in Madaba itself. My young son and I came for a short stay here but wished it had been longer.

We enjoyed our stay. Our plane was landing shortly after midnight, so the hotel was quite helpful in arranging a vehicle to pick us up from the airport. The staff was very friendly and offered a lot of advice about Madaba, sites and getting around, and though we were only staying the one night, said that we should call if we need any more help or have any trouble navigating Madaba/Jordan. I found the bed comfortable and the room to be very clean. The room was somewhat spartan and did not have a/c, only a fan.

Friendly helpful staff, scrupulously clean room and public areas. Good location, easy parking. Although faultlessly clean, the rooms are basic. The breakfast is pleasant, though simple. There is no bar.
